General Manager Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "JustWorks Simplifies the Way You Manage Payroll and Benefits" May 6, 2019 5.0 JustWorks is easy to set up and maintain. It's a great product to help companies become organized in their directory, payroll, and benefits. Pros 1\. It's very simple to use - It's a repeatable solution that can easily be adopted by anyone in the organization. 2. When it comes to tax season, being able to view your tax forms and paystubs is very easy. 3. The directory feature is excellent. I love that you can see peoples' profiles and be able to find people in your organization and their contact info easily. Cons 1\. Viewing benefits could improve quite a bit. It's good to see at a high level what the employee and employer contributions look like, but if I want to search for specific benefits within medical as an example, JustWorks does not really make it intuitive to search for what I need. 2. I wish that JustWorks can sync directly into Microsoft related products (i.e. Outlook for reminders, etc). Review Source Alex C. And the mobile app makes in very convenient. It’s quick, easy to use and efficient. Recommend! Cons There could be a few more features. Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Has potential, but could be better" May 24, 2016 2.0 My supervisor encouraged us to use the app to log in our hours, since we do not have an official method of logging our time while working. (I work for a really small environmental non-profit organization.) I was really amazed by how such an app can exist in place of a timecard or a website. Pros It's really mobile-friendly and convenient! Instead of grabbing a physical timecard or turning on a computer to log hours online, I can just log hours with my phone in a minute. I also like how it keeps track of the hours you take for your break and the hours you are actually working. Cons I often forget to check in whenever I come into work. A notification system letting me know when it is time to check in, or an automatic check-in when my phone detects that I am at my work would be helpful. Review Source FB Frank B. May 14, 2018 3.0 Pros I like that I can track my time no matter where I am, it's nice to not have to be at a timeclock to punch in. Cons I really don't like that it isn't easier to log several different shifts in a single day. Pros I like the aesthetics and how user friendly it is. Cons Just works and just works hours should be together. Just hours needs some buttons added to make it easier to use. It's a tool to be able to use away from the main job site. Making project tracking much easier. Cons I do not like that I am unable to easily edit an open shift. Pros I love how I can obtain all of my payroll reports in just a few clicks. I also like how I can see who is currently working, and the times that they clocked in. Cons I think that the phone app could be a little better designed. Some of my staff members get a little confused while clocking-in and clocking-out on their phones. May 14, 2018 4.0 Pros I am able to use it on the go, it is easy to clock in and clock out of the app. I am able to easily track my hours, as well as the pay I am determined to receive at each paycheck. Cons I do not see or account of anything that could be not liked. There were problems in the past attributing to not correctly giving my location, but those have been resolved. Cons The break button does not request confirmation and it is easy to accidentally start your break when you don't mean to. May 16, 2018 5.0 Payroll tracking has been made super easy. It allows you to see how many hours you have worked, what locations you worked and it tracks the increase from week to week. Pros I love how it allows you to track the weekly total hours. This way it helps you to stay up on how many hours you need before you begin to hit the over time wall. It is simple to edit shifts and tell which location you works. I also really enjoy the weekly emails with all the details of hours worked. Cons I wish there was a way that it would track your current hours with your clocked hours. When I have 14 hours already on the week, and I am clocked in on a current shift, it doesn't add your current shift hours to the weekly total. Also, i wish there was an option to add a "Vacation day" to the weekly hours, it would still need to be approved, but it would allow you to see how many hours, including Vacation, personal or sick hours you had for the week. The UX is outstanding. They also put out great articles related to HR, employee experience, etc. and had a very well executed unconscious bias training that my company used. Cons The only weird feature that I've experienced is their Time Off calculations. The system doesn't include your future time-off days in its calculation of how many days you have left to take off. It's easy to think you have more than you really do. For one that you can't keep track of schedules via the app. Additionally , app functionality is also not 100% but the app is progressive. It seamlessly integrates into various payroll s/w which makes it super simple to run payroll (hours worked are auto-populated). They do lack a few more integrations into accounting and also could do with more robust features (have better reporting tools and better user management). That money and the structural savings for adding benefits allowed us to add dental, vision and 401-K matches - all putting more money in employees pockets - and we still saved money! Pros Facilitating communication between supervisors and team members for scheduling and tracking time off . Cons Quickbooks integration needs a huge boost. Being an app, it doesn't require you to boot up your laptop. It's handy to be able to access via web, mobile, or laptop. We switched from SquareUp (which was a complete headache with terrible customer service) and I just wished we had started out using JustWorks from the very beginning. Pros They have thought of everything - customer services is always available to help and the how-to articles are top notch. I'm never left wondering if I did something correctly. Cons The new changes to make payments took some getting used to.
