Pros

HRSoft COMPview enables us to support our business through building advanced rules and calculations not available in our HRIS. We were able to build interfaces between our HRIS and HRSoft to ensure the data populated in the planning tool was mapped properly. We also built reports to support seamless payroll processing for our annual bonus payments. Our support team was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive throughout the entire process.

Cons

Some features are hardcoded into the HRSoft COMPview tool which may require some creative resolution. The HRSoft team was extremely accommodating and always kept our business needs in mind. Also, post-implementation, we held a post-mortem and HRSoft listened to our feedback for improvements which may be adopted in future releases.

Unable to key in new annual or hourly rate - just percentage or dollar changes.

Reason for choosing HRsoft Compensation Management

It had better reporting / visuals. CompXL looked more like just excel online, which could have worked but did not cover all of our wish list.

I used HRsoft Compensation Management for about 2 months during my HR internship. It was helpful in understanding how compensation planning works in real-time. The platform made it easier to manage salary updates, track approvals, and organize data in one place. It took a little time to learn, but once I got used to it, it really helped reduce manual work. Overall, a good experience for someone starting out in HR.

Pros

I have used HRsoft in my Human Resource internship where I worked in the compensation and benefits domain of HR and what I liked about it most was that it made managing salary changes and bonuses more organized. I liked how it reduced manual work of our HR team and errors in compensation planning and it was easy to see and compare employee compensation details in one place.

Cons

As I was a fresher at that time it was difficult for me to learn how to use all the features of HRSoft. Also, sometimes it took a lot of time to load reports which caused delay.

From all of our implementations, this was by far the easiest one we had, and it is all due to the fantastic implementation team we had, led by \[sensitive content hidden\]. She and her team were able to meet all of our needs and we truly appreciate everything they did.

Pros

The entire process from implementation to Managers using the system was seamless. We had the best implementation team that was very patient with us and was able to meet all of our needs. They were able to configure the system to our specifications for prorations, new hires etc.

Cons

We don't have any cons. The Managers really enjoy being able to see their direct reports and their entire teams rollup at a glance with live data. From moving from excel to HR Soft, the look and feel of the system made it very much a seamless transition and our Managers love the merit process.

Reason for choosing HRsoft Compensation Management

We did not look at any other system as we were very impressed with HR Soft.

Such a positive experience and the personal connection with the HRSoft teams has been a highlight which typically only happens in a smaller company. The art in continuing this culture during growth will be special and something ypu should strive to continue where possible.

Pros

Customization and customer service provided by the HRSoft team.

Cons

Would have been beneficial to have access or option to identify multiple modules for use during 1st contract. This would allow us to demonstrate the business need supporting other comp initiatives and may ultimately secure these additional products at renewal.

We use HRsoft for our annual merit cycle and have had great success with the product. It allows each of our planners to login and easily assign the increase percent and any promotions.

Cons

This year HRsoft had an interface upgrade. While I like the new layout, we had some extensive customization that had to be made to the dashboard/landing page in order for it to correctly display our data.

This tool enabled our compensation team from having to create multiple spreadsheets for compensation planning for 16K employees. HRsoft not only cut the time down the team would have spent preparing spreadsheets, but also provided audit capability of knowing who changed what and when. The tool also enabled us to track approvals while ensuring the group could consolidate planner/approvers. Executives and end users were very appreciative of the simple process as well as the applications ease of use.

Pros

Ease of customization, customer service, amazing implementation team and overall a tool that has great user interface with flexibility.

If the software was capable of including 2 bonus amounts on one letter that would be great. We do have instances of an employee being on 2 different bonus in one year. I do like the fact that when running letters, you do have the option of one PDF with all of the letters for a group, or a zip file with the individual letters. Managers loved this feature. They were able to send letters to their remote employees easily. Using the tool was very easy. Once managers were trained on the tool there was no real issues. I really like the reporting feature. I ran reports constantly during the process. I do not know if you offer training on the creating the files for the initial input since I came into my company after they had already started to use the tool. I think offering training on what to include in certain input files for what scenerio, the format of the data for certain fields (ie: hourly rate vs annual salary) would be helpful. I know that I stumbled at first, forgetting the rules from last year. Overall though, I think it is a great tool.

I cannot speak highly enough of the team that we worked with to get COMPview off the ground. We were impressed from the get go, even with just the demo. Since then, HRsoft's customer service has far surpassed our expectations! When we went through the RFP process to find a comp vendor, we were really looking for a partner; a vendor who was passionate of the rollout of the system. We found it. Mike, Shefali, and Ritika completely blew us away. Shefali and Ritika helped us all the way through our implementation; from start to finish. I appreciated that they were solutions focused. They never gave us a "no" for an answer rather a "No, we can't to do that exactly, but here is what we can do instead." They were an absolute pleasure to work with and we have rolled out an amazing product becuase of their dedication. Thank you!

The COMPview module was an excellent solution for us and has turned out to be extremely robust for the value. The tool is simple to use, effectively met our needs and enabled us to plan for almost 1,500 employees in a timely manner. Their customer service is above par and deserves high marks for their responsiveness and willingness to support us as a client. The only area for improvement is their foresight and executing more as consultants than support. Overall, we are very happy with the product, pricing and support and are excited about partnering with them for our next Focal process.

The HRsoft team is very hard working and respond and solve issues quickly. The system is easy to use. Just the site can be glitchy at times if there is alot of traffic in the site.

Pros

I really enjoy working with the HRsoft team. They offer great training and resources to learn to use the system.

Cons

Sometimes the dashboards take time to load and if there is a lot of traffic site slows down. Also data is not connected to our HR systems, and there can be discrepancies with data, if we don't audit.
