Me contactaron de Beyond para gestionar la estrategia de precios de mi agencia con más de 60 propiedades. Me confirmaron unas condiciones que no se cumplieron, establecieron los precios que ellos quisieron y los activaron sin revisar manualmente si la estrategia estaba en mercado. Resultado? - Grandes pérdidas económicas porque entraron reservas a precios ridículos en temporada alta. - Propietarios enfadados debido a esas pérdidas. - Cobro de comisiones no acordadas. Había acordado un 1% SIN incluir el precio de limpieza y cuando reviso los cobros me incluyen todo el importe total. Se lo notifico y me dicen que lo sienten y me dan créditos. Les comunico que eso no es lo acordado y proceden con amenazas.

Overall a good experience, not completely blown away but at the same time it gets the booking done.

Pros

The ability to book and reserve without paying the full amount upfront is a nice feature when budgeting.

Cons

The price overall could be a bit lower. Although you dont have to pay all of it up front, it still seems high in the end.

### "Not recommended, they owe us over £200!"

Negative experience as they’ve charged over £200 in “non-billable” transactions and will not refund it as we had just 15 days to spot their flaw!

Pros

The ability to detect demand changes and to adapt prices based on that.

Cons

The have a flaw in the system where they will charge you for what they call a “non-billable” transaction. If you’re connected to a channel manager and you create bookings manually, they still charge for this and expect you to tell them within 15 days for a refund. Not very good for those of us who want a fully automated service.

mediocre. Staff is nice and helpful, but results have been extremely disappointing.

Pros

Easy to setup "gap fill" to be able to rent dates the would normally be lost due to nightly minimums. Integrates with Lodgix. Some market place data through insights.

Cons

\-Bookings fell off by over 50% once Beyond came online. -Far over charges for properties. -So far has resulted in less bookings, shorter stays, less lead time on bookings. ---All of this is in contrast to my 16 years of experience. Airbnb & VRBO account managers tell me I'm behind competitors in my area by nearly 40%. Airbnb says they see 96 days lead time for reservations and VRBO is 132 days lead time for reservations. But yet Beyond tells me to expect a 53 day lead time for reservations. This is contrary to Airbnb, VRBO and my 16 years of experience. -Terms used in Beyond are confusing. (Base price vs min price vs max price) -Booking reviews go away after 7 days. This is just stupid. Why can't I have access to these indefinitely? Being a small business, with only 3 people, I need time to even review these let alone, research, & assess.

### "Horrible Customer service and the platrofm had far too many glitches"

Pros

Its a great concept and can be very useful for pricing airbnb and VRBO based on supply and demand

Cons

Their platform has many syncing issues and you have to frequently check that the prices reflected in Air BNB and VRBO are correct. This defeats the hands off automated approach you are paying for. They also have inaccurate dates for events in your town, this will jack up prices without justification or will not reflect the high-demand prices which will cause you to lose money either way. On top of this, they have horrible customer service. This is like the old days of cable tv horrible customer service. Things were great for the first 8 months I used beyond, however once I started seeing the issues and bringing them to their attention I was flabergasted by the horrible response times, the lack of help, and the ineptness to solve problems in a way that would keep customers.

### "Potential for greatness, but falls short on every aspect, and has costed me significant losses"

Cancelled well within my free one month trial. Firstly, beyond pricing should be paying me- a glitch in their system shortly after signing up caused my booking.com profiles, calendars and 3 years of history to be wiped blank and locked out. Beyond pricing is wholly email-based, and has no support line to call when things go pear shaped. Even once they decided to email me back, after over 12 hours of outage, they refused to help fix it, and simply pointed me to their standard FAQ section. 48 hours without booking.com (and without all of the bookings i crucially lost in the meantime, as booking.com is our main source of profit!) and a 6 hour phone call to booking.com’s IT department, and they were able to help get everything unlocked and reopened- while confirming that it had been Beyond Pricing’s fault in the first place. The lost revenue (the exact opposite of what beyond pricing promises!) and the shoddy support soured me to beyond pricing, and I requested to cancel, with the hope of returning in a year’s time once the kinks in their system were worked out. However, over 2 months after cancelling, I was hunted down & chased via email trail by BP employee \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] for “missing payment”- for what, you may ask? For bookings made during my 100% free one month trial. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] insisted across multiple emails that yes, my account had been cancelled with them only three weeks after signing up, but I still had to pay for the reservations made prior- even though I was within the free trial!

