Brilliant product, user friendly, cost effective and above all the support you get from the team is consistent, never wait hours for a response, they get in touch quickly and do their upmost to help you with any issues you have.

Pros

I love how easy it is to add text and images, the search engine is brilliant and user friendly. They are always on hand to give you demos on their new features and improvements which is brilliant. If you have an idea this is also taken on board and sometimes it gets implemented too. Great Team, Cost Effective and extremely secure.

Cons

I would like to be able to invoice through the database as that would make life easier although I do think that this will come if more people want this feature.

Been using firefish since march 2024, and it's a very user friendly piece of software. I've been doing recruitment for 17 years now, and FF is the most user friendly CRM I've used so far.

Pros

Best part about FireFish is the communication! very responsive, easy to deal with, and quick to react on any issues that may arrise

Cons

The 30 day notice to terminate the accounts is a bit of a struggle, however, they do help out as and when they can - like today!

The customer service is great, they are very quick to respond to issues and customising features and reports. Very user friendly workflow.

Cons

Sometimes it's difficult to pull the relevant data needed in standard reports. A new report is needed to be built in report builder which can be time consuming.

### "AVOID AT ALL COSTS"

AVOID. Pretend to be a small business that cares for small businesses, but are the total opposite and are currently hiding behind contracts when i've asked for help. System still not fully operational after a month - not worth the migration costs to move from other suppliers with. Am now left in an even worse position than when I was with the dumpster fire that is Vincere/Access, which I didn't think was even possible. Broken process where each department is seperate, zero account management once signed up. Holding my data hostage + no way to get out of the contract despite being in financial difficulties. They would sooner see the business go under as long as they get a paycheque. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Pros

The promise of the web integration, which we've paid for yet still don't have nearly 2 months down the line.

Cons

Being sold that Firefish is a small business to support small businesses, yet the absolute opposite is true when you start working with them.

From initial engagement to onboarding and follow up the whole process was slick, informative and professional. Their customer service is excellent and always consistent no matter who you deal with. I’ve been nothing but impressed! A superb experience and that hasn’t waned after two years working with them.

Pros

The stand out thing about Firefish for me is how easy it is to engage with our candidates and keep the database fresh and relevant. Candidates can manage their own work & marketing preferences via an online portal so their info is kept up date, compliant and they can sign up to job alerts that are specific to them. The automation is great; saving our consultants precious time away from admin. It gives us the functionality of a great CRM & applicant tracking system with added benefit of being able to market out effectively too. Many of the support team at FireFish are x- recruiters so they really get us and offer lots of useful market insights.

Cons

There’s not a lot not to like to be honest. They integrate with a lot of job boards but unfortunately not with Indeed so that would hep given their market share. It would help if we could see some engagement indicators on the mailshots we send to hiring managers.

I love this software and would recommend it to any SME business that is considering an ATS.

Pros

Ease of use, variety of features, and excellent customer service. The fact that you can make suggestions to help improve the user experience and this is then voted on and implemented shows that they actually listen to customer feedback.

Cons

I feel the marketing of candidates to clients could be easier.

Excellent and the support team are always on hand to help

Pros

I’ve used lots of different CRM’s over the years and FireFish is easily the best. The functionality is really straight forward making it really easy to train new starters and the system interface is very user friendly. The new developments are improving the system all the time and with a few more tweaks, I would say it is the perfect system for my business.

Cons

A LinkedIn integration and a CV Dropbox would be hugely beneficial. There are a couple of little changes that would help such as the ability to view a CV whilst making a VOIP call through the system would also be a great addition

I find firefish one of the easier systems I have used during my career as a recruiter. It is straightforward and has many hidden uses which can be utilised in a variety of different ways depending on your need. I 100% recommend.

Pros

Firefish is a fantastic resource for recruiters who like to be able to easily track, monitor, and update roles, candidates and even client information. This is the real all rounder in terms of recruitment and business support software. Not only can each individual keep their work up to date and track it easily but due to the notes systems it is easy to keep up with colleagues and not duplicate work.

