### "Woocommerce is Great!"

November 9, 2022

5.0

I think the program is well thought out, covers just about everything you need to finish a sale with a customer and have very attractive elements for a fully finished product that is astically pleasing with excellent functionality.

Pros

It had a bit of learning curve but not as much as most programs, I found it pretty easy to pick up the first time I used it. Tutorials were written well and easy to follow when I did have a problem. Integrating other products went smoothly with no glitches.

Cons

There are many features to the program and it will take awhile to learn the extent of all of them. So, although, I found it pretty easy to get started, there is much to learn and may take awhile to fully grasp all the features. Coding needed to be done to fix a theme layout issue.

### "The most customizable and affordable online store"

October 13, 2022

5.0

I have built several shops using Woocommerce and it works extremely well. I use different themes and plugins depending on the project, the flexibility is just amazing, and you don't even need to know how to code to build a great shop.

Pros

With Woocommerce you can start selling within a couple of days, if you are familiar with the environment it could be even quicker, the system out of the box would let you sell physical products with variations, group products, and digital ones. It integrates with many payment processors around the world and it does manage inventory, and the best part, it is free. However, you can buy premium themes and plugins to extend the capabilities of the shop.

Cons

It can be overwhelming for new users since there are too many settings to take care of. Also, it may not be the best option if you want to sell services, downloads, or digital products where you just need to charge and send an email.

Reason for choosing WooCommerce

Woocommerce is an entire store system where every single detail is customizable and it has tons of integrations, I considered Gigrove for the ease to use but the design is too basic and the features not so powerful.

### "WooCommerce is best and most powerful system available for Ecommerce business"

March 19, 2022

My overall experience was really good with Woocommerce. Till now not getting any single issue. And the community of woo-commerce is very strong if any assistance is required they always help us to do the work.

Pros

We freely use all those features shipping, tax management selling digital and physical goods all those things we have simply done with woo-commerce without any complexity. with the integration of any 3rd party, gateway payment collection is also simple & effective.

Cons

Easily we configure this system with WordPress without any complexity. Every single thing regarding Woocomerce is easy to operate from the wide WordPress dashboard we manage our orders and payments-related data from our dashboard.

### "WooCommerce. Conoce sus ventajas"

November 18, 2022

4.0

### "My Honest truth about Woocommerce"

It is one of the best e-commerce management softwares in the world.

Pros

I like the templates because that is how I also started and it made the process of having to start my own online business that much easier.

Cons

I don't like that the woocommerce software is pretty intimidating at first and that there's a slight learning curve you have to go through.

### "The single best online store platform"

April 27, 2022

5.0

Woocommerce is the best off-the-shelf ecommerce platform and powers all of our online stores.

Pros

Woocommerce is probably one of the most popular e-commerce plugins built soley for Wordpress. It is quick and easy to set up, add as many products and variations as you want. Support for catalogs and more. The inbuilt payment gateway is a nice touch.

Cons

There is a learning curve with the software and is not the most straight forward to use compared with Shopify. It severely lacks decent bulk editing which can make price increases across lots of variations a slow and loborious process.

### "The Best Option for your online Store"

April 21, 2022

5.0

I have used Woocommerce mostly to sell some T-shirts and mugs. My main merchandise is digital goods (video downloads) and I had a bad experience trying to set up Woocommerse with the Amazon S2 plugin (according to support articles, the issue was from their side, not Woocommerce's). In general, Woocommerce works great, unfortunately my main issue is that the only payment options available are Paypal or direct bank deposit. Credit / Debit card demands a whole process from banks and bureaucracy that I don't want to deal with.

Pros

It's the most popular plugin to set ups an online store. Features great customization , so you can personalize according to your site design. Also great support from the community

Cons

Unfortunately, many of the payment options that Woocommerce has, are not available in my country. I can only use Paypal and direct bank deposit. Also, the plugin is not the best to manage digital goods in case you're planing to sell that

### "WooCommerce - Great system! Not perfect! But is anything really perfect?"

January 28, 2021

4.0

I personally believe the 'pros' outweigh the 'cons' when considering WooCommerce as an E-commerce platform. I've built multiple sites using WooCommerce that would have $cost tens of thousands of dollars had a Developer been required to code all of these functions. My advice would always be - find a high quality / low-cost Developer (using one of the online labour aggregator sites e.g. Upwork) who has a wealth of recent WooCommerce experience (particularly with the functionality you are looking to achieve) and accept that not everything will work perfectly (or even be compatible) straight 'out of the box'. At the end of the day, if you priced all of the code that has been contributed to make WooCommerce what it is today - it would probably cost $billions to rebuild. So the next time you're criticising 'free' - remember that nothing is ever free.