Pros

I love the concept behind this company, but unfortunately, for the below reasons, cannot and will not recommend, and hope they either get their act together or stop trading immediately, before messing up other peoples’ livelihoods and hunting down pennies to boot!

Cons

Email based, no support line, caused significant losses to my business due to glitches in their system which completely erased my booking.com accounts and calendars, leading my properties to be 2 days off line and to be unable to accept any reservations whatsoever, with any pending reservations automatically cancelled. No help in the meantime- I had to spend 6 hours on the phone with Booking.com's IT department to try and fix Beyond Pricing's glitch, meanwhile Beyond Pricing merely emailed me copy and paste FAQs that were unrelated and unhelpful, after long delays.

We have had a great relationship with Beyond and couldn't be happier! Love the fact they operate 24/7/365 behind the scene and have increased our nightly rates so we never feel like we are leaving money on the table.

Don't really have any cons. We have found our partnership lucrative and Beyond is very easy to use and work with.

### "One disappointment after another."

The sale/purchase was ok but once I left the show room, I experience one let down after another. I purchased on a Tuesday and not until Friday did I hear from \[sensitive content hidden\] and only after I reached out to them to see what the holdup was. I was told the office was very busy but will get to me soon. From that point on, every time I reach out to see what the delays was. One excuse after another. A month later, still no title and no registration. I'm expected to drive a street legal golf cart without registration or tags. I have already been pulled over by the police. Lucky for me I carry my bill of sale and he was ok to let me go without a citation. How much longer is it going to take to get this street legal cart legal. I have hesitated to submit this review for fear customer service will only get worst.

Pros

The color and the look of the lifted cart.

Cons

Customer service was pretty much non existing. Little after sale follow-up or service.

### "Beyond makes pricing and revenue work"

We base our business' success upon Beyond - we can't really flourish without it - and will grow based upon the data and insights it provides.

Pros

The initial setup was straightforward and easy to implement. We configured the tool, compared our short term rental property to others based upon location, amenities, etc. and built the seasonal and annual pricing models. The data available in the tool helped us understand regional factors and constraints so that we could be competitive but not 'compete against ourselves' for proper pricing.

Cons

The seasonal pricing seems to be a good idea, but the interface seems to be time-based (e.g., monthly buttons are available, seasonal ones are not). Recommend making all aspects of the interface either seasonal (with user-chosen start/end dates) or monthly for consistency.

Reason for choosing Beyond

We chose Beyond based upon its successful use by friends who manage multiple short term rental properties. We saw their success, and when we were considering various pricing tools, their recommendations of Beyond, and the data they provided, were critical factors in our decision to use Beyond.

### "Great Product to Dynamically Price"

Works great for my needs. It delivers enough of a revenue boost to well justify the cost.

Pros

Beyond Pricing is just that...it's a superior alternative to Airbnb SmartPricing. Beyond Pricing works on the behalf of hosts...not the platform. This productive definitely increased my nightly rate. It integrates pricing from more sources than the OTAs.

Cons

Beyond Pricing continues to improve and they regularly add features. They aren't every market, and some markets are geographically broad. You can set it and forget it with your high season. I've found the pricing then to be very accurate. In the off season I feel like seasonality can be so hyper-local that it doesn't perform quite as well there. They recently added functionality to blanket discount over their predicted price for dates you set...I'm hoping that helps with some of the seasonality issues.

Looked at Wheelhouse and a few others. Beyond Pricing was more in line with where I am right now.

### "Tip of the iceberg"

We use Beyond mainly for dynamic pricing but we know there are several features we are yet to fully utilize but feel we will be able to in time.

