When someone owes me or I owe someone, it makes pay back easy. I don’t have to go the atm I can just wire them money instantly Pros Obsessing over Venmo! Gone are the days of carrying around cash! I love the ability to put things on my card and have friends reimburse me almost instantly! No more tracking down for who owes me. They can pay back right on the spot when I cover their half of something. Cons The only thing that stinks is the small fee to transfer to your bank immediately. It’s kot terrible enough to complain about it, but it is kind of a bummer. Facebook messenger has no fee to transfer instantly but I hate using that because there’s always security breeches. I trust Venmo. October 9, 2020 5.0 I've really enjoyed having an easy way to pay people without having to carry cash. Pros I like that Venmo now has integration with major banks to easily link your bank account to a Venmo account. Cons I don't like that transactions default to be a public transaction for everyone on my feed to see. I prefer my transactions to be private. Review Source Brad T. February 16, 2021 5.0 Venmo helped me solve online and in-store purchases with one account. Pros Venmo is so easy to use and reliable. I like it better than PayPal and even have a Venmo debit card that I can use for transactions as well. December 4, 2020 5.0 I don't use venmo as my main money transfer option but a few of my customers have ask me to use it so I have an account and use it whenever someone needs to send me money that way. I don't have any issues with it and I would remain recommend it to anyone. Pros Most liked how easy and fast it was to sign up for and get started, their through PayPal so it was super easy to link my debt card an I felt safe doing so. I mainly only trust PayPal with my money so that was reassuring to know. Cons It was pretty simple, basic I didn't really dislike anything about it. I don't use it as my main way of money transfer but it's best to use with close friends and people you know since you can't transfer out of the United States. Pros It is very easy to use and fast to transfer or make payments. Now that many restaurants accept venmo, the bill paying got even more easier. Cons Not much to state for cons except that every transfer activity of yours is visible to the community. Wish that feature was switched off as default. Everyone has it, which makes it even easier. Pros The added convenience of people paying me back and me paying them back is amazing. It's a solid platform that makes the process so easy. Pros I always use Venmo when I go out with my friends to split the bill or use it to easily pay someone back if I don't have cash. Cons Nothing. Also, going out with friends and splitting the bill is super easy! Pros The best thing about venmo is that once you link your bank account, even if your venmo balance is zero, you can still pay somebody on venmo through your bank! Similarly free transfers from venmo to bank account are very helpful! Also, it is free to use! Cons I literally have to think about what could be better in venmo! Pros Venmo makes it extremely easy to send and receive money between friends and colleagues, their customer support is also extremely helpful if there's an issue. Cons If you're sending to somebody new, they make you confirm their phone number, which is inconvenient if you don't know the person's phone number. Pros Great software to use for sending and receiving money to friends, family, anybody! Very easy to set up your account, banking info, cards. Also very easy to receive money. Very very user friendly. I've been using this for 5+ years with NO issues. Cons none. I have no complaints about this software. " January 7, 2020 5.0 Overall, Venmo is such an easy app to use. It makes it incredibly easy to split a tab or pay someone back. IT takes away the frustration of needing cash to pay someone and makes selling things easy as well as most people have and use Venmo. Pros I utilize Venmo constantly in my personal lift. Venmo is extremely user-friendly and can event be taught to someone who is not technilogically advanced. Once you get the gist of it, it is extremely easy to use and takes away the constant need to have cash (that no one ever has). Cons I personally don't like the public feed of Venmo - I use it a lot for my family, friends, and even my husband so I don't necessarily want the wolrd to see that; however, the "participants only" option takes away this con! I think it is a great app, but needs to fix that fundamental issue going forward. Pros So easy to transfer money between friends. Great for monthly payments/rent payments. It completely eliminates the need for cash and touching money during a pandemic. Even most bartenders, cart girls, valets, and blue collar workers accept it to replace cash tips. Pros The app and safe and secure and very easy to both pay and collect money from friends and family for everyday things like splitting the bill at a restaurant, utilities payment with your roommate, and joint collaborations for gifts or vacations. Best yet, the app and its services are entirely free unless you wish to rush the transactions. Cons Venmos accepted over the weekend don't hit your account until the next business day so it does not come in until Tuesday but that is of no fault of their own.
