### "Horrific Tracking on this web based system"

Not good.

Pros

Credit card charging is easy.

Cons

Tracking transaction amount and customer name, unable to do a typical database search to tie the two together,IMPOSSIBLE. This is not a good system, not happy due to lack of tracking services. ALSO, you can only go back three months at a time. ALSO, unable to download the complete year transaction with details.

Horrible!!! Cancelled my contract without me asking then charge my bank $500 for early cancellation

Pros

Nothing at this point. Nice fancy machine but over priced nonsense

Cons

The money they just randomly take basically thieves more crooked then the government

Overall I was great. I would recommend it to someone maybe when I open a store front I’ll use the system as well.

Pros

While working at a local yogurt place. We used clover and it was great and easy. Convenient to customers and us workers the place is closed down now but it was great while it was up.

Cons

I have nothing to complain about.

I'm overall very happy! When I have had questions, customer service has been super helpful with giving me step by step instructions that are easy to understand.

Pros

It is very user friendly. I love that I can take the hand held device into the exam room to check clients out.

Cons

It is not the easiest if you have to refund a client. You need to have the credit card on hand from them.

Pros

Great little POS System. We use the Clover Flex and I would give it 10 stars for ease of use. I also love the reporting feature, so that at the end of our weeks we have a very clear report of all transactions made. I also love that it has the option to email or text the receipt to the customer, saving on wasted receipt paper.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that is it sometimes cumbersome to load the receipt paper. Other than that this is a great product for a small business.

Pros

We were using a POS system that still hadn't upgraded its card reader to accept cards with chips. We decided to use Clover as just a way to charge the credit card transactions on our POS app. The app lets you charge credit cards with chips, and also logs transactions per device. This has allowed us to manage different iPad transactions separately.

Cons

The software sometimes bugged out. It would tell us it hadn't charged, but when we ran the charge the second time, it would charge people twice. Talking to support also wasn't very helpful. A lot of the times the app would time out, and support didn't know how to solve the problem.

When everything is working great its awesome and easy to use, if you have issues can be a little bit of a headache. Overall happy with the products and service!

Pros

I really enjoy the machines we use, its a combination of a card swipe but also able to print out the receipts!

Cons

I have had a few issues with the machines and their battery. Sometimes the units can get frozen and takes a while to get them up and running again. I was not too impressed with the customer service line you have to call if you have issues.

Can not recommend. If I save just one small business owner to get screwed I would be happy. This system is worthless. There are tons of systems you can use with any bank or with any application you want. Clover is just scam and gonne take your money for nothing

Pros

Looks nice but there are a lot of cheaper POS systems out there way better than Clover. System is limited

Cons

NEVER LEASE. Can not be used with different bank if you purchase from one bank If you change your bank (due to fees) whole your payment is gone to trash system fails very often. limited applications

When trying to cancel I experienced the worst customer service of my life. Had no issues come up through the 7 months I actually used the machine, but upon cancelation, realized how appalling their customer service was.

Pros

Hand held machine was very easy to use, large screen, had a calculator built right in, could go back and reprint bills very easily

Pros

We use this for a food truck business. Clover is extremely full-featured and does so much more than we could ever use it for. It's built-in tracking systems for restaurant and foodservice operations are fantastic.

Cons

For our purposes there really is nothing missing. We, as a food truck, could never use Clover to it's full potential.

Overall, I feel like experience was like its a business that's trying to rip me off all the time.

Pros

Its fairly easy to set up and manage. That is it.

Cons

High commissions. All kinds of payments that sales person did not inform about. Call center is quick only if its about problems with work. I closed down my business and have been trying to close down my account and ooh boy it takes rings of hell to get it done. Three phone calls, waiting for hours, because "escalations officers are currently busy".

It's fine. I wouldn't say it's any better than Square, but it's perfectly functional.

Pros

I use this to process payments at the door of a music venue, and it's perfectly functional. Nice to be able to pair the card reader to the device using bluetooth instead of having to use a headphone or power jack.

Cons

It's weird that sometimes, when I look back on the 'Transactions' screen, transactions that take place after 9pm PST that day don't show up. So I can't get a full review of my day's transactions? It doesn't store people's info for receipts like Square does, so if they want a receipt, they have to type in their phone number or email every time.

Using the Clover terminal has been very benifical for our business, allowing us to easilly help customers as well as tracking who is doing what, at the same time building a database of clients for future use.

Pros

One of my favorite things about using Clover is the easy learning curve and intuitive gui. Being so easy to navigate makes helping customers very easy and transparent for the customer.

Cons

While this feature may be available on another model of their console, it would be nice if there was a fingerprint reader to unlock the terminal as we have multiple users who operate with two units. A fingerprint scanner would make it very quick and easy to change between users.

Personally no good experience every time you reach tech support they can't resolve the issue and will not transfer call to supervisor for help

Very positive experience and glad we made the switch over to Clover. I highly recommend this POS.

Pros

Easy to train my employees on Adding items was a breeze Setup was done in less than 45 min Chip reader and pos all in one package with the clover mini Easy for guests to read and you can send receipt via email....etc..

Cons

It is a bit more expensive than other POS machines but well worth it. The best POS machine I have purchased and worked with.

Our Clover system is the perfect point of sale solution. The few times we have had problems customer service handled the problem quickly.

Pros

It is practically intuitive for our sales staff to use it; their is little to no training needed.

Getting this system set up and on board was a nightmare. Many of the features we were promised were add ons and were going to cost more. We canceled before we even started and they are still billing us over $1200. We have called many times to get fees removed as we canceled within the grace period and are still on a run around with them. The

Pros

The system appeared easy to use. The software was available to "high risk" businesses.

Cons

Tons of hidden fees. Many of the features you think are included are add ons. Set up took forever. Costumer service was sloppy and inadequate.

Overall, the product is simple enough to use that I am not worried about any of our contracted therapists messing up the process and avoiding taking payments.

Pros

What I like most about Clover is that it can be downloaded on any smart device as app and has an easy to use card chip reader. Our agency wanted a chip reader for extra customer security and Clover offered that option.

Cons

I like least about the software is that is does not capture customer information as simple as their first and last name, but simply has a text box for a description. Our agency uses the device for customer copays for therapy appointments and in the text box I am forced to put the customers last name in order to reconcile payments later.

Reason for choosing Clover

The start up costs and credit card processing fees were lower.

### "Help Desk is a joke"

System crashes, help desk is somewhere overseas so English is sometimes difficult for them to understand, in times of retail crisis, they leave you on hold for LONG periods of time. Emails to their help desk get standard form responses, leaving you with just as many issues as you previously had. Stay away!!!!

Pros

It's sleek-looking. Customers are often confused as to where to put their credit card. It's fast when it works.

Cons

It crashes frequently, especially when the store is busy.
