My work is become more easy rather than in previous Pros Show all assets in one place. so it's very helpful for a link in InDesign Cons In the InDesign window, it shows very tiny so I have to search in DAM then copy the name and find in InDesign. there should be some shortcuts. The experience of actually using CI Hub is really annoying however. Pros CI Hub provides an effective integration between Adobe CC and Brandfolder. Using CI Hub provides the ability to add, delete, edit, and share materials right from the Adobe applications. Cons The user experience and interface is dreadful. Truly, shockingly, bad. Every step of the process is slightly more difficult than it should be because the app is so poorly designed visually. All of the features are there but they make you fight every step of the way. We are seeing its complete usage including metadata manipulation as a vehicle for addressing content creation in a number of places, including education. Pros With CI-hub it is easy to define and access your content interface, full of metadata, searchable and available on an ever growing number of platforms. What I like best is the ability to connect closed vertical environments like a DAM with general purpose environments like google cloud and office 365 or even Figma Cons the sw appeared to be quick and consistent so far. I use the CI-HUB add-on in PowerPoint to insert images into my presentation slides from Adobe Stock images. Also, I use the CI-HUB Connector of Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, and Google Drive. Pros CI-HUB is an easy-to-use add-on that integrates with commonly used business applications. It connects all the user's digital assets services from various service providers. It allows users to search, select, and insert their digital assets directly into many applications they might be working on, like PowerPoint. Cons Although the Ci-Hub comes with a free plan, it would be better if the paid plans were cheaper to allow users to benefit from the full features at a more affordable price. " June 21, 2022 5.0 It truly has made life using multiple assets per projects that much easier when you work on 5-15 a day. Pros The ease of use for the amount it is used on a daily. It is rather fast all things considering and would take me so much more time to download all my elements separately and place them in my files one at a time. Pros Great option for small to medium size businesses, workflow management is a must have and CI HUB excels in this area, and ETL support and other great features help CI HUB stand out. Cons The only thing I would like more native integration with is in supporting data management. I know this might be an edge case but it's the only negative I saw during my trial. Pros IT is easy to use and set up. There are a lot of products supported for integration. It makes it very easy to use PIM data in Adobe softwares. The interface is also pretty simple. Cons Sometimes the tool has to be refreshed to reflect changes in API. It should also allow to export links for assets; this could be very useful for certain use cases. With some products, write back feature is not available.
