“It took a following week of troubleshooting with multiple levels of tech support to discover those issues were irreconcilable and that DemandForce literally could not work for us whether or not we had liked the service (it makes no sense to pay for a service that could not connect phone calls to us in one of our locations). Once we notified them of our need to discontinue the service (within 2 weeks of going live) we were told that we had gone over the 2 month evaluation period and we would have to see what could be done to get out of the 24 month long contract.“

I like that so many marketing operations like email marketing, texting, reactivation and more are automized with ease in one location.

Cons

I don't like that the postcards aren't very customizable and their templates aren't the best looking. They are little dated and you can't change text on front.

This software is outdated and there are much more efficient options I would recommend for veterinary clinics.

Pros

Automated appointment and wellness reminders created less work for staff

Cons

There wasn't a way to block off appointment times so clients would frequently request appointments during lunch hours or surgery blocks. It also had tons of bugs and would constantly unsync with our practice software.

Pros

Ease of the install and automation of the correspondence with patients. The customer service was always wonderful when we did have to call in as well.

Cons

They started to branch out into other fields too quickly and most of the information we were receiving was no longer related to the dental field.

I would say we are creating more problems rather than alleviating any.

Pros

They did in fact send out texts for patient reminders on a reliable basis.

Cons

It automatically recalls every patient who hasn't been seen in 2 years and there is no way to tailor it. You may have seen a child with a wart 2 years before and it sends a text that he/she needs to come in. This has overcrowded our schedule with patients we don't need to see. When we talked to them about this they said they would "work on it." One year later and we went with another company.

### "Not user friendly, hard to navigate, no support"

Pros

I'm not too crazy about any part of this software. It has declined over the time span that we've worked with it--and the customer service has gotten worse. Word is that they were bought by a company that specializes in retail and not healthcare, so that wasn't good for us.

Cons

DemandForce is hard to navigate, is not user friendly, and is not customizable. In order to be a customer/patient management and communication system, it has to be customizable and flexible and it is not. There are many other options out there that provide the customization and flexibility businesses need and want.

### "Avoid demand force! "

Customer service was horrible. When I spoke with them regarding services that had not been happening, they passed it off. A large amount of revenue was lost for several months.

Pros

I liked the ease of use and the confirmations for appointments. It also is a great reputation builder.

Cons

Can’t take reviews with you if you discontinue services. Also, they did not text clients as thought. We had several very upset about not receiving text regarding past due vaccinations, etc.

Absolutely nothing except being over charged

Pros

I cannot say that there is much that I like about this at all, except when you sign up they are excited to have you, and some of they staff really do care but in my opinion that is about it

Cons

This is not a company that I recommend, our business had serious staffing issues and although we did not need there product at the timer felt pressured into trying it. When we were unable to use it we were told ok we can work with you but this is a lie, they did not work with us only cared about getting paid. Even when we cancelled it was hard and they tried to charge is more money. Stay away

Cons

It was expensive and didn't see the results we wanted to justify the amount spent in a 6 month span of time.

It was ok. Like I said, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was wonderful to work with and made my initial experience really good. But once I started at my second practice, I had a different experience.

Pros

The price was good. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] in customer service was great. I set-up and implemented this program at my last veterinary practice, and we had good success with it for years. When I changed jobs to my current practice, they were already using DemandForce, but were lied to by their customer service rep that if they were to drop DF, they would lose all of the reviews clients had left them through DemandForce. Which is absolutely not true. Anyone can download the PDF of the reviews. Then we realized after changing practice management software, that Demandforce failed to convert over 500 clients that were overdue for reminders, and stopped sending reminders to those clients for almost 2 years. The office lost a lot of income because of this.

Cons

Not as user friendly as similar services such as PetDesk. The dashboard is not as appealing or user friendly.

Overall, this software is great. Even if there is something I was unable to figure out, customer support is very accessible.

Pros

Demand force is a great tool to help manage patient retention, and communication. It saves employees time each day, by confirming appointments. It also provides patients the opportunity to leave a review on our business.

Cons

Some of the features were a little difficult to learn to use, I do think the software could be a little more user friendly.

### "Poor service and follow up"

1 review 0 helpful votes “For a contact company, difficult to contact for service!” 4/25/19 I had a training session scheduled. At the last minute the trainer called my office to cancel. My dental office was closed for the training. A message that the training had been cancelled was received there AFTER I closed my office and drove in to the office. The trainer said he hoped he hadn't wasted my time. They are paid to communicate. Why wasn't my email utilized? They are contracted to communicate to patients by email. Do they even do that? Well he did waste my time! They have not yet rescheduled the training. Passive aggressive? Poor form for a "professional " company. Professional they definitely are not. “ I'm glad I can get my complaint through Henry Schein company Don't let them waste your time

I do like the hot list feature they have.

Cons

1\. They will contact people that are not patients and tell them they are past due. (Customer service says there is nothing they can do about this) 2. They will send appointment reminders say you animal hospital appointment (we are NOT an animal hospital) 3. Can not customize save the date appointments. 4. We have had a huge increase in no shows since we signed up with this service. 5. They will send some people a ridiculous amount of reminders and some people none

Easy to communicate effortlessly with clients.

