Educator Education Management Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "A Function Rich Tool for Converting PDFs" April 12, 2021 4.0 I don't know that Soda is my forever solution for pdf conversion but it is a good enough solution for now. Pros I needed a PDF converter with a variety of tools and after trying several free versions that were pretty difficult to use, I found Soda. Converting PDFs is tricky and I've tried a variety of converters. The Soda program is very easy to use and organizes files well. Cons Sadly, converting PDFs to other formats is tricky and none of the converters are perfect. Soda does a better than average job of converting PDFs to csv format, but there will be imperfections in the convert that will need review. Dishonest advertising" February 22, 2019 1.0 Terrible experience. Pros Nothing - I could not use it after buying it. And even in trying to do it, I found it very poorly designed software. Cons You can't use this on a MAC computer, but theres no mention of this during the purchase and download. And, there is an image on their website that shows a MAC package download! But you download an .exe file. When I called, I was told they don't have a MAC version, and to use it online instead. I couldn't do anything except 'free' options online, but I had already paid for premium. I called again, and at first, they refused to refund me. Only when I pointed out that they are advertising a MAC product that they don't have did they agree to a refund. I'd be a happy customer if they billed me honestly. Cons As you can see from these screen shots, the company offered the product for $39.95, tried to add on silly upsells that I de-selected, and then added them back anyway and charged me double! Merging pdf single pages into a single document. This software is now one of my most used on a daily basis, I find it opens pages quicker than any other pdf reader and having the ability to edit make sit as near to perfect as can be for me. It doesn't matter where you are or what computer you are on. No matter what, you are able to securely add, edit, and create the PDFs that you need. Great for business users on the go. Cons The licensing options are not geared toward personal use. It seems marketed and priced for the business users. Support is pretty good, but not the best. You can't seem to get a hold of them except thru some restricted business hours. I open the app on my desk top, it takes about 10 minutes to load, if it works at all, most of the time I have to end the task. I would not recommend it. Pros Price was very affordable, as an alternative to Adobe. Cons It takes at least 10 minutes to load. If I had known I would not have bought it. It was a really great solution for me and my work environment. Pros Its just works. No need to spend lots of time reading manuals or dealing with settings!
