### "Reliable Scheduling Software"

Pros

Over the 6+ years I have been using this software it has been consistently reliable and for the most part, easy to use by my clients, which is extremely important. When I started with them online scheduling was still not industry standard and clients loved being able to schedule at all hours, the confirmation and reminder emails, and I love eliminating all the back and forth emailing. As online scheduling has become the standard it is their helpful features like accessible customer support, collection of online reviews, and simple interface that have kept me loyal.

Cons

My biggest complaint is that they walk clients through scheduling in a slightly different order than I woud choose if I was fully customizing my own scheduling software. In addition, while I appreciate the new regular addition of new features, it sometimes feels as if they come out half-baked. For instance, the new waitlist function is helpful, but it is still missing functionality that would make it truly excellent and allow me to be almost fully hands-off with my waitlist.

### "Works well with Google"

Pros

There are a lot of scheduling programs out there, but Genbook's verified customer reviews boost my SEO and make me stand out in Google searches. Clients can book directly from Google, which means fewer clicks and fewer barriers to acquiring new bookings.

Cons

Unfortunately, there is no medical charting system integrated with the system. There's no easy way to track packages, except using the notes section in a customer profile. Users cannot exempt any services from the optimizer discounts. Users cannot make it optional for customers to pre-pay for services - it's either required or not. The desktop version of Genbook Book Now button and the customer interface look outdated.

### "I love it and so do my clients!"

Pros

When you're a solo practitioner, you are chief cook and bottle washer. So having Genbook available to my clients to book their appointment directly is a time saver, and a new customer saver. I cannot always get to the phone and I don't miss new clients when they can book directly online. The other nice thing is the customer review integration. They are easily accessed via a browser search, which again, helps me win new customers.

Cons

There are occasional outages. This is true for just about any online service. I am happy to say the outages are few and far between.

### "Excellent Product"

My experience with Genbook has been fantastic. It takes scheduling and following up with patients out of my hands. Everything is done automatically. Patients love it. Genbook fits seamlessly with my version of a low stress chiropractic office. It's a big part of accomplishing my vision.

Pros

The ability of my patients to be able to schedule using an app versus a web browser has been huge. Everybody is on their smart phones and it's much easier to navigate using apps.

Cons

I can't change the scheduling lead time of each individual service. Some services I want to allow people to schedule immediately. Some I don't. Genbook is currently set to only allow an overall lead time for all services.

### "Best Virtual Secretary Ever!"

Saves time with scheduling and phone tag. Clients can book and review sessions on their own which makes our team focus on the important part, service.

Pros

The ease of use both for myself and customers.

Cons

Wish I could turn on accepting new customers/not accepting new customers for my employees, otherwise anyone can book with them even when they dont want new clients

I like how it is very user friendly from a customer's perspective. Also, the company strives to improve its products and takes user's feedback into consideration. If I have any issues, customer service is very responsive and helpful!

Cons

I understand that this software isn't geared towards just medical, but having SOAP notes would be amazing.

### "Just what I wanted"

Overall my experience has been positive and I have been happy with it/

Pros

The auto review request feature has made it really easy to collect reviews and they show up in a google search for my company. It would be wonderful if somehow this feature could integrate posting a review to multiple locations besides just on genbook

Cons

For awhile it didn’t have multiple clinic locations but it finally does. Also, that it doesn’t really integrate well with my other platforms.

### "Great Product, Easy to use, Helpful Customer Service"

I have used this software for over 10 years. I love the way the company keeps evolving and adding features, as well as notifying us when they do. I also find customer service easy to talk to and helpful when I need them.

Pros

I like that every time I have had an issue the customer service department is quick to respond. They are very helpful and always check in after to make sure the issue was resolved.

Cons

It is challenging to separate out notifications by employee, also challenging to navigate using 2 treatment rooms. There is no group event (yoga class) option.

I like that this software is always updating and ensuring that we're able to use it with ease.

Cons

My only complaint is that the updates come years after other software apps have been updated to most functions and it comes at a cost(price increase).

Pros

Easy for me to use, and my clients love it, simple easy for them to use and understand the software. Love the customer. Talk to Someone personally over the phone, any issues. Not tech savvy. Nice someone who. Is patience with questions.

Cons

Love to be able to provide service for workshop bookings and retreats. For when I teach classes.

### "Solid Scheduling Software"

Overall, I have had a very good experience with Genbook. It has been a good solution for us to schedule several doctors, two massage therapists, and a hyperbaric chamber.

Pros

I like that I can schedule patients from any computer and from my phone. It is simple to use once set up properly. I love that it will send out reminders before appointments. I love that I can have a button to direct people from my website and other sites to schedule.

Cons

It is not as easy as I would like to set up various services. In fairness, I don't know how it could be made simpler but it seems like it could be. It has been buggy a few times in the past which is frustrating when you can't even look at the schedule.

### "Crucial tool"

Genbook has been a crucial tool that I use daily. I love that it is easy to use for both me and clients. It saves me so much time as I cant really talk on the phone as I am working so the fact that clients can book online, get reminders and reschedule themselves if needed, has made it much easier on me.

Pros

Easy to use. I can store and access client formulas from that days appointment. Genbook was easy to integrate into my current website.

