### "It works for local food/beverage delivery business. (B2C)"

May 17, 2022

Pros

It's easy to import/export data, including stock, customer, and delivery area. Also exported data works well with other software.

Cons

it would be nice if we could connect 2 separated websites (different languages and products) and handle duplicated stocks in one account.

### "Uno dei migliori per piccoli ecommerce"

February 24, 2023

5.0

### "Popular and Easy e-Commerce platform Integration"

### "Comercio electrónico rápido, profesional y personalizable"

March 12, 2023

4.0

Pros

Cons

### "Solid Software but lots of limitations"

May 15, 2023

4.0

Pros

I Really love its built-in SEO features and marketing tools that contribute to improving search engine visibility and driving customer engagement. The vast extension ecosystem enhances functionality, enabling me to integrate advanced features and plugins to meet my business needs. The shopping cart and checkout process are smooth, providing customers with a hassle-free purchasing experience.

Cons

WooCommerce has several limitations to consider. It has a steep learning curve for beginners and may require coding knowledge or professional help for advanced customization. The plugin's extensive features can sometimes slow down site performance if not optimized properly. Additionally, while the basic version is free, additional costs may arise when purchasing certain extensions and plugins, affecting the overall budget for running an online store.

### "Essential for your ecommerce"

March 22, 2023

4.0

I personally use WooCommerce to manage a library of products that aren't currently on sale, while still generating a custom storefront with specific tags and attributes for each one.

Pros

Free ecommerce plugin for WordPress, which allows you to easily create an online store. I liked the possibility of customization and attribution of tags to each product (there are really many and include every possible feature). The payment functions are granted in different ways and the tracking of shipments and items in stock is easy to manage. However, I advise those approaching this plugin to take a mini-introductory course to understand its dynamics and functioning.

Cons

It may not be suitable for all types of online stores, especially if they are very complex or large e-commerce. Requires a minimum of technical knowledge for proper configuration and management, especially for advanced features such as integration with payment systems.

### "User friendly, easy to integrate."

December 11, 2023

We've been with WooCommerce for a number of years, and integrated it without issue on many websites. Plug-in and extensions are updated regularly to keep as secure as possible and the ability to navigate and add products, etc. is very clear and easy to use.

Pros

I love the numerous extensions available to take your cart to the next level and integrate with any shipping platform and payment account.

Cons

We had an issue and customer support was delayed and not very helpful.

### "Best eCommerce Plugin for WordPress, but some customization limited"

March 9, 2021

4.0

WooCommerce is the right choice for your eCommerce store. Although the WooCommerce plugin is free, expect to purchase additional plugins (typically licensed @$20-$100/yr) for more complex features. There are typically free versions of these plugins, but they all have limitations that may force you to purchase the premium license. Examples of this could include: 1. Integration with shipping providers for live calculation of shipping costs 2. Customer Reviews 3. COMPLEX email marketing automation (basic email notifications come OOTB) 4. COMPLEX discount / coupon rules (basic features come OOTB)

Pros

Built through Wordpress, the WordPress plugin marketplace can provide nearly any feature you can think of, which gives you a lot of flexibility in your ecommerce store, albeit sometimes at an added cost. Their mobile app makes managing orders and updating products quick and simple - many times easier than using the browser interface.

Cons

For an ecommerce platform, I was surprised how inflexible the cart, checkout, and customer account pages were for customization. Anything is possible with custom development and/or additional plugins, but OOTB the pages mentioned may not provide an acceptable level of customization for some administrators.

### "Works perfectly for basic e-commerce in WordPress"

June 29, 2021

4.0

Prior to adding WooCommerce to our site, we simply used a form that people submitted to let us know they were interested in one of our training products. Then we invoiced them through QuickBooks. But now, with WooCommerce, people can purchase directly on our site. Everything is automated, even down to how the sales are recorded in QuickBooks. This saves a huge amount of time for both our internal staff and buyers.

Pros

WooCommerce integrates seamlessly into WordPress, which is half the battle for any WordPress add-ons. And if you are using it for a pretty standard e-commerce store, it's a perfect choice. There are a ton of additional plug-ins and customizations available for anyone who, like us, is not implementing a standard e-commerce store.

Cons

Our use of it has been less than standard, so we've needed to install several additional plugins and even do some hacking to get it to work exactly as we need. This was frustrating at times, but if you are willing to put in the energy it takes to get a customized solution, there are tools out there (both directly from Woo Commerce and also third-parties) to make it happen.

### "eCommerce plugin leader for WordPress"

May 24, 2023

5.0

Pros

Because of its leader status in eCommerce for WordPress, the number of third-party integrations is massive so it's practically possible to acheive anything.