Pros

There are too many pro's to mention with WooCommerce, but i love the fact that it is Open Source which ensures thousands of plugins are available to extend the functionality of WooCommerce. And this is Woocommerce's biggest strength - It can quite feasibly allow a micro-size company to operate like an Enterprise (e-biz), including building end-to-end workflow automation across an entire business operation. Remarkably, this business panacea (end-2-end) can conceivably be achieved free of charge, or for only a few hundred dollars (plus A LOT of Developer and Administrator time).

Cons

WooCommerce doesn't come without Con's, and it's vitally important to recognise them. The main 'con' for me is the fact that because you have an 'infrastructure' that allows you to 'act' like an Enterprise - the temptation is to do so. This is where cost, resources, licences, etc can start to rack up. WooCommerce DOES NOT provide everything out of the box, but rather through a series of Modules (1st & 3rd party) that come at a cost. If you purchase from WooCommerce (Automattic) you pay a premium for each module (but you get support). If you purchase from 3rd party devs you typically pay a lower cost for the module (but the support is often questionable, as are the 'upgrades', 'compatibility roadmap', etc). So, although WooCommerce is an incredible toolset for building an Enterprise-style e-commerce platform, it is not always plain sailing.

Love Shopify as well (as WooCommerce), but feel that WooCommerce gives the owner more control, more functionality, and more opportunities to create an end-2-end digital workflow. But, there's also a lot to be said for having a simpler system that doesn't allow you to get carried away.

### "The best E-Commerce Platform with Some Drawbacks"

February 16, 2023

5.0

WooCommerce is an excellent e-commerce platform that allows you to easily set up an online store and start selling your products. With a wide range of features, integrations, and customization options, it's no wonder that WooCommerce is one of the most popular e-commerce solutions available.

Pros

WooCommerce is a powerful e-commerce plugin that seamlessly integrates with WordPress to help users set up and manage online stores quickly and easily. It's an excellent option for small businesses that can't afford a complex e-commerce platform and want to create a custom web store. With WooCommerce, you can build a free WordPress website and have full ownership of your entire site. The plugin also provides a user-friendly interface and a wide range of add-ons to improve your store's functionality and features, such as payment systems integration, filtering options, and cryptocurrency payment plugins. In addition, the WooCommerce community is active and supportive, providing valuable resources to help users complete tasks with ease.

Cons

Despite its many advantages, WooCommerce is not without its flaws. The most cons that I have noticed with my +2 years of using Woocommerce, One common issue is that the platform has many external extensions that are poorly coded and can cause bloat, which may result in website crashes. Another problem is that WooCommerce is a heavy plugin that can significantly increase the load time of your website. This means that updates must be vetted in a test environment before going live, which can be time-consuming and disruptive for store owners. Additionally, some essential functionalities like one-page checkouts and quantity discounts require purchasing additional plugins, which can add to the overall cost and slow down your website. Finally, some third-party functionalities can be expensive, and the pricing model is the same for small and large businesses, which may not be the most cost-effective option for all users.

### "Decent Product "

February 22, 2023

4.0

My overall experience on a scale of 1-10 I’d say is 7. It can be used for a small business that doesn’t deal with hefty transactions daily

Pros

So I used woocomerce to receive payments for an e-learning platform that I created on wordpress. It integrates very easy with wordpress and has a decent interface on the back end. It has a mobile app that allows you view your orders and in a way categorize them and a few reminder notes to each order. It allows you integrate various payment gateways like stripe and paypal and plenty more via use or account authentication or through the use of api access keys. Its a decent app that performs its job effectively at the back end

Cons

I have to say my main con is the load time it takes when charging a card and another downside is the frequent updates you have to keep up with on wordpress in other for it to keep functioning as it should. The mobile app is also a bit limited in functionality but then its nice when you get an order and get notified via the app notification. It also crashes when a lot of users try to purchase all at the same time.

### "Power Up Your Online Store with WooCommerce"

February 19, 2023

5.0

WooCommerce has generally been well-received as a flexible and powerful e-commerce solution for businesses of all sizes. I appreciate its ease of use, flexibility, and integration with WordPress, as well as its large community of developers and users who contribute to its development and provide support.

Pros

WooCommerce is very user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for beginners to set up an online store. The plugin is highly flexible and can be customized to meet the specific needs of any business. It has a large and active community of developers and users who contribute to the plugin's development and provide support to users.Anyone can take advantage of the vast range of plugins available on the WordPress platform. WooCommerce is open-source software, which means it's free to use and can be modified and customized by developers. It supports a variety of payment options, including credit cards, PayPal, and Stripe.Design is SEO-friendly, which can help improve your store's visibility in search engines and drive more traffic to your site. WooCommerce stores are mobile responsive, which means they can be accessed and used easily on mobile devices.

