It's a useful tool and I like to have it handy while I work on Microsoft Word. Pros I like that the tool is installed on my PC and is compatible with MS Word, so I don't have to log in all the time and worry about being spied on my activities. I've used CM for more than ten years, and my favorite feature is checking that the claims are correct. I also like the claim summary for responses to Office Action. Pros It catches stuff. Running claim sets and application drafts through claimmaster is one of my essential quality checks. Cons Defining patent terms can be difficult and often fails. Sometimes I want a string (including spaces) to absolutely be interpreted as a claimed element for antecedent basis checks. I enter it into claimmaster and, if I'm lucky, it works. Some parts of it I don't use because I already have good tools. This product cuts that time down enormously. Pros The claim review (claim chart, antecedent basis) is fast, accurate, and user-friendly. The specification review is fast, thorough, and accurate. This product does exactly what I expected, and speeds up my review process, not to mention making it more accurate, considerably. Cons I haven't found anything to report here yet.