Cons

Firefish is a strong programme but could benefit from more external job site integration (i.e. indeed, total jobs, etc) so that when uploading roles to users own site and CV Library adverts can easily be linked to other sites also allowing all applications to come through to Firefish.

From the initial enquiry/demos through to the migration, going live and onboarding - I cannot fault the team at Firefish. Almost 2 months into using the product daily we are really getting to grips with things and the fact they listen to their customers and update the product on a regular basis is invaluable especially compared to our previous CRM.

Pros

Firefish is fast and easy to use which encourages recruitment consultants to use it fully, unlike other systems where consultants only populate it because they "have to". The whole team at Firefish are passionate about the product and this really shows! You feel like a valued customer and nothing is too much work. Coming from a CRM we had used for over 15 years I was nervous about the integration but the process was so well managed and all aspects of the migration were taken into consideration with "no stone unturned" so there weren't any unexpected surprises when we went live. Features like the candidate portal and straightforward website integration are great too - it gives candidates the ability to manage their own account, browse/apply for jobs and receive tailored job alerts based on their preferences.

Cons

Not many to be honest. There is no in-built document editor (but we have found a simple workaround for this) and some of the reporting took a bit of getting used to. There are a few features we would like to see but other customers have suggested these so it should only be a matter of time before they are implemented. Having said that though, the community is fantastic and the ability to raise and vote on ideas is great. If your business really needs a specific feature this is something that can be developed (at a reasonable cost).

A combination of functionality, cost and performance. Firefish had the best balance of all-round functionality and a team whose service is absolutely second to none. Whilst recruitment CRMs will continue to evolve, we feel Firefish is the best one out there at the moment and we can't wait to see what the future holds!

While the browser offering (Access Recruitment CRM) is being developed, we felt it was just a web front-end for the old RDB database with no innovative features or vast improvements. RDB was very customisable and as an IT Manager I loved getting hands-on with the raw data in SQL but Firefish's integrations are constantly improving and I see a lot of potential with where Firefish is going. System performance and user frustration were the main factors. It shouldn't take 30-45 seconds to run a candidate search in these times and the product was only updated once or twice in an 18 month period (even then only tiny incremental changes were made). If users aren't happy using the CRM then it has a knock-on effect across the business - affecting performance, morale, efficiency and productivity. Using Firefish is a breath of fresh air and we are already starting to see user feedback/satisfaction improve and the quality of data being entered is much better.

### "Does what it says on the Fin"

We love using the Fish. Support is first class, the system is regularly developed for new features, the team always goes the extra mile to make sure we're OK if we hit a snag, although I have to say that's rare. We're a bit lazy really as Firefish can do SO MUCH MORE than we ask of it.

Bullhorn was a great syustem but too big for us. At the time of switching (it may be very different now) it didnt have the interactive features for job posting, candidate interactions, portal and they were SO difficult to get in touch with as support was based in the US so differing time zones often meant we were left waiting for what seemed ages when the syatem went down as we couldnt call them either. All faceless ticketing whereas Firefish we can call and a real live human answers the phone and helps us. That is so important. Recruitment consultants arent patient, we dont want to wait on administration. Ever!

It saves me time which makes it easier to go about my day, I'm very happy with the product.

Pros

I can call, text and email from the same platform, makes it very efficient compared to opening outlook, another VOIP system etc.Applicants are very easily tracked.

Cons

Formatting is a massive issue when doing CV sends or email sends, so much so that we don't use them and usually hit 'skip email'.It would be good to track how many left messages/voicemails you leave so you get a clearer picture from your KPIs how much contact you are making.

Excellent experience and have recently worked closely with the FF team to create detailed roadmaps for every aspect of the system.We are now using the system to support revenue reporting which has supported internal streamlining of processes.Wendy and the team at FF are brilliant and always on hand to support when required.

Pros

There are a number of excellent features in firefish. - The search functions and talent pools are great - Application tracking- The dashboard is great for easy access to almost everything - System is easy to use and also easy to make changes if required

Cons

If talent pools could be shared this would be a great feature. Especially when working in teams where candidates often cross over. The report function can be a little confusing but the team at FF are always on hand to help.

