Everything is so positive! They have great customer service, a great platform, and an amazing cost all in one!!

Pros

I work for a county fair in Iowa and this company is AMAZING!!!! It does everything you could ever want for putting on a large event! I was so excited to have our sponsorships live so we could send out mass sponsorship info and not have to worry about limited sponsorships having duplicate entries! I also love that you can automatically sent the business a invoice and we don't have to create our own. Another thing i LOVE is the volunteer sign up! We we were doing our signup on Signup Genius and the list of jobs and shifts were over 10 pages long to scroll through. The way Stride Events has it set up so you can select a job and then see the shifts makes it SO much more user friendly and our team is loving it! Lastly, we had a subscrition to Constant Contact for our mass emails. We were able to get rid of that as well because this company has that included as well!! And it automatically categorizes all your email lists so you can select who you are sending too! I forgot to also mention all the awesome features like particpant signsup we use for all of our events and activities as well as vendor signups! It tracks and does absolutely EVERYTHING you could want AND it is all FREE!!!!!!! It is so amazing you would think it is too good to be true, because that is what i thought when i recieved the sales call, but it was worth my time to look into if all this was as good as it sounds, and I am SO glad i did! \[sensitive content hidden\] has been AMAZING and if the site doesn't do something you want it to do. He sends it on to their developers or lets us talk to the \[sensitive content hidden\] to make it even better! The customer service has been amazing! I recommend this to every big fair and event out there!!

I wished they would collect mailing addresses when sponsors submit their info. I talked with \[sensitive content hidden\] and the \[sensitive content hidden\] and they are currently working on getting this done which I am SO excited about! They have amazing customer service! You ask and you shall receive!

Overall it's been a great experience and I absolutely love that stride events is saving my business money and building my customer base.

Pros

We love the support and being able to speak with our rep when we need help. The platform does everything! Our waivers, marketing, tracking, emails, purchases, and much more! We are so happy we switched to Stride

Cons

The platform offers so many tools, that it can get a bit overwhelming for someone who is not strong with computer skills in the beginning, but our Rep \[sensitive content hidden\] was there helping us and made it seamless Now we're trained and feel confident!

We had a very positive experience with Stride Events for our 2026 film festival. \[sensitive content hidden\] and the team are incredibly responsive and immediately answered the few times we had any issues. I would highly recommend them.

Pros

The interface was easy to use for setup, ticket redemption at the box office, and for the customer. What was really helpful since we are a nonprofit, was patrons could also make donations in addition to purchasing tickets. The ticket reader was easy to use and was sent directly to our office.

Cons

Very few cons except I wish we could have customized the graphics for the tickets easier to make them stand out more.

I'm very pleased with our experience with Stride events. They have helped us so much with the overall ticket sales and tracking of attendees to our events. We are a small association and needed a solution that wasn't complicated and not cost prohibitive. Stride has been great!

Stride events has helped our business grow tremendously. We started offering electronic ticketing with QR codes at our events to offer our customers a quicker option for using a credit/debit card to purchases tickets. We moved to a handheld tablet with a card reader to use "tap and pay" to make it even faster. We now have 4 kiosk systems where our customers can quickly get into our event with ease. We could not be happier with their platform and customer service is always available to help when needed. I don't know what we did without them!!!

Pros

They have the absolute best staff that bends over backwards to help and they are always available. Can't beat that!

Cons

There really hasn't been anything we haven't liked. The service is fantastic, web site is easy to use and packed with information and stats.

Stride events has made our event registration so much easier to manage and track. I get a snapshot of the revenue earned to date, as well as the comparison of year to year. This is an awesome platform!

Pros

Quick and easy reference for registrations, revenue and easy check in. Setting up events is straight forward.

Cons

I would like more flexibility with setting up sponsors. Currently sponsors can only be assigned a set dollar amount, and our sponsorship is typically a price range.

Stride Events has significantly elevated our ticketing experience. We were able to move away from pen-and-paper check-ins to scanning mobile QR codes, which allowed us to keep ticket sales open longer and streamline entry for attendees. Their platform offers a robust set of tools, including growth features that have helped increase attendance at our shows year over year. The most valuable part of Stride is the support. Our account manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], works closely with us all year to help us maximize the platform and keep pushing our events forward.

Pros

Stride Events made a huge impact on our ticketing process. Moving from pen-and-paper check-ins to mobile QR scanning streamlined entry and allowed us to keep ticket sales open longer. The platform also offers strong growth tools that have helped increase attendance year over year. Excellent. Registration is now so easy that even my most tech challenged client was able to register without any assistance.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] made set-up so easy incorporating volunteer signups, registration, and ticketing. Having it all under one roof is a huge time saver for me. I was using 5 different software to keep up with everything. Now I'm on one site.

Cons

When setting up registration questions you have to disable the question I. Stead of racing it. It makes the page look messy.

Seamless and sanity-saving, Stride Events has made event planning a pleasure even for a newbie.

Pros

The customer service was impeccable and also essential. The setup was complicated, but the representative took care of all of that and was available for questions quickly. When contingencies arose they were easily dealt with with their features.

Cons

I honest-to-deity can't think of a downside.

Shopify was confusing to my customers. I had to manage all the back-end myself. I also had to collect the sales taxes and organize all the vendors and guests manually on spreadsheets. It also mixed my records from the event with my retail store records which wasn't ideal. Now that I switched to Stride events, that is all handled through the software effectively offloading those tasks. As a solopreneur it's been invaluable.

Stride Events has been extremely helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions when I started using the system
