I don't have to worry about it. I just do the payroll and move on to more important items for my business. Pros Set up was very quick and seamless. I am able to adjust my payroll runs based on my business cycle. There were no additional costs. Cons Had difficulty with some state reporting. It was eventually fixed but took a couple of months. I would never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone. Pros The software was pretty easy to use overall. My employee liked the interface as well. Cons They were extremely pushy when I was thinking about signing up. Non-stop phone calls and pressure. I finally did sign up and then had problem after problem including them not filing my last quarter taxes (and then refusing to fix the problem when I started getting calls from the state). Pros The software is easy to use even for people who are not computer savvy. I particularly like the fact that they handle all the taxes which gives me ample time to tend to my company's needs. I also like the security feature to access my account. Cons Other than a couple of Fridays where I had to hold for upwards of 8 minutes to talk to someone in customer service, I have not had any complaints. SurePayroll protects me from myself! Pros They are so much better than ADP. They actually ANSWER THE PHONE. And they provide helpful answers and are patient and knowledgeable. And I like the 401K feature. Cons Not sure. Honestly, I tend to just call in when I need to change something. I'm old. March 5, 2019 5.0 Accruing sick and vacation time for my employees after an easy one-time set-up is my favorite part of this software. I'm a new user, but so far everything is going fine. Pros I can accrue time off by hours worked for each employee. This is very important in Washington state, where employers are required to accrue 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked, regardless of whether they are full or part time. Cons I don't have complete flexibility over my pay dates. I would like to be able to print my paychecks for the same day I'm running the payroll. It's set up for direct deposit to be able to deposit the funds in about 2 business days, but I'm writing checks for my employees, and I can't change the date, unless I hand write them. Pros SurePayroll is very simple to use when entering hours, pay rates, etc. It figures all the necessary payroll information with one click. Cons Editing payroll dates has been a problem. We need to change the weekly payday but I can't find the right setting to make it default to the day I want. I have to change it every week.
