Surfer is my go-to tool for entity optimisation. However, apart from entity optimisation, its keyword research tool, topical map creation & audits are equally robust as well. I am anyways planning to move out of Ahrefs and moving to Surfer fully. Finally, the support team is absolutely amazing. I have been using Surfer for ~2 years now and I can confidently say that their support is unparalleled. Cons The only con I see is the pricing. I can't say enough good things about joining their Facebook group - the knowledge in there is worth the price of the product. Pros Surfer's AI has continuously grown, learned, adapted, and been tweaked to make it better. Every time I use it, I notice something new - little things, like formatting or it getting rid of words like "delve." Or sometimes, it's bigger things, like the Auto-Optimize feature (which is scary good). Cons I think everything I've ever "not liked" about it was really my own issue of not understanding the product or how to use it properly. When I first started I just sort of dove in and started clicking buttons and guessing what they did. Trial and error. So there were some errors - but they were my own. When there is a con, the Facebook user group is full of people with far more knowledge then me - including programmers and the \[sensitive content hidden\], who has personally answered in depth questions, far exceeding what I needed. Probably some of the best support I have ever seen on a product, so for me, there really is no "like least" because when there is, there is always someone available to help solve that problem for you. In summary I would say the tool is fun to use, takes away guess work, saves time and demystifies content creation, optimising the chances of success with search engine marketing. Pros Surfer will save you hours by eliminating or massively reducing the amount of time you need to spend researching and planning the structure of an article. So my overall experience is VERY positive. Pros The integration with Jasper AI which I use to write my articles. I can work right inside of Jasper (so long as I am logged into Surfer) and do a content audit for my article and make the adjustments necessary to the amount of words needed, the amount of headings, paragraphs and images needed to compete with my competitors on the keyword page of Google that I am targeting. Within minutes I can get my content score up to a competitive level and get on the first page of Google. Genius!! Cons The tutorials are by people who have English as their second language which is not always helpful. In addition, their training videos are not well organized, lots of information is skipped over and too much is assumed that you know. A more robust training program would be super helpful.