Pros

The dynamic pricing tool works well for what we use it for. We have over 30 listings soon to be 40 before the end of the year and it has helped us stay competitive and capitalize as many bookings as possible.

Cons

The calendar navigation is a bit tedious but recently saw they are making changes to help with that. Looking forward to seeing those changes.

### "TOTALLY UNRECOMMENDABLE SOFTWARE"

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND TOTALLY UNRECOMMENDABLE SOFTWARE COMPANY

Pros

We have absolutely no pros for BeyondPricing. After an approximately 6-month use, we were informed by our PMS (a very popular PMS) that it no longer supported any integration with BeyondPricing. Upon addressing the issue directly with BeyondPricing, its management team vehemently denied such issue with the integration. Therefore, we were left without any revenue management software, and had to research and go again through the extensive effort to integrate an alternative revenue management software to our PMS to support our revenue management program. At the least, BeyondPricing could have informed us of the termination of their integration with our PMS.

Cons

On top of denying that its integration with our PMS had been terminated (by the PMS), BeyondPricing FRAUDULENTLY took a last payment of over $2,000 from our credit card and refused to reimbursed it even though BeyondPricing was in breach of contract for not being able to provide the service.

The main benefit is that I no longer have to constantly change rates for different seasons for over 50 rental properties. Beyond Pricing has done all the legwork and adjusts our pricing on a daily basis based on current supply and demand. This is something we could never do on our own, at least not in such depth.

Pros

This software is very easy to use. It also works extremely well with our vacation rental management software and advertising sites. The support is outstanding and the training is great as well. The options make sense and give us a lot of ways to stay booked in a very competitive environment.

Cons

This is not a huge deal, but each of our properties are listed in duplicate due to advertising on multiple sites, such as vrbo, airbnb, etc. We don't have to make multiple changes though. We can make one change to a property rate and that change will travel to the other listings as well. It can be a tad bit confusing at first, but again, not a huge deal.

I really liked the comps section that was part of the program when I bought it but when it was taken away and forced to upgrade for it, it has actually made me start looking at another product.

### "Beyond Pricing Makes Me Money"

I recommend Beyond Pricing to everyone I can. The tool is extremely valuable, and I know I'm making more money and spending less time managing prices than I would be if I were doing it all manually.

Pros

Managing pricing for my vacation rental sounds like it could be a daunting task when taking into account all the variables that can impact the price; however, Beyond Pricing makes it very easy. I love the fact that you just manage your base price and it adjusts everything from there. I've already made a lot more money using Beyond Pricing to get me the optimal rate than I've spent on the product.

Cons

Figuring out my base price was a bit difficult. I used the Nearby Listings to see what would be a good base price to start with, but I found that the base price it was showing me of other listings resulted in prices that were way too high. I ended up adjusting it down and slowly built it up the price as bookings came in. I also found that the base price that seemed to work well in the popular months was too low for the slower months as they booked up well before 30 days out. The data it gives is really helpful and will help me get the optimal rate for the slower months next year.

### "Uncovered hidden revenue!"

Pros

I really enjoy the ease of use of the property calendars...I can literally go in and adjust rates on 100+ properties in a matter of minutes, something I wasn’t able to do through my PMS interface. Before using beyond we relied on our personal knowledge of the pricing in our market/season/best months. The first year we turned on beyond we uncovered that the our season (here in scottsdale) still produced great rates for the month of April. In the past we would really tone down the rates after March (peak season) but once we turned on and trusted beyond our April came in DOUBLE what it had the previous year...this led to an extra 150k in profit for a company our size. Just from that, beyond paid for itself for years to come!

The only think I want to see in the future is nothing, I think the software has been perfected.

Overall its been a good experience, I can set it once and it will always be there, but i like the ability to review and make small adjustments, i.e. 5% up or down. Wish I had more time to dive deeper into the insights and analytics. Also, not sure if you all recommend a set price based on what you see in the market? Maybe you do.

I like the easy of the price optimization feature as well as ability to compare against similar vacation rentals in my area. Also like the industry insights

Cons

Well, the fees..not always sure the price booked is what Beyond Pricing recommended but trusting the process
