Pros Product is easy to use, relatively easy to build, integrates well with existing systems and new innovationsare being integrated into the apps all the time. Customer service is brilliant. Cons Certain aspects of the build are a little complicated and some support materials could do with updating. Pros Zero code application. Ability to deploy application in hours. Database management and changes are easy to implement and therefore very cost effective. Cons The software is missing user friendliness. A couple of areas should require a focus such as spliting the notifications of export, notification messages and notification from the system itself (copy and link). A dedicated area for each of this notification would ease the usage. Ability to adapt colours, font and how to organise the fields in the template (size, position, colour layout etc ...) Then the advantages of a simple app with plenty of potential to adapt to meet my exact needs, became apparent. The centralisation of an up-to-date copy of data, particularly where there are several users needing to collaborate and share, is a major advantage. The dashboard feature allows me to gain a simple insight into how each project is progressing whilst allowing me to drill down for more information if I need it. Pros It is easy and intuitive to use. It can be tailored to the needs of a business quite simply and with no need for any coding. If you were using it with clients or perhaps with other colleagues, the centrally held information can be updated and shared if required. We had previously used Excel spreadsheets to manage data across several functions but if this information needed to be updated and shared with others, there was always a problem with version control. This problem disappears if you use a Softools app. Cons Some of the terminology used across the app was not something I had come across before (e.g. RAID) although it is all used widely across the apps so I got used to it quite quickly. The key is to invest a little time in the beginning, to understand how to tailor the app to your own requirements. Features like exporting templated reports are also very helpful in getting the data across faster and by avoiding human errors. The overall experience has not been positive so far and I am sure with future updates it would remain similar. Pros The straightforward approach to data recording is hard to find in web applications. Softools is simple to understand and add data in a structured format. Also the additional features like bulk data imports helped us in getting the data across quickly. Exporting templates in the desired format has also been helpful for us. Cons The user interface could be improved to make it more aligned with the rest of webpages on the internet. Pros The advantage is that its modern interface allows me to create and implement enterprise-level DIY applications in a few hours, managing to solve problems as they arise, streamline the work team flow and ensure the success that is required. Cons What I liked least about this software is the high price it presents for some advanced tools. As it develops with this good software, it is necessary to use tools that offer greater help and cannot be accessed due to the high cost of workshops for beginners or application portfolio auditing: evaluation of current applications and strategic improvement. Cons The only thing to be said is the feature of enabling the 'Text size' to be made a bit more bigger. For example: in a text field , the label that gets displayed in the app is too small.
