While Zapier is great at performing triggered based actions (if-this-then-that), PieSync is used for having all your contacts in real time, 2-way sync (both creates new contacts AND syncs any updates of existing contacts). And while Zapier is an awesome service, this couldn't have been further from truth. PieSync let's you exactly sync data between two apps. Not just push new updates like in Zapier, but "move" a lot of old data to a different location/app. Cons Like any app of this sort, PieSync requires you to know a bit about the mechanics of the apps you're syncing and how their API work. Pros I tried a test of another syncing software but could never get it to work. Luckily I found PieSync which was soooo easy to sync between CC and Salesforce. The ability to set it and forget it is ideal for list building. Would highly recommend. It is what I really need in the synchronization of contacts and it works well. The customer support at that time has provided me with the instructions in some features and they help me to understand on how to use it. Now, I'm a regular user of this tool. Cons It would have be great to get a warning before sync with mailchimp, to warn that some solutions (like mailchimp) send emails when you add a member to it's list! Whilst we could integrate with API's ourselves. The time it takes would outway the cost to our business. Pros It is easy to use, and the customer service is excellent Cons It could be slightly pricey for small businesses, I did have a small problem with some contacts not syncing correctly but the customer support soon solved this.
