### "Amazing eCommerce store"

July 3, 2023

4.0

Amazing tool.

Pros

The ability to get pretty creative with your store, bringing in your own theme and customizing the same store with loads of plugins and ease to manage inventory and many more.

Cons

Having to load your store with lots of plugins to achieve certain results which are almost readily available in other similar solutions can be pretty overwhelming and might pose a security threat if one is not very careful which is largely dependent on the type though.

### "Functional e-commerce platform"

November 24, 2022

4.0

It’s simple to deploy, easy to use for users familiar with WordPress, but it’s heavy. Performance is not great and support for Woocommerce itself is nearly inexistente (as it’s free). Support for paid modules will vary as there are many different developers.

Pros

It’s free, flexible, full feature and it’s a Wordpress plugin so there is a huge use base.

Cons

It will require the use of several plugins, and most of them charge a subscription. Can get expensive.

### "Pretty easy to learn and somewhat user friendly"

July 21, 2021

4.0

Overall I like WooCommerce and will continue to use it.

Pros

I like the flexibility in this software and the fact that there are many Wordpress Plugins that work well with WooCommerce for just about anything. There is a small learning curve but so far most everything was easy enough to figure out. Overall, it has worked well for my e-commerce business.

Cons

Some of the configurations for shipping can be a little challenging to figure out. I think it could be made simpler and more user friendly.

### "Easy to setup e-commerce framework"

February 6, 2021

5.0

For smaller scale shops, it's an ideal solution with easy setup and many useful plugins.

Pros

It can be installed and deployed in a matter of minutes. It's just a wordpress plugin, but it supports all the functionality for a smaller scale eshop.

Cons

It's built on top of Wordpress ecosystem which means that there is a bit of unneeded overhead, if you don't actually need all the Wordpress blog experience.

### "Completo e flessibile"

October 6, 2022

5.0

Pros

### "Free, featured-packed and reliable"

June 26, 2022

5.0

Pros

WooCommerce is the best e-commerce solution out there for me. It makes creating your own store very easy with a simple set up and easy to use admin panel with the WordPress ACP. With many plugins and themes available for it too, it can be customised easily and quickly to suit our needs.

Cons

It can be slightly bloated once you have many addons as not all basic e-commerce features are available out of the box.

Perfect all in one solution for your e-commerce needs.

Pros

Woocommerce has a ton of plug ins for just about anything you could possibly need. All of which are easy to integrate, which allows you to successful manage an e-commerce functional site.

Cons

A lot of tasks within woocommerce can be quite time consuming. The layout and internal structure for certain tasks could be streamlined.

### "Excellent and highly customisable e-commerce platform"

May 21, 2020

5.0

Being fairly easy and highly customisable (and even free), WooCommerce solves a lot of problems and brings a great store experience, while not being as robust as Magento.

Pros

First of all, it's free. No monthly fees like some of the other alternatives out there. But most importantly, WooCommerce caters to those who look for flexibility, that is, whose who have specific needs to apply in their niches and have the way of doing so. Alternatives such as Shopify don't always allow that, or when they do, you'd need to buy/subscribe to extension. As in many other open-source alternatives, it has a large community with all sorts of tweaks and implementations that will allow your store to convert more. Plus, although TLS certificates might not be automatically added like they are on Shopify, several implementations allow for even more (custom) security than you'd be able to add in other platforms.

Cons

Being free and open source does not mean that your experience will be fully free or even affordable, and in that case, it happens with extensions. Many good extensions are paid or even require a subscription, so I'd recommend that you look up for potential extensions you might need according to your store's needs before you implement WooCommere.

### "Good tool for ecommerce back end"

August 12, 2019

4.0

Pros

Very easy to use, can be set up and used in a very short time. It supports a wide range of plug ins and have many features, some free and some other free, for sure. Very clear and complete dashboard, where it is very easy to find whatever you are looking for. My favorite feature of woocommerce is that it is very customizable. Payment and shipping side side, it support different gateways (credit cards, paypal, cash on delivery for example) and and different shipping fees/methods. It also allows to you set different final prices according to the market, and same for taxes.

Cons

Main points to consider are these two: Unlikely other ecommerce platforms that are on the market nowadays that you can easily use without having any knowledge on the field, woocommerce is easy to use but a good dose of common sense and minimum knowledge is needed to use it Support is basically nonexistent so you should find information through forums and comments from other users.

### "A worthy consideration for on the cheap self managed E-Comm"

August 2, 2019

4.0

Has been quite positive. Just because of the Wordpress platform being susceptible to poor plugins, overall need to be careful. Also upgrading Wordpress and WooComm can be a tricky issue if you've made customizations and installed plugins.

Pros

Based on Wordpress, Woo Commerce is also Free Again because of the Wordpress platform, Woo-commerce is quite extendable Extendable It Works as expected and is a decent option for E-Commerce. Easy to use, if you are okay Self Managing this is a good option.

Cons

Poor Reporting (all paid) Plugins/Extendability is all dependent on the quality of the plugins. A lot of poorly written plugins floating around.

### "Woo makes building your own online store easy"

December 17, 2022

5.0

I've used Woo to set up a few online stores and the end users have always been happy with the outcome. Being part of the Wordpress ecosystem means there are all sorts normalities to extend the core functionality of Woo as well.

Pros

WooCommerce was easy to set up and was a natural fit for existing Wordpress-based websites. Woo handles all aspects of online ordering, making life easier.

Cons

It does take some getting used to if you're not already familiar with Wordpress, but there's a learning curve to any new software.

### "eCommerce site made easy"

August 15, 2019

5.0

WooCommerce is one of the world's most popular plugins for a reason. It provides the options to completely set up any sort of transaction in your site for free. While it can be a bit overwhelming for users who are just starting out, there a lot of helpful resources. Pretty much a tonne of tutorials are available of the popular WooCommerce plugin along with great community resources.

Pros

The range of options and flexibility in WooCommerce is absolutely astounding. No matter what kind of subscription, membership, single/group product price tag you want in your site- WooCommerce has it. No matter what kind of transaction a site needs, a WooCommerce integration is all it takes to easily add price tags and shopping cart to your site. It handles most of the hassle of the transaction for you.

Cons

The UX within the plugin can definitely be improved for users who are not that tech-savvy. If the plugin navigation was made easy, WooCommerce will stay unbeatable.

### "Great online support"

March 30, 2021

We always start integrating woocommerce thinking we can limit our client to basic functionalities but we always have to extend the basic plugin package

Pros

Cons

Old html structure, rusty, old fashion and sometimes obsolete. Today we could think a better solution for html/css.

### "A Powerhouse eCommerce Platform for WordPress"

February 6, 2021

5.0

Started developing eCommerce websites back in 1998 and things have come on a long way. I'm not sure why it took me so long to try Woocommerce although it is a pleasure to use. Simple to set up a store and filled with features that will make your online store have all the bells and whistle. A must for eCommerce in my opinion.

Pros

Simple to install and a doddle to use. Beautifully crafted piece of software that anyone can get there heads around. Excellent documentation, tutorials and how-to guides all over the web. The people behind Woocommerce care.

Cons

Woocomerce have loads of plugins that they charge some hefty prices for, although this is probably understandable as the main platform is totally free. I still feel they might be able to do something on their pricing or offer membership packages.