Cons

WooCommerce is highly customizable, but this can lead to plugin overload. Using too many plugins can slow down your site and make it difficult to manage. It may require more resources and customization than other e-commerce platforms to handle high traffic and large numbers of products.

### "WooCommerce: The secret weapon of e-commerce"

January 16, 2023

5.0

Overall, WooCommerce has been a valuable tool for our company. Its integration with WordPress, ease of use, and flexibility have made it easy for me to create and manage our online store. The variety of plugins and extensions available have added additional functionality to our store, but it requires constant maintenance to ensure security. While the platform may not have all the advanced features out of the box, the plugin repository offers a wide variety of options to improve and expand the functionality.

Pros

One of the biggest advantages of this software is its integration with WordPress. This has made it easy for me to create and manage our online store, as well as maintain our company website. Additionally, the ease of use and flexibility of WooCommerce has made it easy for me to customize the look and feel of our store to match our brand. Another great feature of WooCommerce is the variety of plugins and extensions available. These have allowed me to add additional functionality to our store, such as social media integration and improved shipping and payment options. The plugin repository is vast, and it has been very easy for me to find and install the ones I need to improve the functionality of our store.

Cons

While WooCommerce offers a wide range of features, some advanced features such as inventory management and reporting may require additional plugins or custom development, which can add to the cost.

### "Good and bad experiences with Woocommerce. "

October 7, 2022

It’s been ok and got us to where we need to be. We are thinking of switching away in the future mainly due to inventory management not being great, and very time consuming.

Pros

It’s easy to set up, simple to customise layout and overall look of the website. Very inexpensive compared to the majority of competition.

Cons

Slow and sluggish at times. A long and drawn out process to add new products with multiple sizes. No matter how high our security is, we have still been hacked twice.

### "The Best Ecommerce Plugin for WordPress"

April 27, 2022

5.0

My general experience is that without WooCommerce it would not be possible to create a complete eCommerce store in WordPress easily and for free.

Pros

What strikes me the most about WooCommerce is that in the generate sense it allows us to set up an e-commerce store without writing any code and guides us step by step. When we activate this plugin and configure it well, we don't need anything else to get our store up and running. It allows us to configure from the creation of simple products, variable products with different colors, sizes, group products to External Products or affiliates. But not only this, but it allows us to put the price, discount price, quantity in inventory, if the product is physical, downloadable or Virtual as an event; we can also configure VAT, shipping, etc. Other options that it allows us to configure are the types of payments, if they are with a Credit Card (although an additional plugin is needed), or with PayPal, Bank Transfer, by checks, etc. It allows us to configure the Cart, the Checkout, etc. In short, it is a very complete complement and best of all totally free.

Cons

I would like it to have more options to be able to modify the design, also that they could create a mobile application.

### "WooCommerce can turn any WordPress website into a store"

August 9, 2022

I have used several e-commerce projects using WooCommerce and it works very well.

Pros

I like that WooCommerce is a free plugin, it is well-established, and many people use it. It is easy to get paid support from freelancers and consultants. It works well the PayPal and Stripe payment gateways and the MailPoet, email service platform.

### "Good eCommerce Solution if You Want to Get out From Under a Limited Platform"

January 14, 2023

4.0

WooCommerce is my go-to eCommerce solution and it works very well. There are only a few drawbacks that are worth the hassle to have such a full-featured option.

Pros

By far the most beneficial part of WooCommerce is that it works on WordPress which means you're completely unlimited in your ability to customize the system how you like. With other eCommerce solutions such as Shopify or SquareSpace, you're stuck with whatever that have in their closed system whereas with WooCommerce the sky is the limit with what you can do.

Cons

WooCommerce is a heavy plugin that adds a lot to a website and as a result, updates must be vetted in a test environment in order to be safe. This wasn't a problem a few years ago when WooCommerce only released updates once every 1 or 2 months. Over the last few years, they've begun releasing updates with no apparent schedule and sometimes you get multiple updates in the same week. This can be very disruptive and labor intensive for store owners to have to test the updates first and look for issues/bugs before going live with a new update just to have to do it all over again a few days later (sometimes even in the very next day).

Pros

Cons

### "Great e-commerce tool --- unfortunately it is on Wordpress"

May 18, 2022

4.0

I have several Woocommerce stores and deal with many others that are owned and run by other people. I have good experiences with it, it is a high-quality product and even if it is not perfect, it is light-years ahead of many competitors.

Pros

It is free but still offers all necessary functionalities to start and run an online store. It is easy to use and there are a lot of extra functionalities available, some paid, some free.

