With AI, this can be done in a very short amount of time. Ever had a word on the tip of your tongue, or needed a synonym or antonym? AI can assist with that. Need a grammar check or a quick text analysis to count adverbs? AI is your go-to tool. I'm cautious about the darker aspects of text and story generation by AI. Sure, you can generate multiple ebooks a month if you choose, but a true writer, a true storyteller, wouldn't want AI to take over their narrative. Image Or consider when you need a visual reference to vividly describe the fantasy world of your story. You can ask the AI to create it for you with just a few guiding prompts. Yes, I can use image editors, but the process is neither simple nor quick, and often the results are discouraging. As a writer who thrives on visualizing my worlds and characters – particularly in children's fantasy stories – this is invaluable. For one project, I needed to construct an imaginary planet with unique wildlife and plants. I had only a vague idea of how a tree should look and asked the AI to visualize it, refining the image to my liking. Sound Taking it a step further, why not produce your own audiobooks with AI? The technology has advanced so rapidly that when I first tested the Audiosonic app, I was astounded. I expected the robotic tone of early TTS engines, but needed part of my story read aloud as part of my editing process. I simply copied and pasted snippets of my story and generated the audio. It was simple and swift. The result? My characters were brought to life with 20 different voices that sounded like real human beings, not mindless robots. Cons I would love it if the Audiosonic app could be tweaked a little more, perhaps with the possibility of adding directions for the AI so that it knows how to read something that is not necessarily in English (or any other known language on Earth, I should say, as a writer of sci-fi and fantasy :-)).
