We have everyone from manufacturing to our corporate level positions complete a word survey assessment from McQuaig. It’s user friendly and easy to navigate. It provides a detailed report after candidates have completed the assessment and interview questions. We use the feedback report to release candidates that were unsuccessful in our recruitment process. Pros Detailed word survey report and the interview questions. Pros I like the following: Customer service is the best, product is easy to use as an administrator and for our students to take. The output on page 5 is instrumental in seeing how the person is behaving at this time compared to the real pattern. I use this graph to inform students that we want to find them a position that will allow them to behave like the real graph and not the situational. Once we explore the issues impacting them that is reflective in the situational graph they are amazed at the accuracy of the results. Cons Not that I have experienced over the last 16 years. We enjoy the Job Fit Survey, as do our clients. Great tool, could use some updating on terminology and a better explanation of team fit. Pros We enjoy the flexibility of the tool to create a report that is customizable. Cons That you need to spend an extra credit for the Self Development survey and then it doesn't even offer the graph in the SDS. I think some of the terminology could be changed for better understanding for the candidates. Dislike the team comparison tool, find it quite useless and not of value at all.
