Owner Retail Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Great company to use " April 7, 2023 5.0 It's was wonderful and so easy to use Pros I had to ship a package and I didn't have time to get to the bank to deposit money but had promised a customer the package I was sending within a day or 2 so I had to get it in the mail asap. I used there free trial which made it possible to get the package out that same day and it was so easy to print out the label and get it out. Cons They really made things so easy that I can't say anything bad about shipsaving. Pros I really like that I can purchase USPS first class mail labels at a discounted price. Not a lot of softwares allow you to even be able to purchase the first class mail labels and that is something that I appreciate from ShipSaving. Cons I wish that I was able to import a spreadsheet of addresses and package details to purchase labels in bulk. So far it's on my list of permanent solutions but not sure if it's the one I'll stick with or not. Pros No limit on labels you can generate with a free plan. Cons Interface is lacking and clunky compared to Shippo, on par with PirateShip Free plan does not let you make multiple labels at once or change settings like weights or shipping classes. Shipments are not categorized as "online purchases" which means I get less credit card rewards than I did on Shippo. Not sure if this would change on a prepaid plan. Keeping track of orders is very simple through ShipSaving. It was easy to get refunded when I made a mistake on a label. I know from a lot of research that ShipSaving's prices are the same or lower than other similar services, and also much easier to track and obtain. As someone who does a lot of shopping around, I'm very happy with ShipSaving. Cons The only thing that would make it better is if it integrated with Squarespace, but that's a minor detail. On top of that, I use ShipSaving over a similar competitor because it provides label QR codes for USPS packages. This allows me to ship without a printer at home. Copying addresses and uploading tracking isn't nearly as seamless as it could be if this were integrated. It is always up and running (anytime and anyday of the week.) It is a user-friendly website. Cons I forgot I had to change my debit card through my bank. ShipSaving kept rejecting my debit card when processing my orders after the expiration date on the card was changed. Sometimes, as a business owner, you need to remember specific details. It would have been nice to receive an email from ShipSaving advising me to check my debit card information. You provide exact same service. Thus no one has specific advantages. As a user, I will only choose the cheapest option. I like its nice and friendly UI, clear instructions, and price/tracking services are all very clear. One thing you can improve is for first-time users having a better experience with adding payment method. Pros I think the best feature is that it's very clear how to proceed and where to find what I need. Also the website's UI and UX is great. Cons Oh, I remember the first time I tried to add credit card as payment method, it just kept failing for like five times. I almost gave up. I also tried debit card but it didn't go through as well. The software is pretty straight forward and the address book is very handy. 1 cent per label is a cheap cost to not having to stand in line at the post office. Cons Sometimes the printer is not detected and I have to manually go in to fix the issue. Luckily if you open the label in a different tab, then you don't have to go through the process of redoing the label. Sometimes the actual carrier charge is more than quoted and they do not alert you that you have been charged the difference.
