I only entered "Writesonic" as the name of the product and a few descriptive keywords (specifically: "better marketing copy, effortless, resonates with others") which were taken from Writsonic's own website and selected "product description" for the marketing copy I desired. Here are two unedited paragraphs of text that were produced by the software itself: "We believe in the power of words. We're not kidding. We believe that words can build bridges, change minds, and even rewrite history. That's why we're so passionate about helping you get your words heard. It's why we exist. Pros I was most impressed by the natural-sounding English produced by Writesonic. As an English teacher, I never thought that somthing that well-written would ever be written by a machine in my lifetime. Cons I was initially skeptical that Writesonic might not be the best value for the money just after purchasing as it was a bit more expensive than other options. However, my fears were soon allayed when I saw the beautiful copy the software could produce. Pros It allows for a quick generation of ideas or even whole paragraphs. I use it to skip the process of thinking about what to write about, Writesonic gives me a headstart in my work. Some paragraphs are generated so neatly that they don't even need any changes, and that's great. It has a huge variety of texts to create (from youtube ideas to AIDA frameworks). Cons Sometimes the content it creates is not exactly what I envisioned. More often than not I can only use a fraction of a generated paragraph, the rest is practically useless. However, it depends on how much information you give. More information means better paragraphs, although the software is still far from perfect. Even though the software has a lot of options to choose from, I only use a handful of them, since the others do not work well enough, at least in my experience. Don't get me wrong; the tool is quite competitive for short-form content. But with the long-form, there is a lot of scope for improvement. But seeing Writesonic making changes in that direction gives me hope, and that's why I'd say this is one tool to watch out for in the future. But for the time being, I'd watch their progress. Pros Writesonic has a pretty easy-to-use user interface. You get on the tool, and you'll find the dashboard features, which are quite time-saving and looks good. Additionally, the features (more than 50) are pretty easy to use. Just select one of them and key in the inputs to get the best results. What I like the most are its short-term content features, which happen to be pretty handy and usually give out a good number of options in results. Cons Though the features are easy to use, their AI content output works as a hit or miss, especially for long-form content. Moreover, the content produced cannot be edited or designed along the way. When you key in your inputs and get results, you cannot edit the results without further losing credits. They have introduced a new editor feature, which is still a work in progress, but a nice decision to take the next step. But still, the credit use can be optimized further. It works good for the short-term, but the long-term consumes too many credits (which is ok) but doesn't give the best results for the credits consumed (which is not cool). Also, I've noticed (and maybe it's just me) that their application is out of service or doesn't work with my browser (Google Chrome). It's not a regular thing, but coincidentally, I've noticed that 3-4 times, which gets annoying. I didnt know such a tool exists where I put in half the effort and it does the rest. Pros I like the article and blog writing ability of Writesonic. The software generates an outline which you can tweak to your liking. After that, you just need to click through a few steps and you will have your content written in a few seconds. My favourite features include the product descriptions, article titles and page headers. I think they’re brilliant and the fact that you get multiple different choices is really useful, you can save all the other choices for another time so you’re not wasting your credits.
