Easy charting and useful. Much easier than using a paper charting before. Pros It is well organized, straightforward, easy to use!! Once we put all resident's information, this software is really easy to use for all staff. Cons It would be helpful if there is note page. Sometime it was bothering when all staff doesn't know detailed information about resident, so It would be helpful if there is a note page for all to see. It is easy to use once someone is trained. Staff seem to pick up on it pretty quick. Cons Communication; particularly when for example, a staff member enters in a cocnern/question about a resident; it would be great to have a way to respond directly to that in a note versus typing in a new note or observation. Pros ECP is an all around communication record system for residents. All information can be accessed no matter the location making oversight easier if not on sight and want to ensure care and treatment for residents. Cons Inputting all the data in the beginning and building cares was a little time consuming. Reasons for choosing ECP EHR The blind narcotic count was a really nice feature as well as the app making this system easy to use no matter where you are. I never want to go back to paper. It is so great and so easy to use. Pros We can keep diagnosis updated, meds updated, fall reports, vaccinations - everything just a click away. Cons Took a Little time to figure out how to set up the alerts . Locks up or freezes once in awhile, then kicks you out and you lose your current documentation.