Cons

The ability for clients to book multiple services at the same time wasn't available until recently. Would like to be able to add a stylist at the price for an individual as there are many free appointment apps for individuals, although I have stuck with Genbook.

### "Dependable and easy system!"

Genbook has been instrumental in managing my business. I always refer it when I can.

Pros

Genbook is instrumental to my business and helps me to manage calendars between my clients, employees and personal schedule. I am seamlessly able to utilize all tools provided by Genbook and it's system. I am new to the Waiting List feature and am looking forward to using it. My clients are also able to book their own appointments, which is something many have noted (in person) as an advantage to my business.

Cons

The Genbook Manager app is not as seamless as the desktop site, which is a downfall for me, as I like to use my phone. I also wish there was an iPad friendly version of the app.

### "Really happy."

Very Good. I get great feedback from customers that we have an online scheduler that doesn't require them to have an app or a login/password. I love this too.

Pros

All the bell's and whistles. Ease of use. Lots of options for various operators. Client reminders.

Cons

What the client sees on their side is cumbersome looking. Would like Genbook to use Square for deposits rather that Stripe. Needs more space for service descriptions.

It has the most options for details like numerous operators, lots of ways to set up the menu of services, ways to block staff, etc.

The ease of use and access for my clients to book appointments anytime from anywhere. Also, I appreciate the automatic appointment reminders as well as review requests. Genbook saves me time and money and benefits my clients as much as it benefits my business.

Cons

Sometimes it can be confusing/ complicated when a client may book with a variation on their name (or using a nickname v. full name) and I’m not able to merge them into one customer file.

Overall I have been pleased. Customer service has always been very fast!

Pros

The ability to give clients the direct link to my calendar. I also love the review option, especially now that it's connected to Google. Text reminders have also been a great addition.

Cons

The inability to add European/international phone numbers. Clients being asked to submit a review too often and the app not recognizing clients who have already submitted a review. The app also does not always update properly on phones.

Price point seemed fair for what I was needing. My main requirement was client reminders.

### "Grow your Business!"

The biggest benefit is the ability to book appointments when I'm not available to answer/return calls. If I'm with a client, at the movies, asleep, whenever I cannot be reached, my clients always have access to my schedule online.

Pros

Convenience. Ease of use. Clients able to book appointments without contacting me directly.

Cons

Maybe a text option for appointment reminders? But I also assume that will cost more to provide.

### "Tour Booking"

It has been a huge step in reducing "paperwork" as we track our appointments and tours. There was a learning curve at first and many customers still called in to book there tours, but over time and with better placement on our website, the phone calls are diminishing in regards to setting tours, which saves us time!

Pros

I love that I can make notes after each appointment, including if the appointment no showed. I like that I can click directly on the calendar date to set the day or time as away quickly if something comes up!

Cons

I would like to be able to access my customer info in a spreadsheet form so that I could print mailing labels if I wanted to mail them about an upcoming registration.

I've been very happy overall with Genbook and the features they offer. I appreciate that they continually try to make changes to simplify things and increase usability. It is a tremendous asset to my business to have Genbook!

Pros

I really appreciate how easy Genbook is for my patients to book and manage appointments. The recent "waitlist" option has been a wonderful addition as well and it saves me time in callbacks and trying to fit others in when another person cancels. The many features and great customer service are why I have stayed with this service for years.

Cons

I think the interface is a bit outdated from what patients see to schedule an appointment.

Overall it was absolutely perfect for my client based business. Whether I had employees or not.

Pros

Online booking is the only way I do business. I do not have time for phone calls and Genbook eliminated the need. Kept client records for 13+ years, integrated with Square perfectly, easy to block off or add time to any given appointment or day, waitlist was incredibly easy for my clients to use, clients could easily manage their own appointments. The bonuses go on, but overall it was an excellent software. So bummed when they were bought out by the awful Booksy.

Cons

That it no longer exists and they chose a very poor substitution, Booksy.

### "Life Saver"

Customer Service is always quick to resolve any and all issues that may arise. I have been using Genbook for at least the last 10 years. I would never switch to another product. Im happy where I am and I'm excited about whatever new products they may come up with in the future!

Pros

The ease of setting up your business in the beginning was a breeze. Anytime I need to make a price change or create a new service it is as simple as 1, 2, 3. But I love that my clients can schedule ANY time they want and I can receive their feedback via Genbook Reviews which are easily accessible via Google.

Cons

I can't think of anything off the top of my head. 😁

### "My clients love Genbook!"

Pros

Genbook is so easy to set up and easy to change and easy for my clients to use which is most important. They love being able to schedule an appointment whenever the mood strikes, at 10pm or 3am. I love waking up each morning and seeing my schedule fill up and not having to return phone calls.

Cons

I love the review section but I think the should be sent out more often to clients that have been with me for awhile - A lot of my practice is preventative medicine and I don't want my clients to have the pressure of filling out a review after just the first session.

I like it... nothing is perfect and it has paid for itself.

Pros

The convenience of the clients scheduling themselves.

Cons

It can be glitchy... you think it was saved and it was not I would like to show a picture of the building and office door in my info...
