I use the program 2 to 3 times during the summer. I usually have to call the city for help navigating the site. Pros The software is simple to use and easy to manage. It is quick and easy to upload documents needed. Cons I wish that I could get reminders for when my taxes are due. I also find it difficult to check what payments have have been made already. It would be great if I could integrate it with my Airbnb and VRBO accounts. I have had good experience with their customer service department for any issues I have encountered. Cons We use a debit block on our bank accounts and when paying the taxes on the website it is unclear what ACH ID will be used to pull the money from our account. We have had issued with several ACHs being blocked because we didn't have the correct ACH ID on file with our bank. I had to work with customer support to obtain the correct ID and get it set up with our bank then re-submit the payment. Reasons for choosing Localgov We are required to use the website to file the taxes with certain local governments, so we didn't choose to make the switch.