Cons

The biggest dislike I have is that it runs on WordPress. It is very unfortunate, but we must live with it. Another dislike is that some of the 3rd party functionalities are very expensive compared to what they offer. The pricing is the same for a tiny new store and a well-established big online giant. I would rather see some other kind of pricing models for some of the plugins, but...

Reason for choosing WooCommerce

Shopify has a lot of hype around it, but when you start using it you will find out its shortcomings - which there are many. For example, try creating discount campaigns while offering individual coupons and see how well that goes. They have promised to fix the basics for years, but I lost hope waiting. Wix and Squarespace might be easy options for non-techies, but have serious limitations if you want to do more customized stores. Plus, with all of these three software, you are married to their service and servers, and there is no way out. Woocommerce store is built and you can move it somewhere else if you want, you can close it for a year and open it again if you want. It is yours. Wix, Squarespace and Shopify stores are not.

### "WooCommerce"

December 16, 2022

5.0

From Fiverr to Upwork, I have used WooCommerce on many client projects and it's with all confidence that I recommend this plugin if you're searching for an AI eCommerce Builder. It works pretty well.

Pros

Personally, WooCommerce is an awesome tool for eCommerce business. It can turn any type of website into a professional eCommerce store. It works perfectly with any well-coded theme. It offers a lot of integrations that generally broaden its functionality and help the business owner to virtually replicate anything they could do in a physical store---I mean, just look how awesome the technology is helping us today.WooCommerce is pretty easy to set up as there're helpful guides for it . It helps to improve SEO, engagement, and sales. It offers many interesting features including product reviews which help in building trust in customers and ultimately help in conversion. The product variable option provides possibilities to showcase a single product variation upon a mouse hover. This helps the client to make better product choices and it enhances the product quality.WooCommerce makes it even easier for store owners to collect payments from customers. Just with the stripe and PayPal integration, the client can checkout via Paypal or credit cards ----- this completely erases the need of going to a local bank to send checks.

Cons

WooCommerce is very laggy in support responses. The customer support service is too slow to respond even for users with paid add-ons.

### "Amazing plugin to Build that store or any E-Commerce site."

March 27, 2022

Notwithstanding, it is free which implies everything won't come totally free. WooCommerce has a few premium augmentations for explicit elements and capacities. The primary inconvenience, nonetheless, is the refreshed approach and its reliance on the other modules and the shop subject. This implies: If WooCommerce makes an update, you shouldn't tap on Update right away, however, test your shop completely in a shut test climate. Because of the large number of other modules, there can be tremendous issues with the shop. The explanation is that most module and subject engineers are not so quick with their updates.

Pros

WooCommerce is one of the most incredible modules for the WordPress stages. Using the WooCommerce plugin anybody can begin their web-based online business site and can sell everything. Its use is very easy because WooCommerce is a user-friendly plugin. Anybody it's can use free. you can just introduce the module, set up a few essential data, and afterward set up your Payment Gateway and Good to Go. Add item and sell, Digital or Physical, each sort of item.

Cons

WooCommerce is the best stage where you can have your absolute cut of pay, No need to pay for using the stage or module. In any case, in a couple of unequivocal cases, you want to purchase a top-notch module. However, Using WooCommerce you can take your 100% pay deal, and you can manage everything with complete straightforwardness with your clients.

### "Best e-commerce option by mixed feelings"

April 29, 2021

5.0

I use WooCommerce daily for multiple clients' websites. My clients are happy with their e-commerce functionality and I rarely encounter issues from the webmaster side of things. You have the option to customize it to the extreme, or if your selling needs are basic, you can setup an e-commerce site quickly and very easily.

Pros

First, it's free. That's not entirely true though because anything additional you want to add will likely cost money; most add-ons are $79. Still even if you get two add-ons, $160 a year is a drop in the bucket compared to most other e-commerce. The MAIN reason I use and recommend Woo is it's compatibility. Because it's so widely used, it can integrate with anything and everything. Every bank has a payment gateway that connects to WooCommerce (via plugin - sometimes free, sometimes $79). It's relatively user-friendly. When you get into the settings though, there are tabs across the top, but then there are little tiny links within the tabs sometimes that aren't easily spotted.

Cons

Sometimes it feels like a monopoly - like you use WooCommerce or Shopify and the later of the two is dreadful. The WordPress community is incredibly helpful, but you have to know where to go to ask for help.

Reason for choosing WooCommerce

The ability to customize WooCommerce is so much greater than any of the DIY site builders. You can control variations like size, color, case size. You can manage inventory. You can accept payment through any bank's gateway or any of the main credit card processors. You can control and customize the emails that clients get.
