Pros I use the Google Sheet addon which makes it easy to feed data into other destinations. The connectors are plentiful, including the usual suspects like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, Google Analytics (Universal & GA4), Bing Ads, and others, but there are also reliable connectors for platforms like TikTok, MailChimp, Shopify, and more. Cons I wish we had the ability to add specific tabs to different schedules with the same Google Sheets file. Most of the metrics that I'm looking for could be found in Dataslayer data connectors - some may require a bit of learning to understand its usage, the methodology on how the data was collected, etc. Ultimately, the analytics team in my organisation has an overall positive impressions towards using Dataslayer and looking forward to keep continuing it. Cons For now, there hasn't been a lot of issues in using Dataslayer. The only con I've experienced is the extent of which data can be combined with another - on Looker Studio, sometimes they couldn't be married to visualise data that I want.