Cons

WooCommerce's biggest advantage is also in someways its biggest disadvantage. Many features that third-party integrations bring to the table are not in the core package, which makes it necessary to maintain several plugins to achieve the customisability that some businesses need.

### "Can be tedious to set up but is really the best out there."

March 1, 2023

5.0

Pros

I started out on Shopify years and, went to Squarespace, then moved to Woocommerce. Woocommerce is the best out there. You get everything you pay for in other CRMs for free. The support community is huge and if there is a feature you need that is not included, there are almost unlimited plugins available, both free and paid.

Cons

Setting up taxes and shipping can be a little tedious, but there are a lot of plugins available to automate everything.

### "WooCommerce: a successful and comprehensive electronic commerce to boost online sales"

June 14, 2023

5.0

Although as I mentioned before, despite the fact that my area is architecture, I was assigned to help and learn about WooCommerce and its integration with WordPress, so from experience with this system I can say that after I was assigned the task of helping implementing WooCommerce as an eCommerce platform for selling construction related products, I was simply overwhelmed by the idea of using a new and unfamiliar tool, and despite that I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use of WooCommerce, since thanks to Its integration with WordPress allowed for quick and hassle-free setup, and I was able to easily customize the look and feel of the online store to fit the company's style. Despite not being my area of expertise, WooCommerce proved to be a reliable and effective solution to boost the construction company's online sales, so I learned to use this system in a better way for the next time I use it.

Pros

In my little programming experience, I had the opportunity to learn WordPress where a programmer I apprenticed with integrated it with WooCommerce, which offered us a wide range of customization and flexibility in the design of the online store. In addition, its wide variety of available plugins and extensions allowed us to extend the functionalities of the platform according to the specific needs required. Another highlight that it has is its robust product and order management system, greatly streamlining inventory tracking and management. And finally, this system has the ability to support multiple payment methods and its compatibility with different payment gateways which They were instrumental in providing a smooth and secure shopping experience for customers.

Cons

In my little experience with WooCommerce I can say that a bad point I found in this system is that sometimes it had a bad performance, since when handling a large number of products or having high traffic, it can experience some slowness.

### "When you have more time than money - worth learning!"

September 22, 2020

5.0

It's absolutely a game-changer for me and my very small business. I sell items online and moved away from big commerce marketplaces because the fees were eating me alive in an already super competitive market. I can now run my own store on my own website and list as many items as I was for free. I also have the ability to modify Woocommerce however I see fit to my needs. It's a little tricky at first but worth the time investment considering it's a free opensource app.

Pros

It's free and it's open source! If you have the time and a little bit of patience this is well worth the investment of knowledge it takes to get it up and running. The modifications you can implement and the documentation on how to do so I plentiful online. Having the ability to manipulate such a versatile plugin for your website is monumental when running a small business and literally doing everything for yourself. You can also integrate print-on-demand stores like Printful into your Woocommerce store which is one of the best features!

Cons

It can be overwhelming. If you are not familiar with the backends of websites and a little coding this might not be for you. If you are unfamiliar with e-commerce this can also be overwhelming too. The language and deep level of modifications and settings can make your head spin.

### "Woocommerce is OK for the price - needs a lot fo plugins and customizations"

May 1, 2020

4.0

Overall with sourcing the right plugins it works. Part fo the WC challenge is trying to be all things to all people. As a result, there are too many settings when we don;t need them and not enough when we do need those features!

Pros

The price is manageable (i.e. less than $200 /yr) and, if you understand Wordpress, can be implemented relatively quickly. Greater customizations require more plugins (or snippets) to make it work for more unique situations. (We sell courses and use additional plugins to achieve the end platform.)

Cons

Like most Wordpress plugins, when you get into trouble with a problem, there is 'some' support available but not reliable. Ultimately it is a cost / benefit trade-off. We use WC because for the price it is a reasonable solution.

### "Woo can grow as you do!"

October 6, 2022

4.0

Very good, as with any sales platform there are some learning curves. It works well with digital delivery and also with shipping physical products. I also like that you can add services and website options with widgets.

Pros

Woo allows users to customize their site with plug-ins and widgets. This allows you to add features affordably as your business grows.

Cons

The more add-ons and plug-ins you use, the more expensive it gets. This is just something to remember as your business grows the cost savings you have compared to other platforms can dwindle a little.

### "A must for events"

August 14, 2023

5.0

I enjoy the product a lot! It is user friendly and an all-inclusive product for events.

Pros

I enjoy how accessible orders are so I can keep track for events, as well as being able to see how many seats have sold for an event.

Cons

I am not sure if this is an add-on, but having orders automatically create an excel file that separates individual and team tickets that also updates automatically. It would be nice to know when people cancel/refund a ticket and not have to manually update a separate file doc each time.
