### "Review of WooCommerce"

July 5, 2024

5.0

Pros

Comprehensive Features: WooCommerce provides a robust set of features out of the box. From product management and inventory tracking to payment processing and shipping options, it covers all essential aspects of running an online store. The additional extensions available further enhance its capabilities.

Cons

Complex Setup for Advanced Features: While basic setup is straightforward, configuring advanced features and integrations can be complex. For users without technical expertise, this might necessitate hiring a developer or investing time in learning the intricacies of the platform.

### "Woocommerce is the 'go to' for e-commerce"

June 19, 2024

5.0

Wouldn't go anywhere else to start building a shop and with literally hundreds of plugins available there is little you cannot achieve.

Pros

Easy to use with many inbuilt features to give you most standard things to design a shop.

Cons

First time learning curve is high, but once you done it once is much easier.

### "Freemium ecommerce that racks up quickly."

June 11, 2024

3.0

For simple ecommerce setups, WooCommerce is smooth and easy to use. Again, if you have any sort of custom (even conventional) shipping, coupons, or store setups, you're stuck paying for extras that add up pretty quickly.

Pros

For the most basic of ecommerce setups, you can't beat free for Woocommerce. It's made by the same people that make WordPress, so it integrates very smoothly.

Cons

If you want to do anything of any complexity at all, you're stuck either writing a bunch of code yourself or paying yearly fees on their plugins.

Alternatives considered

[Shopify](https://www.capterra.com/p/83891/Shopify/)

Reason for choosing WooCommerce

Woocommerce itself is free and works within the confines of your own site, while Shopify forces you into its infrastructure, for better or worse.

### "Good if You are Using Wordpress"

July 26, 2024

5.0

Pros

If your focus is on Blogging and content creation using Word Press, WooCom is a great option, but I was not and have since moved to Shopify.

Cons

It wasn't easy enough for me and using it on WordPress, I didn't want to have to rely on a developer, so I moved to Shopify for something I could do myself.

Alternatives considered

[Shopify](https://www.capterra.com/p/83891/Shopify/)

Reason for choosing WooCommerce

I did initially due to the web developer I was using, but I now use Shopify

WooComerce is a good option if you are familiar with WordPress. I recommend WooComerce for WordPress users who need to implement fast an eCommerce solution.

Cons

Our website is shifting from WordPress to Webflow, so now we can use other eCommerce options. WooCommerce is good but is not the best option on the market. Sometimes you can struggle to get the things donem

### "WooCommerce for commerce"

May 17, 2024

5.0

Overall WooCommerce is a powerful plugin that you can integrate with WordPress and other plugins to create a powerful and well optimized shop.

Pros

The most powerful feature of WooCommerce is its integration with WordPress. Creating a theme with a page WordPress builder or just buying one is easy and save you a lot of time. WordPress plugins for SEO, speed optimization and security help creating a powerful website where you can sell products and services.

Cons

With multiple items you webhosting needs to be powerful.

### "Best open source platform with over 60,000 plugins"

May 3, 2024

5.0

It is far easier to use out of the box while still allowing control and customization than any other platform.

Pros

Legible code, easy to understand and customize

Cons

Frequent updates forcing constant development of customized code to ensure compatibility. To be fair, this is largely due to outside influences like hackers and cyber crooks targeting wordpress as a whole.

June 18, 2024

Pros

We use WooCommerce as the backend of our online store. It hasn't given us any issues and we love that there are no annual fees for us!

Cons

As someone who isn't a developer, I struggled to learn the platform at first. I recommend working with a professional to get up and running.

### "WooCommerce"

May 3, 2024

5.0

Pros

I cant see a way to sell online without WooCommerce. There are 2 main features that i love, it combines very good with WordPress plugins, this can increase SEO, website speed and many more. Second feature are the themes, there are so many already made themes or builders to choose from.

Cons

Hosting is important for big shops with many products. A feature to inform that you need more resources to operate will be a nice feature.

### "Good software if you like Wordpress if not search elsewhere"

May 16, 2024

4.0

Pros

I like that it's an all in one plug in that helps you run your online store.

Cons

I am biased in the sense that I find Wordpress to be a very clunky and outdated platform to use. As such I found woocommerce to be a little clunky as well to the point I migrated over to Shopify.

