They have a great team who respond to questions in a timely manner and they continue to work on improvements to the platform. Pros SimplyK is a free platform where 100% of the donors funds stays with the charity. As a small charity, that means a lot to us and it was the reason we decided to give it a try. It's easy for donors to use, fairly simple to set it up and offers various options including peer-to-peer and ticketing. Cons SimplyK has made many improvements this past year. As a user of other peer-to-peer platforms, there are some things they can do to improve it for the user during setup. I believe they will make further adjustments and am pleased with their response to my recommendations. Reason for choosing Zeffy Our agency wanted to give the platform a try and the decision was made as there are no fees withheld from donations. Je n'ai que des bons mots pour Zeffy. Mes membres trouvent l'utilisation facile aussi. Pros Le site est très convivial. En peu de temps, mon compte était créé. Les fonctions sont faciles à enregistrer et permettent de recevoir les dons ainsi que vendre les articles promotionnels tout au même endroit. Après une heure d'utilisation, je déposais déjà sur mon site Internet le lien pour récolter les dons et tout était pré-enregistré pour émettre un reçu de bienfaisance en plus. Tout ce que cherchais était clé en main: gestion des dons, remerciement des donateurs, émission de reçus, comment mettre sur mon site Internet, vente de produits promotionnel, inscriptions automatisées... Cons Certains de mes membres n'ont pas compris que le montant supplémentaire sur la facture n'était pas des taxes mais bien un don à la plateforme. The customer support has been great. Sent them an email after hours, and got a reply back the next morning. Pros Zeffy was very easy to set up. I got it up and running in about 30 minutes to see how it worked. Once the board saw what it could do, I started configuring Zeffy for the booster club's needs. We love that our parents or the booster club does not have to pay the processing fees. This means more money going into the program to support the band members' music education. Cons They still need development in basic database function. Simple things like sorting names of purchasers is unavailable. Their email system does not allow for attachments. Les fonctionnalités sont variées et comblent grandement nos besoins. I have forwarded their information onto a few other fire company's. I wish all customer service people would be as helpful as they where to me. Pros We used Zeffy to sell tickets online for our non profit fire company event. We are first time users and I thought it was awesome. Zeffy helped us to set up the tickets when we got stuck. Cons The additional and optional amount to to be added to payments to support Zeffy can be confusing for customers. It appears to be mandatory. It would also be helpful to provide a range of contribution options. Make people feel part of supporting Zeffy for the benefit of the charities using the platform. Having the ability to fundraise without incurring steep processing fees is critical to our mission.We were easily able to create an event page and follow the purchases of attendees. Great platform and will definitely use it for future fundraising events. Cons Can't think of any cons with Zeffy! The only thing for our customers is the automatic contribution amount at checkout - we understand this is how Zeffy is able to provide zero fee platform but the automatic amount can be confusing for some customers. Zeffy's model is specifically for nonprofits, and they don't take a cent from any funds passing through their system. Instead, they ask each individual donor for a small donation. Pros We have saved hundreds of dollars over the past six months using Zeffy instead of PayPal and Square. Tracking donations and registration is easy; I even get to see who has visited the website every time I check in, whether or not they completed a transaction. Customer service has also been great.
