Translating marketing content is arduous but DeepL Pro makes it a bit easier. Pros DeepL Pro enables us access to real-time and accurate translations in a multitude of languages. This has not only saved us money on an agency to translate for us, but has also saved us time given that the native speakers have less editing to do once the content is translated. Cons One feature that would be nice is if you could save your top language preferences at the top of the language drop down to enable quick selection. Though, this is not too much of a burden when navigating options. Reason for choosing DeepL Pro We did not utilize a different product, but rather an agency. Pros DeepL can practically translate the most spoken languages in the world for free with a word limit, in the pro version, we find that there is no word limit, you can make custom translations if you wish, entire files can be translated by simply entering them. Personally, I consider this translator as the best I have tried, since the translations are more human than the rest, another positive point is that when making the translation, there are other alternatives which you can choose and decide which is the best suited to what you are looking for. It is available for download on your desktop, so when you need to translate something, you quickly use a command on your keyboard, the application pops up and you use it for that emergency. Cons A few negative things that I consider that bothered me a little, were that they insist a lot on downloading their desktop application since I consider that the page is very fast and you get the translations at the moment. For the rest, I consider it an efficient, effective, and easy-to-use translator. Initially as a student I use the normal version of Deepl which is free of cost and helps me a lot. After getting job into Schaeffler, I started using the pro version of the translation application. It helps me to write my reports and presentations and also it check my grammar thus it is an two in one software for me. To learn a language is quite difficult thing but to learn via such Platforms I'd quite interesting. My proficiency of German is actually getting better after using Deepl Pro. Cons Irrelevant notifications to get Deepl pro is annoying for me in my initial stages. I think that should be repaired as some of the students or professionals don't need pro version. The Translation is way better than other tools and performs a nearly close translation. Document translation is pretty much good with various formats supported. It just does not perform translation of sentences word by word but most of the time translates according to structure of sentence. Cons Supports multiple languages but still lacks many. Not have a consistent experience in all languages. The dark mode is not available. Even with an Advanced subscription only 20 documents a month. The documents lose their format after translation. The sentence structure is lost after translation for long sentences and makes the sentences seem robotic. Cons as vezes o aplicativo trava bastante, principalmente na sua inicialização, também não contem gírias e traduz os texto no sentido literal das palavras, o que acaba por dificultar pois no português temos diversas formas de dizer a mesma palavra e o aplicativo não consegue se adaptar a isso. Cons I dislike a feature that was added in the last months, that when you scroll over a word it turns blue and sometimes it's bothersome. It lacks phrases / expressions / words of the medical area.
