Pros Es genial que tanto para Windows 8 y Windows 10 no es necesario instalar un antivirus porque su sistema operativo ya tiene uno incorporado y catalogado como muy bueno, hablo de Microsoft Defender. Excelente antivirus y muy fácil de usar, ya que su menú es muy intuitivo dividido en secciones con información relevante fáciles de comprender, actualizaciones constantes y que incluya Firewall para mantenerse protegidos ante las amenazas de la red, al igual que el control de las cuentas de usuario otorgando o no permisos para ciertas acciones. Microsoft Defender es todo lo que buscas para estar seguro con tu ordenador y al ser un programa integrado en el sistema no tendremos ningún tipo de publicidad y sus notificaciones no son para nada abusivas en cuanto a recurrencia. Prácticamente no nos enteramos de que está ahí. Cons Es muy estricto en torno a la desinstalación de la misma, es imposible. También hablando de sus funcionalidades, ya que no es posible desactivar todas sus funciones cuando el usuario lo amerite. Pros Microsoft Defender is my go to Antivirus software. I used to use Norton but with Windows 10, Microsoft Defender works just as good if not better than Norton. I like how it comes built with Office 365 and I like how easy it is to use. Cons There is nothing I do not like about this software. It does exactly what is is supposed to do and it does it with ease. I have constantly been providing feedback about false positives and it continues to flag them every day. Cons No matter how many times I flag emails that I receive from listservs as being ones that should not be quarantined, it puts them in there every single day. Which means that every single day I have to go in and release them, ~ 60-80 emails a day. The process for releasing them is very slow and the whole thing takes me minimum 15 minutes a day. We have been able to patch out-of-date software, fix zero-day vulnerabilities, and remove risky software from our devices thanks to vulnerability assessments. We can now utilize KQL to build custom detection alarms thanks to custom alerts. These are ideal since we can be notified as soon as anything happens that we want to know about. Finally, while phishing campaigns are fantastic, more work still has to be done. There are a lot of significant drawbacks to it, but they appear to be updating it really quickly, so I'm hopeful the functionality increases. Una de las cosas que más me molesta es el la 'impersonación de usuario' es decir, cuando sale "missing host" como emisor del mensaje, Defender lo detecta y a veces saca el emisor real o simplemente te lo marca como correo no deseado. Cons Al ser para Office, no consigo que funcione para Mailbird que es mi gestor predeterminado de correo, pero lo uso con Outlook al tener Office y le doy un uso más de seguridad a los correos por Outlook (como analizar los adjuntos).
