We will recommend this to other businesses as a way to safeguard data for a reasonable price. Thank you! Pros This is easy to setup and we have it continuously backing up our data, so we feel secure. It's piece of mind that we are paying for with this and we have had no issues with Carbonite. We're happy customers. Used the software for: ### "Much easier to use than Norton back up" February 27, 2017 5.0 In our office, Norton's backup system had been in place for a long time. While it seems to do the job, it became more and more cumbersome to use, having to delete old backups and make room for new ones. Our bookkeeper recommended Carbonite and it was a very seamless transition. It was easy to install, very easy to see which files were backedvup, and very easy to add files to be backed up. There are no file space limitations, and when a file is backed, it writesvover the old version, so there are not multiple copies of back ups floating around. For basic service, which is plenty for a small office, it made perfect sense and we are so glad we switched products! I felt very safe and secure knowing all of my files were stored and could be restored if necessary. Cons The price compared to the product offering. IT Manager Apparel & Fashion Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Affordable backup solution" December 4, 2019 3.0 Their support and customer service is really good , they answer to you in a good amount of time. I installed the trial version because the pricing seems good for everything they offer. Sadly I run into some issues in the installation process, their support team tried to help but they sent it to different support tiers and I didn't wanted to move forward. Pros It's very affordable for all the features they offer on the website. You can backup workstations and servers directly into their cloud servers. Cons It didn't work for us. We installed the trial version, it gave some errors on the server side, their support team tried to help and they were just elevating to their next support tier. You can also see how much space each computer is taking on our shared backup storage. On top of that, the program is pretty snappy during installation. There is no need to be tech savy to get things done, you can as well go with the default settings and sit back while things remain automated for you. Cons I personally feel carbonite does not allocate enough bandwidth for stuffs backed up with them and for this reason, restoration of backups tends to be super slow, moves at a snail speed and is terribly annoying. Pros Very simple to use. Fully automated. Fast and reliable. Cons Limited retention span. Data may automatically be deleted if the disk is removed from the machine. Pros The ease of use and the streamlined interface make this software super easy to interact with and use. Cons Prices are good but could be a little cheaper. There are other options. Pros Once it is setup, it does run as intended and backups are available as intended. It is out of sight out of mind. Cons When it runs, it does slow down the pc. If it fails, we do have to reach out to support and then wait while they take over the pc. Reason for choosing Carbonite It was already on the customers pc.
