Most of our stakeholders are not technically minded, so it was essential that we could present the complex timelines with many interdependencies to these stakeholders. The experience of creating a project plan is made so straightforward thanks to GanttPro’s simple user interface. There is ample online support, should you need it, but I found the tool intuitive enough to not have to. Pros GanttPro is a very easy tool to use for scheduling tasks, managing resources and defining timelines. We have a complex delivery environment, which requires us to be very thorough in our ability to track dependencies across multiple workstreams. Pros I have found GanttPRO easy to use. I have managed to create a number of project schedules without too much trouble as the tool is very intuitive to use when compared with other tools on the market. No matter your experience, you will be up and running in a relatively short time. GanttPro has all the basic features I need and the user interface is modern and contemporary, making it ideal for sharing your schedules with key stakeholders on your project. If you manage multiple projects that are part of a programs or portfolio within your organisation, then you'll find the Portfolios and Workload functions very useful for managing your resources. Further, having the ability to combine all your projects and resources in one consolidated view, which can be set-up within a few clicks, is simply fantastic. Being browser-based, I like the fact I can review and update my schedules from any location. It is also possible to share your schedules with members of your team who don't have a license to GanttPro, by generating a link, which is perfect if you need to communicate the latest schedule with them. Cons As mentioned by another reviewer, there is a mimum requirement to purchase 5 seats on the paid plans, which can be an issue from a cost perspective if you don't need all 5 seats.
