Guru has become a core part of our daily workflow. It’s helped us ramp new team members faster, reduce repeat questions, and keep our messaging consistent across teams. It’s not just a knowledge base — it’s a tool that supports scale without adding chaos. Once you set it up right, it’s hard to imagine working without it.

Pros

The browser extension is a game changer, it lets us grab trusted answers without leaving the tools we’re already working in. Search is fast and accurate, and the verification workflows make sure content stays up to date. It’s made our CS and Support teams more efficient and aligned.

Cons

If you don’t keep it clean, things can get cluttered fast. It takes some discipline to assign card owners and regularly verify content. Without that structure, the value drops off.

We use Guru as our internal knowledge-sharing platform for all team members. Each department maintains a collection of articles and cards to reference and utilize as needed. Before implementing Guru, organizing and ensuring consistency in knowledge was challenging, as knowledge sharing relied heavily on specific individuals. Now, it's much simpler and more effective.

Pros

A platform that equips our team with the information needed to address client inquiries, learn more about our tools and processes, and manage various types of client communications.

Cons

I have no major concerns; however, at times, the search bar doesn’t display the specific article needed to process a client’s request.

Pros

It always has relevant updates and is user friendly.

Cons

Previously, it was difficult to find a topic or information that we needed to solve for our customers' concern but moving forward, it has changed and other GURU cards are now in one GURU card which is easier to check.

I've been working with GURU for the last 3 years or more. It has been a helpful source knoledge materials. You can select many cards at the same and spread and not check one-by-one, you can grouo them, you can favorite, and the search option is very effiecient.

Pros

\- It's easy to find the cards - Easy to managem them - Easy to operate

Cons

Maybe more personalization because it has no way to give your own touch to the experience. But that's just me. Eveyrhting I need is there so I don't have no critics regarding this.

The user interface is really easy to ise and along with that is you can also check the accurate information form guru.

Other articles aren’t updated yet leading us that sometimes we still have to double check it with other articles and it will be time consuming.

I was part of the Technical Support Team of a large Project Management software company for 2 years. We used Guru to maintain our KB and it was surprisingly easy to feed our A.I. chat bot with it.

Pros

It was one of the easiest tools I've ever used to update a Knowledge Base, it was very A.I. friendly.

Cons

It was sometimes very picky when returning search results, you had to be very specific to get the articles you were looking for.

I would say the experience I’ve got with Guru for the past 3 years is that 10 out of 10 because it is really good. Guru is the best information teller for me, it is like a teacher that will answer all of your question, you just have to type the key word and viola, it’s there.

Pros

I like about guru is that they can give you accurate information and this can be edited. Guru is very user friendly and easy to access. You can see the daily updates that they are providing for each information and topics. I really love using Guru. Guru is like a teacher to us.

Cons

I think the least I like about Guru is that they have all the information you are looking for, it’s just everything is there, you don’t have to look for an answer anywhere, just look for it on Guru and you will have it. I think there is no way I wouldn’t like guru.

It's been helpful for the job that we do. We work in healthcare, so I feel like we are always referring to a lot of health issues, insurance or payment questions .

Pros

Easy to access, wide base of knowledge and information. Lots of results and information on every topic.

Cons

It is kind of a lot, so there are some answers I feel like are repeated, or when you search and you just want a basic answer, there are a lot of results to skim through. Other than that it's great and easy to use.

Pros

Ask Guru! That feature is the one I liked the most as it is now much easier to search for necessary information. You just need to ask and Guru will now answer it in specified information.

Cons

The search function. Sometimes the cards that were showing are not applicable.

Great way to learn content relevant to my discipline. Provides quick access to card edits, setting up reviews for cards and creating favourite card lists. The search engine also always seems to turn what I am looking.

Pros

Provides convenient method to leave comments about content. Provides way to track analytics on cards including views and favourites as well!

Cons

Can be a bit confusing to initially find what you are looking for, the nav could be better. Could provide a dark mode.

I enjoy the structure of the cards. It's very organized and the layout of the cards is great.

Cons

I'm not very keen on the updates view for a given guru card. When I click I've read the update, the box still blocks my view of the card and it's hard to read.

It's useful for sharing information internally. We use Guru Cards as a secure source of truth for pricing, feature availability, and more.

Cons

I want it to be more customizable and interconnected from one card to another. I prefer using Google Sites.