### "Entrez dans la grande communauté de WooCommerce"

January 7, 2024

4.0

Pros

### "Easy to use"

May 16, 2024

4.0

Pros

It was easy to use, and very basic set up. We ended up switching to Shopify to have more advanced features, themes, and analytics rolled up. Free is always a plus, but you pay for plug-ins etc.

Cons

We found the themes to be a little outdated and features to be very limited. We also do not have an in-house dev team so maintaining the store was always a bigger cost.

### "Grow your business by WooCommerce."

March 3, 2023

4.0

Pros

I like the many things about WooCommerce but mostly like the categorization and mobile website management feature. This feature make my life so cool. I really recommend to evto use WooCommerce.

Cons

I never found any cons about the WooCommerce. But I really want to say that WooCommerce should add more features in mobile management. So user can maintain their website with mobile like PC. Overall I love the WooCommerce and I recommend to everyone to use it and make it more better.

### "For Ecommerce platforms, WooCommerce offers the best value for money by far."

April 4, 2024

4.0

I have been building and running many of my own Woocommerce stores over the past 15 years, personally designing, building and publishing the stores as well as sourcing the products, managing the logistics, order processing and customer care. Over the past 5 years,, I have been doing the same for clients, including SEO and online marketing of the Woocommerce stores.

Pros

The basic Woocommerce platform delivers all the features needed to run a successful e-commerce shop for most industries or niche services. The thousands of specialist plugins that expand on this basic platform make it suitable for any specialisation you can think of. On top of it all, the platform is free and most plugins have a free tier that is sufficient for most situations. All you need to add is hosting, a domain, some WordPress knowledge and time and you can build a powerful ecommmerce store withouot the high monthly rates of competing platforms.

Cons

You need to invest some time in learning the basics of the platform if you want to build you own store. Alternatively, you can engage a WordPress developer at reasonable rates to build your site.

Affordability and flexibility. SHopify is a powerful platform but can quickly become very expensive to run, especially when adding extensions. This is especially penalising in the setup hases of the store before the turnover can take care of the platform costs. I'd rather invest the high Shopify platform cost into ad spend that can directly benefit my business.

### "Good product but more free features needed"

January 18, 2024

3.0

It's done the job but hopefully a better competitor arrives on the scene which will include more features for a fraction of the price (price includes for features not included for free).

Pros

The integration with Wordpress which is what we use for CMS. It's quite simple once setup, and allows a smooth customer journey from entering the store to purchasing.

Cons

The issues from updates; always have to backup (good procedure anyway) as well as the security bloatware required in order to setup/use WooCommerce.

### "Muito boa para gestão de estoque "

April 8, 2024

5.0

Pros

### "A very good option with no coding setup"

September 7, 2023

5.0

Me and my clients and my developer are very happy and familiar with woocommerce, so we are really happy to suggest this solution as the opportunity arises.

Pros

I like that anyone can setup easily his online store thanks to Woocommerce. Already in its standard installation is comprehensive of everything an e-shop needs to be ready.

Cons

Some interesting features are paid features from the official woocommerce channels. So, to be really competitive with other e-shop platform, woocommerce needs a certain number of third party plugins.

Alternatives considered

[PrestaShop](https://www.capterra.com/p/134005/PrestaShop/)

Reason for choosing WooCommerce

Is an integration to a website or blog system, so i thought it was more dynamic than a solution stricly made for selling online. Marketing for online selling works with blogs nowadays.

### "Great experience using Woocommerce (and I've tried all the others!)"

January 10, 2024

4.0

I have tried various ecommerce platforms, but none of them compare to Woocommerce. Whenever I set up websites for clients, I always choose Woocommerce for their ecommerce needs. Based on my extensive experience testing popular ecommerce platforms, I can confidently say that Woocommerce is the best option. I highly recommend it, especially for beginners or users with limited technical ability. It is powerful, comprehensive, and works flawlessly. Throughout all my usage, I have never encountered any glitches or disappointments.

Pros

I love how reliable, easy-to-use, and beginner friendly it is - in particular for an experienced WordPress user.

Cons

It is a bit on the pricey side if you want to add any of their featured plugins.

Reason for choosing WooCommerce

Easy to use, easy to manage, I actually ENJOY using Woocommerce and don't feel intimidated by it in the slightest (and I'm not a huge tech person!)

### "l'e-commerce migliore per Wordpress"

March 26, 2024

4.0

Cons

Alcune sezioni sono poco personalizzabili.
