Overall, it’s been smooth, they are easy to work with and bring both the business and costumer value

Pros

From my first interaction, everybody has been amazing. They work as a well oiled machine and everyone knows how to communicate. I personally enjoy the fact that money collected from customers is deposited into my business bank account, not held by the booking software. As a team, we enjoy the integrations with all the systems we use as well as the fluidness on the backend as well as the customers interface.

Cons

I have had a great experience using this platform so far. I have zero dislikes. Would recommend to any Watersports operator looking to improve their customer booking experience.

Pros

I really enjoy knowing exactly who I'm working with and greatly appreciate all the support they offer! I appreciate all the education they include though webinars, conferences, etc. I like knowing I'm doing business with someone that built their business from the bottom up just like I did!

Cons

I struggled in the beginning to learn the ins and outs, however much of that may fall on me as technology by far would be my greatest weakness.

My overall experience with WaveRez has been excellent. It’s a reliable, efficient platform that has genuinely improved how we run our business. From managing bookings and availability to handling customer communication, everything is easy to navigate. The system has saved us time, reduced manual errors, and helped us scale more smoothly.

Pros

What I like most about WaveRez was how easy it made managing online bookings. It is user-friendly and packed with features that save time especially during peak season. It streamlined our operations and helped us stay organized while giving our customers a smooth booking experience.

Cons

The initial learning curve. No matter what booking platform you switch to there is always a learning curve. WaveRez was very helpful in speeding up the process.

WaveRez is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, making it an ideal booking platform for tour operators. What I like least about WaveRez is the lack of QuickBooks integration for smoother accounting. This would reduce our time to take reports out of WaveRez and manually enter them.

Fast professional service. They delivered on their commitments, and the tool is great to use. Staff members have responded favorably to Waverez and were able to adapt quickly.

5/5! I'm glad I made the switch. Their team is committed to the boating industry and very involved. I would recommend to any operator that has a tour or rental company. The guy that sold me was honest and transparent and didn't try to push something on us that wouldn't work. I really appreciate that.

Pros

First and foremost, customers service. Quick responses from the team when we have issues. This is always the biggest pain point with my last system. It doesn't take weeks (and I mean weeks) for assistance with rate updates and trip changes. Yes, I can do some of this myself, but I'm a one man show so every now and then it's appreciated. From a feature standpoint, I like a few things. The matrix rental view is great to see my rentals and tours for the day. I can close/open times, make reservations, see availability, and get a quick overview of what is going on for the day. It's not complicated and easy for my team to read. I also really like the text message tool that allows me to alert all of my customers in case of weather or traffic. This has saved us so many times that I can't even count. They don't charge for senseless stuff like bookings from 3rd party sites like Viator, which saved me a few thousand already this year.

Cons

Since coming from Fareharbor, I did like having a mobile app and being able to send payment link via email for my private charters. Yes, you I can still do everything from their web version, but it was a bit quicker. I also liked the reporting tools a bit better. I have mentioned these features to the waverez team and they are coming out with a new version that will hopefully include these.

Where do I begin? They promised me a free website which we used for years, then turned around and wanted us to pay $5,000 for it. They also wanted 2% for every 3rd party booking from Viator and Get Your Guide. Support went down hill. Its not the same over there.

I have been using WaveRez for many years. They listen to what works for watersports operators. All the new features have Boat Rentals, Boat Charters, & Boat Tours in mind when it's being developed.

Pros

The strongest feature is the Matrix. It makes it easy to see what is booked, what you have available, what time slots you have left, what's checked in, what the rest of the day looks like, and more.

Cons

So far, not too many complaints. Waiting on the new version of it, as I hear it's supposed to fix alot of the minor issues.

From the first demo through present our experience has been nothing short of phenomenal. I personally value the team and their service as much as I value the platform itself. The platform is amazing but the team pushes it to the next level!

Pros

The team! The entire staff shares a common goal of helping your business vs selling you a product. There is no such thing as a dumb quesion or a problem they can't solve. The platform it self is constantly growing with new features and offerings! Everything is extremely well thought out and easy to use. Feedback is graciously accepted and changes are made in a timely manner.

Cons

I really haven't found any cons to write about. Every single hole i've been able to poke in this product was quickly repaired with a great solution!

WaveRez has streamlined our operations, boosted our revenue, and made life easier for everyone on our team. We’ve tested other systems before, but this one blows them all out of the water. Highly recommend for any watersports or tour business looking to scale and simplify.

Pros

Built for watersports! Waverez gets the unique needs of watersports and boat tour operators. Its intutive and tailored to our workflow on a 133 passenger dolphin cruise boat. Mobile friendly for guest and staff. Crew can check the manifest, check in guest and adjust any bookings right from their phone. One the best vendor support help desk around, with lots of helpful videos detailing how to do anything you want to adjust in Waverez. Integration with Waivers, Text Alerts, and More! All the extras that make the guest experience smoother and more professional. Revenue Boosting Tools We’ve seen a major increase in online bookings, upsells, and customer retention thanks to their built-in tools.

Cons

Learning curve at the start like any robust system but have plenty of help from the online chat and videos to navigate everything that I wanted to adjust.

I’ve been with Wave Rez since the beginning. I have a great relationship with all of their employees and their \[sensitive content hidden\]. Being on wave Rez has allowed me to expand my business to multiple locations in multiple cities.

Pros

It is a perfect fit for my business. Customer Service is great. Being on wave Rez gives me the ability to more efficiently book multiple locations.

Cons

It’s not free🤪 No JK I really don’t have anything bad to say about Wave Rez. They offer a great product at a reasonable price.

So far so goo, the onboarding was pretty smooth as I am not good with technology. I made it very clear that i would need my hand held through this process and they delivered.

Pros

Waverez is very much about its clients, listening to our needs and assisting with all aspects of our industry.

Cons

Switching from Fareharbor to waverez was definitely a changeand took time to get used to. My biggest complaint is every time you do something on waverez like checking someone in it reloads the page.

Fareharbor fee got pricey, and their costumer service for small businesses went down hill

I love the WaveRez now and it is only going to get better every year. They have a public roadmap and you can see all of the stuff they are working on which is going to enhance the platform even more. If you are in water sports, I definitely recommend taking a look at WaveRez.

Pros

Compared to come other reservation software, WaveRez was specific to our boat rental companies needs. He are a high volume company, and the "matrix" that they use for daily resource management is way better than any other company that I have used, and I have tried all of the major reservation systems. If you are a boat tour, boat rental, or jetski company, WaveRez is the best way to go. The other plus is that they are a smaller company, which means they can make changes to the platform very quickly, and the chances of getting something specific for your businesses added to the platform is greater than dealing with the larger companies.

Cons

Most of everything that I don't like about WaveRez is very minor. The plus is that they are about to release V2 in a few months and that will fix any issues I have had with the platform.
