It is a useful and easy-to-navigate app, but the location restrictions and process for correcting missed punches could be more flexible. I have also used Paylocity as an RBT and appreciate being able to correct or submit missed punches more easily. With a few improvements, OnTheClock could be much more convenient for employees who work across multiple locations. Pros The app is straightforward and easy to use for basic clocking in and out. The interface is simple and generally works well for tracking work hours. Cons I did not like being unable to clock out when outside of the designated location. As an RBT, workdays can involve moving between clients and locations, so it can be easy to forget to clock out during a busy transition. I wish there were an easier way to submit or correct missed punches directly in the app rather than requiring additional communication for a simple mistake. Easy to add and remove employees, easy to track employees time off requests as well as their balances they have left. Pros Great value, easy to use and our employees find the time sheets easy to use as well. I never had to use an app to clock in so I’m glad this was the first app I got to use! Pros How easy it was to use and how I was able to add punches and fix if I missed lunch. It really made clocking in and calculating hours a breeze Cons The location thing made me feel kinda of odd especially since I’d work from home some days. I also didn’t like that it didn’t have an option for you to get a reminder if you clocked out for your lunch. If that became an option that’d be so helpful. I don’t have a very powerful impact from the app but it is very helpful. Pros Easy to use. Easy to navigate on the app. Everything is clear and understanding. No confusion. Timesheets. Cons I like least is employee management. Other than that I don’t really have any other cons. Everything else was great.
