It is quick and safe; it does its job. Pros Makes payments so much easier and faster. Payments are done instantly and most importantly in a safe manner. The app is user friendly and everything is clear, the design is neat. Cons It's somewhat complicated to get money back of your account once you've put it in. June 18, 2021 5.0 It’s been a great experience! Super easy to use and plus it provides me with a safe feeling every time I transfer money. I’ve actually used Venmo to pay for certain things. It’s amazing! Pros I am impressed and so pleased with Venmo! I’ve been using it to send money to my mom, since she’s been away from home receiving medical treatment. It’s become the easiest and safest way to transfer her some economical help. It’s done in within minutes and done through the phone! It’s just so practical, it saves me a lot of time and effort, I just love it! Cons There’s nothing I dislike about Venmo. I really like the app and service they provide to the users. Pros venmo is an efficient app to transfer money between users. most of my peers use it, and funds are available in the venmo account instantly without an extra fee. Cons i haven't personally experienced this problem, but some of my friends have been locked out of their accounts with no way to access the funds, even after contacting support. I have a small amount of capital stuck in venmo that I have no idea how to get out and I can't get an answer from anyone in customer service to assist me and how to get my money out. Pros There wasn't much that I liked about this software it was full of glitches and run around clickbait. The ads were outrageous so I can't really say there was anything that I liked about this application. I uninstalled it and started using another service. Cons This software is very hard to use the interface is not user friendly you don't know how to get your money out. When you sign and you are brought to a screen that tells you your balance but there is no way to access it or make a payment or anything it pretty much leaves you sitting at a screen with the amount of money you have that you can't use. I have never had a problem locating withdrawing or paying with my PayPal account. Venmo was uninstalled and put in the trash can. Pros I like how simple it is to look for others and to add them. I also like the added security feature where they as to verify the others' phone numbers to make sure you don't pay the wrong person. Well, I trust both to process payments whether online or in person to exchange money. Venmo is a very user friendly way to send money to family and love the intractability of the platform. Pros It makes possible to manage the payment among our friends that offers broad opportunities to reach the consensus in the way of paying. It is agile and user friendly that enables everybody to turn into the master in use of the software. The payment also appears to be speedy with direct transfer to the accounts. I love it. I can't imagine why it took me so long to use it more. Pros I love that we can make and receive payments so simply, no muss and no fuss the payment is made. It is the least complicated payment method I have ever used. It is extremely convenient and you can send money to anyone at anytime. It's easy to search and find people in order to send payment. I enjoy the emoji options that show up for your payment. The mobile format is extremely easy to use and the added security feature of requiring the last four digits of a person's phone number for orders over a certain amount really help me to feel safe using it. I highly recommend it. Pros I love the fact that I can find people easily using either their username or scan their QR code. I can also send money via my bank account or use a credit card for a small fee. It's then super convenient to transfer those funds to an external bank account. August 30, 2019 5.0 Pros Oh gosh, what's not to love about Venmo? Venmo makes it easy to pay people back and makes splitting payments effortless. I use Venmo all the time with friends and coworkers. It's easy, convenient, and (best of all) FREE! No more needing to have cash on hand!! Cons I've had some friends and coworkers have trouble setting up Venmo with their banks. They do need to work on a better system to fix accidental payments to the wrong username. Pros Very easy to use. Quick transfer to bank accounts. Instant money sent to people and receiving money. This program makes sending money easy. Cons If you send to the wrong username, it is almost impossible to get the money back. Customer service is not good when it comes to this. I also like how sending and receiving money can be quite easy. Regarding security, it's great that on my iPhone, I have to either put in my password or thumbprint to open up the app. Cons I'm not a big fan of the "social" aspect of this app. I don't quite understand why someone would want to see the transactions that are occurring between friends and random people around the world. Although there is an option to make the exchanges private, I still think that this feature should be removed to ensure complete privacy. I also wish that there wasn't a fee for instant transactions. It really was about trying the popular money sharing tool and seeing what I could collect during the promo time.I have not gone far by no certain choice and I do see a niche for some so VENMO still stays around just in case.Nothing costly or invasive.But currently a waitlist to get a hard card to allow real transactions in case you have that need.Other online uses work fine. I don't engage directly with PayPal, and there was a project that wanted PayPal or VENMO account holders for payments so it was the choice along with their money back on snacks and such.Check them out. Pros I am continuing my mild movement with VENMO-a peer to peer money app which serves as a payment collector for personal and business needs.It has been a back burner sort of deal as it has a little use in my world but I do support the concept. Cons I find it is better suited for a younger, chat designed group of people who maybe share bills, pay peer to peer or simply want a PayPal related card to handle daily life.You can eventually get a debit card and work it from all angles. Cons There is nothing that I dislike about the app. Just beware that instant transfers to the bank do have a fee. Pros This software lets you easily link a card or bank account to it so you can transfer relatively small amounts of money to your friends. It is quick and makes things like splitting a food bill or settling a bet easy if you don't have or ever carry cash. Cons Some regional financial institutions are not included in the direct deposit option. This means you would have to use a debit card number which incurs a 1% fee each time money is withdrawn from your Venmo to your bank. Additionally, you need to make sure that you have your friends correct information because you could easily send money to a stranger with the same name. Since using it, I've been able to pay people/get paid much quicker than if I were using cash. Pros I like that it makes it very convenient to pay anyone when you want to split a meal or charge for housing utilities. No more cash needed! I guess I just wish that there were more and better graphics available for messages.
