If there are compliance questions, we can go to their portal or ping their customer team. Pros Justworks is incredibly easy to use and manage payroll and benefits. They are constantly evolving and rolling out more benefits to their customers. In addition, their customer support is some of the best I've experienced. They always work with you to find a solution Cons Our only complaint is working with rolling start dates and benefits. However, their team was able to help us find a workaround and work with us on those issues. November 7, 2019 5.0 Pros We switched to Justworks a little over a year ago and it was the best decision I made. It is easy to use, staff loves the customer service, and it is incredibly intuitive. Cons No cons. Everything works really well and customer service is awesome. Reason for choosing Justworks I reviewed many other options but they were by far the best. Very easy program to use and to teach. We've had two account managers so far and they both have been AMAZING. Pros As both and admin and a user, the software's interface and functionality is very easy to use. Cons Invoices are not able to be converted to a pdf. That is something I'd like to see them improve. Cons It was set on an 8 hour day and some of our staff work 8 hours and others work 7.5 hours and that adjustment was hard to get Just Works to fix at times. Onboarding was good we thought until we found that a crucial piece regarding unemployment comp was not communicated to us. But it does not help with scheduling and communication like I thought it would. Pros I love the integration with other HR and payroll systems like Gusto. It makes some aspects of employee management and time tracking easier. I love the geofencing feature as well. Cons The ability to create custom schedules and communicate with employees while on shift is subpar. I switched from Deputy, which had that feature and is important for the type of work we do (cleaning services). Deputy was less expensive as well. Review Source AG Amanda G. It is very simple to set up each time a new employee starts working for us. Also, the reports make payroll easy! Cons I can't think of anything I don't like about the software. I will say occasionally it takes a few seconds to load the notes section of a shift. And once in a while the map doesn't always show a location for start and end of a shift. Like Gusto, Justworks is an intuitive, fun interface on all levels, and a great one-stop shop to cover a wide variety of needs. The variety of features available was great. The user experience of the software is top notch and incredibly user friendly. They are also cheaper than some of the competition in terms of per user fees. It's so easy to clock in and out including start and stop break. It also shows how much they make in the period. Administrator can easily edit employee's shifts when they forget to clock in or out. Cons You need a smart phone or tablet to be able to use the app. However, it's easily fixed by providing a tablet in the office in case someone doesn't have a smart phone or forget the phone. GPS tracking is pretty accurate but sometimes you have to wait about a minute for the app to pinpoint your location. Review Source DH Douglas H. I'd recommend it to other companies. Pros As a user, Justworks makes it easy to manage my benefits, pays tubs and time off. It's very intuitive and easy to access. It's my one stop shop for most info I need regarding HR related issues. Cons Nothing is really missing. One idea to consider would be adding some more community elements for employees to engage with each other around birthdays, family and personal life and getting to know each other. A few minor uprgades would make it nearly perfect, but it does what it needs to do. Pros Justworks is very easy to use. Each section is clearly labeled and organized in a way that makes sense. Basic sections iclude "Paystubs," "Timecards," and "Benefits." I refer back to it a lot when I have questions about my benefits. It has been very useful for storing my important personal information. Unlike other software, it's compatible with all of my banks for direct deposits. Cons Some features that seem obvious (such as saving your hours on your timecard throughout the week) were not present until very recently. You had to record your hours elsewhere and enter them all at once at the end of two weeks, which basically defeated the purpose of the Timecards section. That feature was supposedly added though it's not clear how you use it. Review Source Davey J. I do all the payroll inputs myself personal " May 14, 2018 2.0 Pros Easy to use. Employees are in charge of tracking their cumulative hours. The geo-fence is good. App is good, though the font is microscopic. Cons Rounds the hours down in QB integration. Only imports grand total hours into QB, does not put OT in proper QB payroll fields. All the reports are listed first name first. Then conversely QB is last name first...AS IT SHOULD BE!!!! It does not allow me to edit a shift that is still open! Review Source JG Joseph G. It also allows you to separate your time if you are at multiple job sites. Cons Sometimes the software bugs out and deletes a shift or will keep you clocked in for 24 hours. Pros Great for tracking time ! Not sure if this application has other features available since there is no how to option, or simple instructions. Would be nice if there such options! Cons I can't clock in if I'm too far away from address job site. Very frustrating. Also never were given instructions as to how to use the app. This app is not so user friendly. Cons That’s it’s not auto clock back in. We as employees can tend to get business and forget to clock back in. They are patient with multiple questions and are very responsive. I love the Slack channel! Pros All of the features are very user friendly, for both admins and end users. Cons There isn't an integration with Quickbooks Desktop so I have to enter the transactions manually. Also, I am not able to customize reports as much as I would like.
