November 12, 2025 4.0 I’ve had a great experience switching to Zeffy and look forward to seeing what cool, free features they add next! Pros The fact that this product is free to use is incredible. Being able to process payments online so seamlessly without being charged an arm and a leg (in fact without being charged a cent!) is a fundraising game changer for small non-profits like ours! The interface is very user friendly, intuitive even, and extracting data from campaigns is quick and easy. With their new POS app that can be downloaded onto any phone, they’ve saved us the need to purchase a square reader: staff and volunteers can just download the app and begin scanning tickets or taking donations! Cons The product is still new so it doesn’t have quite as many features as other similar products. However, they are highly responsive to customer feedback and constantly adding new features to meet the evolving needs of the non-profit community. The tutorials that are available are quite helpful, and when I did need to contact them with a question they reponded promply and resolved it for me. Pros Software is easy to use and navigate. Very short learning curve. The ability to collect funds for free without the trouble of collecting and depositing checks or cash was the strongest selling point. Cons We were collecting dues in $30 increments. The default fee to the members was relatively high. September 17, 2025 5.0 Zeffy has allowed me to free up cognitive bandwidth by automating things like tax receipts, donation deposits, closing sales and scheduling other features. Those little things matter! I love the CRM-like features that assist with communications. I love that I can do so much in one place, within one system. I would pay for a for-profit version of this same system, and I'm actively seeking a close alternative for for-profits. Pros Everything in one place: donor information, financial information, fundraising & email campaign management. I love that Zeffy automatically transfers deposits to the bank, and I can set it to automatically send Tax receipts. The CRM -like features make it easy to segment audiences for communications, and makes smart recommendations. I love that I was given an unsolicited website overview for how to maximize Zeffy's platform. That's initiative! All this and the help center is good too! Easy to use & Free! Cons Sometimes I wish there was a little bit more design/editing access for campaign tools, but this is minor. Mostly, I love this platform! Saving us $100s is worth a bit of extra work on my end. Pros I love that Zeffy is a user friendly, intuitive platform with a very small learning curve. We use it to fundraise for our PTA and it helps us put all of the money we raise, back into our school, instead of paying credit card fees. We have already saved over $200 in just 2 months due to not paying all of the fees we would pay on most other platforms. Also, the chat option has helped me find exact information in reports that I am looking for! Cons I wish I could filter and sort the reports a bit easier as far as custom questions go. We are using this for our PTA and the reports get a bit complicated when we are asking for student's names and their teacher. I also am confused by getting one email (not sure how) and then getting a second different email that the user manually types in....? " August 20, 2025 5.0 Anytime I don’t understand something it’s pretty easy to figure it out using their help guides. It’s really quite user friendly and self explanatory though! Overall we have had a great experience! Pros Zeffy has LOTS of options for non profits. We are a new non profit that supports our small school district, and we weren’t really sure what we were doing when we started fundraising. So far Zeffy is the only thing we have used, so we don’t know any different and we will not be changing because it has everything we need! Love that it sends out tax receipts for us automatically. Love alllllll the amazing settings for hosting an event and selling tickets- whole tables, early bird tickets/tickets with different release dates, etc. So many options to customize it to just what you need. And most of all, it doesn’t cost us a DIME so that all of our funding goes right to our mission! The few times I did need help I was able to get that from the help center and even then someone from Zeffy followed up with an email to make sure I got everything I needed. I also really like the tax exempt forms which are automatically created when our supporters donate. Pros Zeffy is free, so that is the first thing. The platform is very user-friendly and anything I did not understand I could get guidance from the help or online chat. I also really like the ability to accept electronic payments with ease, the ease of creating campaigns and it really provides a very professional look for our organization. Cons I can't think of anything that I currently do not like. Zeffy has given us the opportunity to have 100% of our donations go directly to us and the customer has the choice to provide a "tip", which is how Zeffy makes a profit. It is a "win, win". I am new to our school's PTA and I took on the task of setting up a new payment platform for our fundraising because the one we used in the past had very high fees. I feel so happy I stumbled across Zeffy because they helped make what I thought would be a confusing and difficult task into something so easy and really beneficial to our school. Pros The forms are very easy to use and worked perfectly for our fundraising event. We are using a combination of ticketed event forms and donation forms. I love that they have options for automatic tax receipts, thank you emails, reminder emails, the ability to add and even require short answer questions with specific purchases, and options to add notes to any order. I also love the data we can export to excel - specifically the weekly payout details and all the information for each purchase. I also like that we have the ability to scan e-tickets for check in! Customer service has also been so helpful and friendly. I have never set up a payment platform before and I have spoken with customer service and emailed them several times and my interactions have really helped me feel confident about my choice in Zeffy. Cons I have not come across any problems with using Zeffy for our event! September 10, 2025 5.0 Positive, fulfilling, no worries, I know they have my back. Very responsive, almost in real time, which is unheard of these days. Pros Zeffy has a lot going for it. The platform is robust, easy to navigate, and full of excellent features. New donations/sales are reported as they occur, a summary of new transactions is provided weekly along with all transactions to date, and a deposit notice is also provided weekly. Communications are terrific, with a live human response usually within an hour or two. And any suggestions I have made to improve the experience have been accepted quickly and sent to the creative department. Cons I can't think of anything, which even amazes me. It's every non-profit's dream and an answer to prayer. To be able to receive money easily from anywhere in the world-free was almost too good to be true. But, it is true! Pros The accounting is clear, timely and accurate, we get all the funds that our donors send to us plus annual reports and the support team is very responsive! Cons 1\. That usingthe bank transfer method costs a lot of money - more than the regular route. 2. Some of our donors are abit put off by the appeal from Zeffy for their own use.
