Overall, I was very impressed with Degreed. The platform is robust and very flexible. You can build pathways that are open to anyone that has an interest in a topic or you can build a pathway to assign to a specific user group as required training. That flexibility is wonderfully!

Pros

I loved the ability to build our own customized learning pathways which could consist of content that existed on the Degreed platform or our own content in practically any format we chose. The flexibility is awesome.

Cons

I didn't like that we had to subscribe to different sets of content to get access to them on the Degreed platform. Inevitably, I would find a great piece of content in the catalog only to find it was not included in our current subscriptions.

Overall I think the Degreed platform is a value-add for any organization that values continuous learning and has a workforce that spans the full spectrum from entry-level through executive leadership.

Pros

The best attribute that Degreed offers, in my opinion is the Daily Learning Digest feature. Similar to a daily alert when searching for a job or apartment rental, each morning you have an email in your inbox suggesting various videos, courses, and articles that are relevant to your skill set.

Cons

While I enjoyed the many features the Degreed platform offered, at times it can become cumbersome or confusing when trying to access what you want. For example, it's difficult to differentiate between a pathway and a role family.

Degreed offers excellent customer service, their app is user-friendly, the are constantly developing new features to make it better, and their integration process with third party content providers is seamless for the most part.

Pros

Degreed is really effective at organizing content and delivering it to employees in an engaging way. It also is easy to administer/support, especially by those with limited technical skills.

Cons

Degreed is like a smart TV, it's only as valuable as the content services you pay for to watch on the platform. So if your company has very little content, Degreed won't be a great choice compared to other similar products in the market. Being an LXP, its best suited at playing the role of middle-man between your employees and the content providers you use.

強いて言うならば、小規模のエンタープライズでオンライン学習のリソースが少ない場合、１つのプラットフォームに統合するメリットが失われる。

I like the tool very much, Im using it to develop myself and my team. I recommend to anyone that has a goal to improve and develop.

Pros

Creating a learning pathway is great to see how you are developing and follow the checklist. It is center for me.

Cons

I like the learning pathway but it is a little difficult to use sometimes. The selection of content should be easier, for example adding a checkbox without sending to the list of selected.

Pros

\- Using simple data points through passive and active data collection, the content is uniquely tailored to the user's interests and needs. - Well designed, lots of whitespace to encourage focused exploration. - A great way to track your professional progress in many fields and skills - The daily emails are also very relevant and actionable - a great way to start your day!

Cons

\- No cons due to the product itself - the one thing I would say is that the content push could be even a little more aggressive! I don't know what that looks like as a feature per se, but since this content/task is often taken "when I have time", it's easy to say (unfortunately) "I don't have time". Which is a false narrative.

Pros

\- The gamification effect is real - it's definitely been an extra incentive for me to go out and keep up my development. - Chrome extension is really helpful for encouraging use - Creation of pathways is a nice simple way to set up cross-media training plans

Cons

\- Category feed (at least for me) has not been hugely relevant, and there is not much I can do to customise it. - The scoring of different learning resources can be hit and miss. If something is behind a paywall Degreed seems unable to gauge it's length and will assign it a low score. - No way to easily re-categorise something as e.g. an article, and not a video - Would love greater analytics e.g. to see how my team are progressing
