Cons

The speed. From my point of view Woo is too slow when you have above 10K+ products in your webshop.

I use WooCommerce toghether with Subscriptions and Memberships add-ons for selling electronic products such as E-books, educational subscription based programs.

Pros

It's very easy to use and it has all the add-ons one could need in order to sell different products, services, courses, or programs. It's very easy to integrate with many payment gateways so the customers can pay using credit cards, wire transfer, even using crypto.

Cons

You have to pay extra for many add-ons, some of them may be expensive for small entrepreneurs on small budgets and low sales.

WooCommerce has allowed me to create virtual stores in a short time, their plugins facilitate and save a lot of time since they can integrate vital features for a virtual store, such as shopping carts, payment methods, search engine, etc. I can also integrate it with custom templates, so it allows versatility and originality, it also helps to make SEO in a more simplified way, this tool has been improving over time, it is not what it was a year ago, it has been in constant evolution, I am quite satisfied with its implementation.

Pros

What I like most about WooCommerce is that it makes the creation of sales websites much simpler and more dynamic, it has support for a large number of templates, plugins that add very useful functions, such as coupon systems, integration of methods of payment, mail confirmation, what I like most is that it allows to register a massive amount of products to the website without losing performance, it is optimized for SEO which facilitates having a greater reach on the internet.

Cons

It is a tool that facilitates a lot when it comes to creating virtual stores, a detail to take into consideration is that its line of learning is quite steep, so it is not ideal to be used by people who do not have enough knowledge, it is a intermediate-advanced tool usually takes quite a while to set everything up, although this is worth using.

My experience with WooCommerce has been very good, I love that they have a mobile application and I can manage my store from my cell phone, plus they do not charge commission per sale which has helped us a lot because we sell a lot of products.

Pros

This tool is for me one of the most important in my day to day, I can manage my online store easily, upload my products, modify them, assign variations, it is very complete and works excellent.

Cons

It's hard to find something I don't like about this tool, but in terms of design, some Wordpress themes are not so compatible with WooCommerce, this makes it a bit slow to process data to advance to the next sections, something that doesn't happen in Shopify. But for me WooCommerce is the best tool.

\*UI The looks of the Woo are getting better after each new release (happens very often) and their team is doing a lot to bring the best to the customers. \*Out of the box features When you install Woo and and have in mind to create a simple shop fast - Woo can help you do just that in a matter of minutes. All you need is to follow simple guidance and in few hours you can start selling.

Cons

\*Pricing Even though woo commerce itself is free - any kind of additional plugins are just unreasonable expensive. Even the simple mail integration or bulk pricing is going to cost you. \*A lot of old features Many things in Woo are outdated. The fact that there are not many competing solutions should not stop the Woo team and I believe that they will dedicate their work into simplifying the experience and make the whole e-commerce work smarter for a new customer.

Over all this was the right solution for my company for the cost.

Pros

Woocommerce allowed me to use woo subscriptions for our online retail site, which is one of the only fixed cost subscription programs. Other subscription programs wanted to charge me a percentage of every sale which I thought was crazy! I would rather pay a one time or yearly software fee.

Cons

Woo Commerce can be very glitchy with other programs on Wordpress. I've had issues with my templates and changes are not always easy. The worst is when a update happens and then you have to go and find out all the issues that were caused and have to go back and figure out how to fix them.

Pros

We just upgraded our website off an unknown platform to Wordpress, and added WOOcommerce to the Wordpress site for our shopping cart. It's doing the job, as it has helped streamline and integrate with our shipping platform and our CRM, things that weren't possible on our previous platform.

Cons

It's been challenging to get it set up correctly, and I'm not sure if the trouble lies more with our web development company setting it up, or with glitches in WooCommerce itself. We will be switching our web services company in a few months and I plan to report back then.

Pros

It's a good and simple solution to sell products or services if you are in the Wordpress Ecosystem. There are a lot of customization and integration which can help to tailor your store easily.

Cons

A lot of bugs and a lot of features require to buy expensive plugins. It's sometimes hard to connect other apps.

Lo usiamo in azienda per il nostro ecommerce in quanto avevamo già un sito wordpress ed è sembrata la soluzione più semplice e veloce. In generale è un'esperienza positiva, anche se ci piacerebbe avere più margini di personalizzazione.

Pros

Si collega facilmente ai siti WordPress, permettendo di creare il proprio ecommerce. Gestione di prodotti e categorie abbastanza intuitiva.

Cons

Scarse possibilità di personalizzazione: per modifiche complesse occorre personalizzate il CSS o inserire JavaScript.

If you are a small company bringing your product online and have serious budget constraints, WooCommerce is an excellent, free option. It's not the greatest, but you can't beat the price. However, Keep in mind that add ons and third party assistance may cost money, so it's prudent to evaluate the total cost before making a decision.

Pros

Well, it's free. And compared to Magento, which is not free, it has similar functionality and interface. Which - as anybody who used Magento can tell you, is not the greatest. But with WooCommerce at least you are getting it for free.

Cons

The interface is slow and clunky the UI/UX isn't very intuitive, if you're not familiar with webstore configuration, you'll probably need to pay a third party to assist.

Shopify is the gold standard for webstores these days, and if you have the financial bandwidth I highly recommend it over WooCommerce. That said, if you're not going with Shopify, none of the other competitors are worth paying for when WooCommerce is free.

Is is very simple to integrate external API like Courier platform and Finacial managenent softvare, you finish a order just with a few clicks, and your site issue AWBs and Invoice, tracking orders and store stock. Easy to use even for a beginner.

Cons

For now we didnt find issues regarding WooCommerce modules on our site

WooCommerce helps us to manage our store online with easiness. It helps us to add products with less effort and also generate details analytic reports of total orders, total sales, and total revenue.

Pros

WooCommerce allows us to manage the inventory of our stocks and allow us to add products to our web portal with different styles like digital products, group products, and single products.

Cons

There is no option to link our in-house inventor management software to the online stock management of WoCommerce. This doesn't reflect the sales from offline outlets on our website which allow stockout orders and it makes it more complicated to convince our clients of our software mistake.

I wanted to sell some digital downloads and tried Shopify, didn't quite like the pricing and wasn't able to solve some of the features I wanted. I switched to WooCommerce and all is well with my store, I even started another dropshipping store and it's selling well.

Pros

WooCommerce is by far the best eCommerce tool that I've used for my digital products as well as dropshipping stores. It has all the features for me to set up and run a successful e-commerce brand. And it's free, what does one need more?

Cons

Setting up is easy and straightforward but for beginners, it might be going on a rabbit hole of youtube videos but it's all worth it.