Pros

I like how this program keeps in contact with clients. You can customize how it contacts customers and sit back and it will do the work for you. Makes it simple and effortless.

Cons

I wish I could get a report sent to me monthly of the emails that are returned as undelivered. I can download a list but as far as I can tell I can just download one list of all time but would help tremendously if it could happen monthly.

Pros

It's a relatively inexpensive, no-contract option available in the Veterinary market. The idea of one-click campaigns is easy to implement.

Cons

The emails don't allow you to test links, only design. All the reviews are funneled through the DemandForce platform, when they would be more useful on Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc.

### "A frustration you don’t want to take on. "

The reason I canceled my service is that my experiences have been consistently frustrating and time consuming. I just don’t have the time or energy to keep slogging away at ridiculous issues and be charged $300 a month Canadian. Warning: Trying to cancel is also time consuming. They just ignore you unless you contact the correct person at the company who will try to talk you out of it. I called and canceled on the phone and was told I had to give them a months notice. Not true -15 days. Also beware of you are on a contract with them - don’t do it!

Pros

The reputation management appealed to me as a Public Relations professional. The reviews built a lot of credibility for my services. The demand force staff were always friendly and polite and willing to help.

Cons

Too many errors and inconvenience I had to pay for. Example one: I received an error message every time I tried to work on my files from my home office. When I called IT they couldn’t help me. Even after a password change I couldn’t access my accounts from my home office. This led to unproductive calls to the company. The problem was never addressed. It was the same issue each time I logged in from the comfort of my home office. Example two: I was unable to change my password to get into my account. The IT people gave me a temporary passcode until they could fix the issue. I wasn’t even able to get into my account using that password several weeks later which exposed my data to a security leak. They called and said the issue was resolved. When I tried to get into my account wth the IT passcode I couldn’t. The company never offered me a reimbursement either. I will not recommend them to anyone I know and I am part of a large network and soon to inform that network of how dissatisfied I am. luck with entering a new passcode. The IT password was kept as is until they could figure out what was wrong. I was unable to access my account after IT left me a message saying it was fixed because that password didn’t work. I gave up.

The Sales team and the setup team were pretty good and supportive, but in hindsight, they likely overpromised on their terms. While discussing terms for our business to join them, we received promises about the evaluation period we would be given to make sure the software met our needs, we received promises that phone hardware would be provided to us and the ownership of such would be ours, and most of all, we received promises that the software would work with our existing EHR and internet network. We immediately ran into hiccups with how the software with integrate with our EHR and we only stayed on to work through those hiccups on the promise that our evaluation period would be extended so that we could adequately try DemandForce once we got up and going. We only ran the software, once up, for 2 days before we found hiccups with the internet network. It took a following week of troubleshooting with multiple levels of tech support to discover those issues were irreconcilable and that DemandForce literally could not work for us whether or not we had liked the service (it makes no sense to pay for a service that could not connect phone calls to us in one of our locations). Once we notified them of our need to discontinue the service (within 2 weeks of going live) we were told that we had gone over the 2 month evaluation period and we would have to see what could be done to get out of the 24 month long contract. I called them out on this as I had their evaluation period extension in writing. They agreed to let us out of the contract, but told us that we would, in turn, have to pay them for the phone hardware they gave us. They promised that the phones were ours at no cost, and I was even told by the sales rep that 'we could turn around the next day and sell them if we wanted to'. Without this promise, we would not have signed on to evaluate the software. I have offered to return the phones since we don't need them since we aren't using their service, and they keep telling us that they don't take phones back and that we now have to pay for them. Ever since our notice that we need to discontinue with DemandForce, our service has been piss-poor. They never get back to me, and only send their billing team after us to collect on some ambiguous bill that does not state whether they are trying to charge us for 2 months of the service or for the phones or some combination. I've told my rep and each billing team member who calls me that we refuse to pay for what is being billed to us erroneously and/or maliciously. We keep telling them that we want to resolve this issue, but the upper-management keeps ignoring us, or otherwise, keeps sending us middle-men who can't resolve this issue in any other way than collecting money from us. I've tried resolving this issue professionally for months now, and now they are giving us notice that we will be sent to collections if we do not pay their bill. I have had a favorable opinion of DemandForce and their team until this point. And even now, I am hesitant to publicly leave bad reviews for them because they were great at trying to make their service work for our practice's unique challenges, but I cannot see many other options to get this resolved. I understood that we are too complicated for everything to work well through DemandForce, so this is not a review of their software, but rather a review of their customer support and conflict resolution. We have been clear to them from the start that we could not afford large costs associated with simple trials of the software. They have been clear in their promises that there would not be any, but apparently, that is only true if you continue with their service. They seemingly now feel that they can jump down our throats with whatever costs they can implement on us now that we've told them that we literally cannot use their services (again, even if we had absolutely wanted to). My advise: Get every single one of their promises in writing before signing onto their service. If it works for you, great! If not, don't rely on them to uphold their promises, but try, like us, to hold them to their word!

Pros

I was looking forward to the systems they have for recalls. That could have been a major game-changer for our practice.

Cons

Integration into our EHR and the service we received following our decision to discontinue trialing their software during the evaluation period we were given.
