Overall the solution is extremely user friendly, simplifies planning and scheduling of shipments, enhances situation awareness and decision making process via real time tracking and reporting, and provides transparency to promote collaboration at many levels. Cons I did not experience any issues with the solution. Any initial changes or requests were catered for during the set up if the system. Pros The ever increasing development and improvements. That our thoughts are welcomed and that the CargoValue team seems to be part of our team. It demonstrates the benefits that modern software can have on a not so modern steelworks and port. Cons We are going to rely on CargoValue greatly in the near future, but that shouldn't be a con. Very solutions-oriented and typically they were able to find solutions (either already imbedded in the software, or they developed stand-alone) to assist in CargoValue better fitting within our business activities Pros Working with the people within CargoValue. User interface was very good and easy to navigate - also very intuitive. Cons Dashboard or snapshot views - our business relies heavily upon having all inventory & shipment details available in a 'snapshot' view. This sort of view (at least the level we were requesting) was difficult, but the CargoValue team was never dissuaded by our requests and continued to provide alternative solutions - outside of what was already available in CargoValue. The layout and presentation are super user friendly and give a great feel for where things stand both visually and with the data. Pros The interface is very intuitive and easy to use. It provides a nice overview of our vessels in transit and how that ties into the inventory all in real time. Cons The tool can be further developed to cover demurrage analysis; currently there is a module for that but not really adapted to our business. Pros The ease of use and the visibility of planned shipping has been critical to enhancing our business. It has assisted in reducing vessel clashes and has positively impacted the cost of demurrage to the business. Cons There were aspects of the system that we wanted to enhance and the customer service has been second to none in providing development assistance and support to meet our requests. Pros Easy of seeing real time inventory, ability to manage shipping schedules and see daily consumption. Cons There is very little not to like, at the CargoValue Team are very proactive in developing improvements as required by customers to enhance access and use of the information, such as scenario planning. Cargo value also provide an excellent future inventory projection which is a useful tool for supply chain management. Cons It will be good if Cargo Value can have an offline simulation feature. We have had RCA's conducted with the assistance of the Klaveness Digital team and they are regularly communicating and meeting with us to assist in improvements with our schedule. The customer service is second to none! Pros I love how easy it is to navigate the program and how amazing the customer service it. Product development seems to be at the forefront of the companies plans and their interaction with users in attempt to improve the product is amazing! Cons At the moment there are some small features which would make use even better. Very thankfully we have already been able to discuss this with the development team who are working on implementing these things. What is important to me is that the part which I fill in manually today will be automised. Pros The part of this software that I am using is under development, the features I am using right now will be removed. I think there is potential to do inventories, but I am expecting it to take time. Cons It software is very slow. The inventory we have at the moment is way to time consuming to fill in, but will be removed and replaced.
