No costs to organization. Excellent support. Cons Most features are very simplified and don't always fit our needs. Zeffy is very good at making work arounds to accommodate but some elements should be built in. ex. partial refunds. The site is extremely user friendly, and the support staff has been phenomenal. Pros Loved the fact that we could use Zeffy without any start-up costs or ongoing costs. It was super easy to set-up our class reunion site to sell tickets AND allow our classmates to contribute to our school's 501(c) nonprofit organization. Cons The event time on our emailed ticket confirmations was incorrect, causing purchasers to wonder if they did something wrong or if the published event time was wrong. We are using it for our very first fundraiser. That's tickets, items in our silent auction (with a way to do IRS receipts for amount over market value) and donations. Everything just works! And on the donor side, we've had no issues with people contacting us saying they couldn't figure out how to make a payment. Very impressed. Cons There were a few features that were not operation (like using an individual SSN vs. EIN even though the help tab said that was possible). But overall, it did everything we needed it to do! We needed a way to build forms with their shirt sizes, years of experience etc., as well as receive payments at the same time, and Zeffy does just that. It's helped our nonprofit achieve more faster than we expected! Pros Zeffy is an incredible platform for our small nonprofit. We're able to save on donation fees, which is a huge burden lifted. And they offer SO MUCH MORE than I was expecting! They can handle event tickets, online shop items, raffles and even memberships. Zeffy has allowed us to set up programs faster and easier than imagined, all with embeded forms so we maintain branding. Pros The fee-free fundraising was the biggest reason I opted to use Zeffy for our nonprofit and I am so glad we did. We expected to need $5K in fundraising for the first six months of organization. It has served us extremely well and has allowed us to fundraise over $1K in just two months. Customer service has been very reliable, too! Thanks so much! Pros The fact that it is FREE for us is the number 1 reason we chose to trial Zeffy's software/platform. Our charity is comprised of just a few volunteers, so using donated dollars wisely is of utmost importance. Cons Some of our donors have had a challenge navigating the campaigns being told they must use a PayPal account. The simplicity of creating an event form and a volunteer form, donating to our organization in general is also very easy to do. Pros The ability to create our own form to fit our needs. Customer support was very responsive to my questions and put me at ease before we launched our registration form. We also love the "no transaction fee". It is very difficult to find, if not impossible, to find an option that doesn't require a piece of the pie (so to speak). When it comes to a non profit that 100% goes back to the community, every dollar counts. Cons Although I appreciate the feature to donate to Zeffy to help pay for costs. I do not like the fact that it is not a removable question for our registration form. Our event is $400 per registration, so the form defaulting to add another $40+ is very misleading and possibly upsetting to our registrants. If I ever run into a challenge or have a question, staff are quick to respond, encouraging and support in assisting to ensure everything is set up correctly. Pros The staff support is top notch; the platform is user friendly, the fees are covered which is a huge benefit for non profits so that every dollar goes to the campaign need. It's easy to use and enables us to have all our art class events in one spot with access to registrations, sales, etc. The support team is great to work with and listens to our feedback! But for sure the best part is that there are no fees for our organization, which is so important for Not-For-Profit organizations. Pros Simplyk's ticket registration process is perfect for the Arts classes that we offer. It manages the registration process for us and keeps track of sales/registrations at no cost to our organization....not even credit card fees! Cons The software firm is easy to deal with and has incorporated a lot of our suggestions in their product, however we would like to see a process where we can stop and start sales on certain dates and also the ability to customize registration emails and reminder emails with greater ease. But we are seeing improvements every week as they put more thought into this product.
