Pros

It is rather quick and easy to use once you get the hang of things. The inter phase is very clean and organized.

Cons

You can't always adjust formatting easily if it is just little spacing issues it isn't as easy as dragging a line up a few pixels, but it is much more complicated and much more of a headache.

Easy to use and the peace of mind that all of our communications are responsive and beautiful in our readers' inboxes.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use and teach to my colleagues. iContact is always looking to improve their products and roll out new features so it grows as our email marketing plans do. They're also open to feedback and value the input of their users.

Cons

I wish there was a summary at the end riiiiight before you send a message where you can see what lists you're sending to and what lists you've excluded. Would make the "Scheduled Messages" feature \*that much more\* functional for us.

### "One of the Better Email Marketing Softwars Out there but at a Cost"

I haven't had a problem with this system. I still continue to use it after giving up Mail Chimp and Constant Contact.

Pros

I thought it was very easy to navigate and It has a really large supply of templates, since I am not super creative, this was a plus for me. As with most email marketing softwares, you are allowed so many free emails, then you do have to pay a monthly subscription fee. I have a lot of donors in my database so I typically have to pay.

Cons

It is pricey when compared to other email marketing companies, like Mail Chimp. However, the functionality and what they offer is worth it for my purposes.

I like that it is "plug and play" and idiot-proof. I like the fact that you can customise it better and also that you can share on social media.

Cons

There are some glitches in the social media platform and a few campaign adjustments that you need to go back to the team to make but that goes to the safety and security of the features.

One-on-One support, ability to save templates, monthly projects.

Pros

It's practically point and click - if it's not, a simple phone call and it becomes that! I love having a 'person' connected to our account - so I may frequently utilize their expertise. Many other companies do NOT offer phone help - which is a deterrent.

Cons

I do wish integrating forms into our website is easier - but it seems to be a hassle. Mainly because we've spent over a year creating our own forms to find out it isn't compatible with iContact. We're working on a solution but it is tiresome.

Pros

The design team and the ease of designing an email blast is great. You can make a design template in a matter of minutes, and if you need something fancy, you contact the design team and they will do it for you!

Cons

I have never had any issues with this software and have nothing negative to say. Great software that I continue to use!

So easy to use. I love the editors and the workflows so much! With workflows, you can do so many intelligent actions

Cons

It really doesn't have many cons. I wish I could track conversion sign ups off which emails went out or links clicked. I really need this!

iContact is very useful tool for business, We used it for email marketing in our business. By using it no need to design template for email. we can select template and customize it by drag and drop feature. It is best for business ROI. It is best software for mass emails. It is very useful for business promotion by emails. We can create multiple templates according to purpose of business. It has advance feature of multi user accessibility, drag and drop editor. We can integrate with other tools easily.

Cons

There are lot of features in base plan but we can not create landing page in lower plan. It's user interface need to improve.

Pros

Rapid distribution is helpful, particularly when time is of the essence- as in an announcement that is time sensitive.

Cons

Limited framework of colors, boxes, etc. The former software had more flexibility in layout. When the changeover was made, the help desk was booked a week out.

The ease of using inside SF CRM system for data . It makes creating our data lists easy and segmentation on purchase history.

Cons

Not very dynamic. Had to do double the work when creating an email to get it into SF. Design of content was not easy compared to other systems.

Cons

I would like it if the search function was more robust. In addition, there are times that what I see on my screen is not how it looks when I send it to myself to Q.C. I tend to keep layouts simple to avoid this challenge.

contact list management, mass mailing coordination, variety in email templates and functions (plain text, html, etc), AB testing on emails, and reporting on read/click-throughs.

Pros

The ease of use iContact offers made jumping in quick. HTML emailing and contact list management keep it at the top of my list for managing communication. Customer service is responsive and thorough, solving both my immediate need, and having the foresight to address potential questions / issues.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of much, but if I had to pick something, probably the contact field management can get a bit clunky.

They have helped us with our email cleanup, reputation cleanup, new strategies, etc.

Pros

The new editor, as well as the customer support team. We have a dedicated representative with whom we have monthly calls. Our rep is always bringing new strategies to our company.

Cons

Sometimes is can be cumbersome to edit, but better with the new editor. I do wish you could use the new editor even with using your own HTML-coded message.

Pros

I was able to learn this quickly. We were preparing for a webinar and we needed a marketing tool. The output looks good and we were up an running very quickly.

Cons

Integration with CRM did not have the full capabilities we were exploring. Ideally, we wanted to take bounced emails and update them.

Pros

Easy to upload images and implement them into theme. I also like the templates provided as they give format tips for several ideas.

Cons

Looks one way on my Mac then different on my boss's PC and surface. We also have a few issues having it format the same on our Microsoft Outlook 365 emails as it did on GMail.

We are able to send mass e-mails on a tight budget.

Pros

iContact is really good at the basics. It's easy to get mass e-mails out to people, and it's a good cost on the platform. It has great customer service, a good amount of templates, and does well at spam-checking.

Cons

iContact has a decent learning curve. Be prepared to train people that are going to use it. Also, if you are running multiple lists, people count for each list. So if you have 100 subscribers subscribed to 2 different list, iContact will count it as 200 subscribers. Not a bad thing, just something to be aware of when pricing.

Easy to use Great analytics Great tech support Sign up forms and welcome messages

Pros

A couple of things make iContact exceptional. The ease of creating/designing an email blast is amazing, whether I am creating from scratch or utilizing their templates. I also love their sign up forms. Our company uses them for contests/giveaways and it will automatically add them to the list of your choice, making the count and drawing portion of the contest easy.

Cons

There aren't too many things that I don't like about iContact, but about the only complaint or even a suggestion would be to enable a feature so that you can send out an email individually.

There are other more-integrated models that make work more efficient. I would recommend those models instead of iContact. The features all work, but applications like Network for Good make things easier, faster, more efficient for me.

Pros

Things worked fine. If you don't use the software frequently, it can be hard to master. I wish the layout was a bit easier to work with, but it is not terrible. The platform does what it says it can do in the advertising.

Cons

I had to double enter a lot of info with my fundraising software and then to i-contact. There was a lack of integration that I found frustrating. Leaving iContact was a pain also. My organization signed a contract for annual subscription, so I assumed we would have to re-upp at the end of each year. That is pretty typical. It turned out though, the fine print of the contract says that customers must specifically put in a cancellation in writing. Even though the charity I worked with started using another service, iContact demanded payment for a period of time after we had made the switch. I personally found that in poor taste. Other subscription models I am familiar with don't do that. Be better than that, iContact.

This product made it far easier to implement email marketing for a client who had never used email marketing in the past. They were skeptical of the benefits, but iContact made it easy for them to understand what email marketing can do for their company.

Pros

iContact is easy to use, very intuitive and user-friendly. Where other email marketing programs fall short, iContact excels. From staff support to constant improvements to their platform to keep ahead of marketing trends, they've got the total package!

Cons

I've not run into any negatives - iContact has an awesome product, a great team and some of the best user features out there.

It gives us the opportunity to create polished pieces quickly and effectively. We have moved from using this as strictly communications and information sharing to marketing. Love the CSR -- I have learned so much from ours!

Pros

Easy to use,especially for a small non-profit staff that wants polished pieces in very little time! Also, the cusotmer service I get with iContact is unlike any other provider that I use. I have been very happy with it and our CSRs (past and present).

Cons

There are a couple little bugs with out iContact and Outlook work togehter, but I think that is an Outlook issue.