Pros

It is user friendly, intuitive and logical. It is constantly evolving and improving.

Cons

A few minor tweaks such as the email box much larger so you can see all of an email template you are editing.

I heard \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] talking about Firefish at an exhibition and knew I wanted to work with her/her company. The software was 100 x better than the rivals at the time at an affordable cost.

Firefish have provided us with a platform to work more intelligently and to improve our methods of working. Its always a case of getting out what we put in, but overall we've found Firefish to be supportive throughout our time working with them.

Pros

We've found the software to work in exactly the manner we would want it to be, supporting our day-to-day activities and many functionalities to improve the way in which we work. I've enjoyed the recent instructional webinars, as this has provided a refresh on how to use the system and has led to improvements in the way we interact with the software. Firefish are constantly improving and upgrading functionality too.

Cons

No real cons - some aspects that we'd like to see in the future, but I think that these are developments that may be on the horizon. Fits perfectly with our business needs.

My overall experience with FireFish is good, although I'm not technical so can have the odd challenge. Support is good and helps when required.

Pros

The software is reasonably priced and does the job. It's easy to use and if you have an issue they have a great support team to help. If you have a suggestion for a new feature, it will be reviewed and if possible implemented, so you feel like part of the team.

Cons

As I work on my own, I need to find time to input categories for jobs and remember to only add the areas of work the candidate does. My system is currently needing an update as I haven't got enough categories under each industry.

Very positive, so much so i don't think about it like other CRM systems which can take up so much time that you do end up thinking about them.

Pros

Managing both candidates is a trick business can lead to a lot of lost data/conversations etc. so having all this data in one place and for example say you have business x and a candidate is going to be working in school x being able to marry the two together makes keeping track of the work/task's conversations so much easier. The Friendly easy to use company/candidate set up is quick very easy and just a breeze to use

Cons

I feel there could be more sorting options. I.E if you have a candidate that is a teaching assistant, but they excel at a particular skill being able to display this so this can then be filtered so show what candidates are available and in what area would make things so much easier.

Overall, it works but with a few areas where improvement is needed. Our business is very candidate focussed, and FF is built more for a client-driven market, so some things we =really don't use and some things we need but others may not

It's relatively quick and easy to use. Able to access from anywhere.

Cons

Lack of integrations with LinkedIn and WhatsApp. email function is clunky. Have to create duplicate contacts for multi-office clients

Onboarding was good, training wasn't great everyone seems to be in a rush to get off the phone except \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] who is an absolute superstar.

Pros

Lots of functions, and features that can be utalised.

Cons

A few hidden costs, if after 3 months your workload increases and Firefish isn't for you, you find yourself roped into a 12-month contract. Way too over the top for what it is supposed which makes it over complicated.

Overall, I've thoroughly enjoyed using Firefish and will continue to use it in the same way.

Pros

I use the Advert posting, applicant processing, and CV database. I absolutely love all these features as they're incredibly easy to use and very convenient. My favourite feature is the option for mandatory pre-screening questions as this saves me a lot of time when going through the job applications.

Cons

Honestly, not many cons come to mind as there are parts of Firefish I don't use but perhaps the organisation of the Candidate profiles. The CV is buried on the last tab in documents but is the most important thing on someone's profile.

I've only ever used Firefish in my four years in recruitment and it's always been easy to wrap my head around and now I feel years on I use it to it's full capacity. The training offered by the team is great and shows off new features as and when they are released which keeps everyone up to date!

Pros

Firefish is super easy to use and the team are always on standby with quick resolution should any issues occur.

Cons

There are a few bugs that if they were fixed would make life particularly easier - being able to view a CV whilst making a call through the system. I hate having lots of tabs open!

Love this tool! Its always been my favourite tool to work with since I established the business in 2017. Without it I would have been lost.

Pros

Its very user friendly - it matches to candidates very well. Easy to move through - I have had new starters who have managed to get their head around it in a couple of days. Simple but effective!

Cons

I feel the only real area that could be improved on is the sales pipeline tool and sending jobs to a centralised report for sharing.

Awful Support Terrible turn around on queries. Focus on big agencies and I wasn't regarded as an important client.
