Upgrading to using a more advanced system from phone and email bookings is great for the venue once you adapt to it and learn how to use the system fully - the amount of customisation you can use is the biggest strength in using it.

Pros

Takes all the hassle off the venue with people phoning or emailing for bookings - streamlined and organised all in one place - block outs / event options etc help to customise any given day where we need to be flexible with bookings.

Cons

A lot of back end options that take time to figure out how to execute features with the system - get there in the end but just takes some trial and error to figure out what you want to do

10/10 once set up cannot fault it, has saved countless hours on the phone as well as picking up bookings during peak periods where calls would otherwise be missed

Pros

Great value, and saves so much time, not just with bookings but with basic questions, Pays for it self jut by capturing bookings during peak periods

Cons

Without just saying everything is great, somethings can be tricky, for example special opening hours (mothers day) can be tricky to manage

I can only recommend Now Book It to any cafes or restaurants considering a booking system. We have run events and every day operations with Now Book It efficiently and it supported our business.

Pros

Customer support is responsive and helpful. Easy to use for events and everyday reservations. Gift vouchers process is also great

Cons

It's still a bit expensive for a tiny restaurant like ours. I know it helps securing bookings but it's still an important cost to us.

Very positive experience overall. Customer support is excellent, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever I need assistance.

Pros

I found the software easy to use, with helpful support and a clean interface. It’s also reasonably priced and good value.

Cons

The table planning is frustrating, especially dragging and dropping, and having it split into sections instead of one clear table layout.

Overall, our experience with Now Book It has been very positive. It’s a dependable system that supports both day-to-day service and larger-scale bookings across a multi-offer venue. The platform continues to evolve, and the strength of the support team gives us confidence in its ongoing development. It plays an important role in delivering a smooth and professional booking experience for our guests at the Mosaic and wider Footy Park Precinct.

Pros

The interface is intuitive for both staff and customers, making it easy to manage reservations, functions, and larger group bookings. The flexibility to tailor booking settings to suit different areas of the venue is particularly valuable. Customer support is a standout, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful when troubleshooting or implementing new features. It integrates well into our daily operations and supports a seamless guest experience.

Cons

There are some limitations around reporting and data extraction, particularly when trying to segment or analyse bookings in more detail for marketing purposes. At times, backend configuration changes can feel a little manual or time-consuming. Additional integrations or more advanced CRM capabilities would further enhance its value but believe this is in the pipeline.

Love it, our staff pick it up very quickly and even junior staff have confidence to welcome and seat guests without questioning the tables availability. It allows our team to multi skill even on weekends with casual staff

Pros

Now book it does exactly what it intended to do, make bookings easily, clean and fuss free. It’s very easy to navigate even during a busy service. We log every booking and walk in to create a seamless service. Maximising turnover of tables ensuring we never double book.

Cons

NA, if anything I’d just like to use it to its full potential, email marketing etc. But that’s user error not the system.

Been fabulous, always so helpful when help needed. From set up to daily operation this product is great for a busy restaurant, great having egift capabilities as well.

Pros

The functionality and customer service. The way it operates is very straightforward, easy to set up up and change back end.

Cons

Only downside was not being able to set dates for services, was either off or on, would be good to have date settings rather than having to do multiple blockouts.

Excellent and a good part of this comes from the support we get locally from \[sensitive content hidden\]. We have been able to utilize many of the benefits the system has to offer.

Pros

In general we find Now Book It easy to use and an affordable booking platform. The customer support is excellent whether it's solving something simple or something complex.

Cons

The only thing I'm finding frustrating at the moment, and it might be me, is when I click on TODAY as a day selection that then takes me to the calendar and I then need to click on TODAY again. One click should really do it.
