Cons Like mentioned, there are a ton of plugins available that cost extra to get some fairly basic functionality. Pros I really like the fact that WooCommerce makes it possible to create a webshop very easily, there are lot's of integrations available. The store looks great. The plug in tools are easy to add to help bump up store performance. Pros I was nervous to get behind a website and be responsible to change and edit the site. It was such a surprise that it wasn't that hard! The software is fairly intuitive and has little info bubbles for most fields, giving you more information before you fill it out/select it. Cons Could be more intuitive. I spent quite a lot of time finding certain areas to edit, when it shouldn't be that difficult... price of an item, for example. Healing Coach E-Learning Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Easy to Setup IF You Have Some Wordpress Knowledge" December 20, 2022 4.0 Pros I downloaded WooCommerce onto my established Wordpress site. I was thankful it easily integrated in and didn't require much code. I even chose some additional add-ons (at cost) so I could host my courses and a few other features with woo-commerce plugin. I'm pretty well versed in wordpress but still had to watch some videos to get my settings accurate and how I wanted them customized. I do like how I now have my own shop on my website and it was fairly easy to setup. Cons A con would be the complexity of the add-ons. Woo-commerce in general isn't totally intuitive. It can be hard to find things and I spent a lot of time on forums/videos those first few weeks. Reason for choosing WooCommerce I chose woo-commerce over shopify after reading reviews and seeing that the basics of woo-commerce were free compared to shopify's pricing structure. Pros At first, I wanted a compact solution and quickly I realized I needed a product that would grow with my business and WooCommerce suits my current vision for my business. Cons I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner unless they had someone to set this up for them. There are so many moving pieces that it can be overwhelming. Allows for small installations as well as growing sites. Cons Negatives are small on these themes as you can normally find an extension to add any missing functionality. It works best if you know what these requirements are at the outset though so you can see what the total cost is as it is very easy to keep increasing budget with continual small additions.
