### "Salesforce Starter is a HUGE asset if properly understood!"

January 13, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Salesforce Starter has been very positive, offering a reliable, scalable CRM with strong tools that support organization, visibility, and long-term growth.

Pros

Salesforce Starter offers a polished, intuitive CRM with helpful automation and reporting, making it easy to manage leads, track sales activity, and scale with confidence. It is a "Would-Recommend" product.

Cons

There is the inevitable initial learning curve to the whole ordeal. It does not mean it is a bad thing, but something to be aware of before you get into it. There are steps and tutorials, but make sure you follow them or ask someone for help to be sure you know what you are doing.

### "Good CRM for Managing Sales and Customers"

August 14, 2026

5.0

Overall, I have had a good experience with Salesforce Starter. It helps keep customer information, sales activities and communication organized in one place. It is a good option for small teams that want to start using a CRM without having to manage a very complex setup.

Pros

I like Salesforce Starter because it gives a good set of features for managing customers and sales in one place. It is useful for keeping track of leads, customer information and communication. The interface is also clean and easy to understand once you get familiar with it.

Cons

There is a learning curve when you first start using it. Some features and settings can be difficult to understand without spending some time exploring the platform. The pricing can also become expensive if you need more features as the business grows.

### "Simple, Effective CRM for Growing Teams"

February 19, 2026

3.0

My overall experience with Salesforce Starter was positive—easy to use, quick to set up, and great for small teams, though somewhat limited as needs grow.

Pros

What I liked most about Salesforce Starter was how easy it made CRM setup—intuitive interface, guided onboarding, and essential sales tools in one place.

Cons

What I liked least about Salesforce Starter was the limited customization and automation compared to higher-tier Salesforce plans.

### "A near perfect product for what it is. "

April 1, 2026

5.0

Overall starter is great. It gives you the exposure to find out what you need as you continue to grow.

Pros

Starter is named perfectly. It gives good value for money, is easy to use, and manages a small company well.

Cons

It has limited features but that is to be expected. If you though you could do everything of an enterprise suite, you're mistaken. Starter is perfect for getting started! Find out what you need and then upgrade accordingly.

### "The crm that introduces real sales and communication organization to an emerging education company."

April 27, 2026

5.0

Salesforce Starter steered my company towards a more professional approach to handling potential and current students. The communication tracking and sales management features added some sense of responsibility to an area of the business that I was merely operating on gut instinct.

Pros

The ability to have all student inquiries, follow-ups and enrollment conversation tracked all in a single location made my sales process feel more like a real process and not a collection of notes and memory.

Cons

Not as easy as Starter label suggests. In the case of a small school and a language teacher, the initial arrangement took more time and long forbearance than I had allocated to it.

Cons

In order to customize the salesforce platform to fit our needs, we need a dedicated specialist to manage the platform. would be more efficient if anyone can easily manage it

### "Great tool to get started with quickly"

February 7, 2026

5.0

Overall a solid, easy-to-use CRM for small teams—great to get started quickly, but you may outgrow it as needs become more complex.

Pros

Great kit to start with. Best CRM on the market i have enjoyed using it throughout my career at multiple companies

Cons

Limited customization and reporting made it hard to tailor workflows as our needs grew, and scaling beyond basics felt restrictive.

### "Affordable and User Friendly CRM Solution for Small Businesses "

November 26, 2024

4.0

Salesforce Starter makes several tasks easier to manage and complete as it combines several different aspects and key tools into one simple, easy to use platform.

Pros

I love that it is priced to allow small businesses to easily access and use the software and that it's super user-friendly even for users who have zero CRM experience prior to using Salesforce Starter.

Cons

While the basic features are very affordable for most users certain add-ons can be costly and some of the more advanced features can be difficult for newer users to figure out.

### "Salesforce "

April 18, 2023

5.0

We love it and every team the team wants more functionalities out of it

Pros

If you are a not-for-profit you can get an excellent discounted rate. It is very handy even though it needs some expertise to set it up but don't let this stop you, their resources library is supper useful, and you can figure out how to do many things yourself. Once you get all the team using it is a very very powerful tool and provides you with amazing data to inform your business.

Cons

Can be hard to set up. But invest in someone that knows how to do it, get it right from the beginning and ti will be very helpful.

### "Salesforce the game changer"

November 19, 2021

5.0

Salesforce Essentials organizes my call list and my call rhythm. I can quickly search and find everything I need related to my contacts and easily link to other services I use.

Pros

Salesforce is a remarkable tool program. It is extremely easy to use to give you the best results. Salesforce is a remarkable program because it is constantly changing and adapting to the times. It is extremely versatile as you can explain your file with ease. It is also an application that offers several of the best options, which is why I assume it is among the best programs. This program is fast and easy to use. Moreover, with this tool, I can complete all my tasks without any delay so that I am not disturbed while doing my work and my work is done quickly and smoothly. It increases the productivity of the employees and hence it is a tool that I would recommend. I suggest buying the application and start getting the results you want today.

Cons

Pricing. Just too expensive for doing lots of API calls for refreshing databases moreover when users double (CSM, account managers, AEs). For a limited business, over there is too much to sort through for everything we need. It would be noteworthy to have a \\' lite\\' version or something where the interface was simplified.

### "Undoubtedly the best CRM"

November 15, 2022

5.0

My experience with SalesForce has been the best throughout several years. Best to deploy and to have better results

Pros

However it can be complex for beginners, it is definitely the best CRM in terms of analytics, reports, organization of data, migrations, etc

Cons

As mentioned before, the interphase for a beginner isn't the most friendly. However, it doesn't mean it is hard to use. It is just more robust

### "Great product, lots of features. Takes some time to learn, but its worth it!"

July 23, 2021

5.0

Pros

I like that this software is comprehensive. It gives you everything you could need to source, manage, track, follow up with, communicate with, and hopefully close a sale.

Cons

It definitely takes some time to learn all the features and I didn't need some of them so it would be nice to be able to personalize a bit more but its worth the time to learn it all in the end.

### "I use desk.com as the frontline customer service software to create and manage tickets."

November 12, 2017

5.0

Pros

Desk is extremely customizable. We have a bunch of different inbound emails that automatically tag and assign tickets which saves us a lot of time. You can set up almost any combination of rules for inbound tickets to make sure your most important customers get prioritized and the right people get assigned to help. Desk also has an API that you can use to build a help center experience on top of their platform. We use it internally for bug reporting and feature requesting and our portal creates tickets right in desk.

Cons

Desk isn't very user friendly. Once it's set up it's works really well but it takes a lot of time to learn all the nuances of the configuration. The analytics have issues. Some of the metrics like last log in will show that I last logged in a month ago when I've logged in every day and am in fact logged in at the time. We don't use the metrics but if your customer service department relies on them that could be problematic.

### "Good app for workflows"

April 28, 2023

4.0

We integrate several process within the company into Salesforce, and it makes really easy to track info and complete process requirements for customers.

Pros

It's simplified screens and the way it delegates step-by-step specific procedures to the users involved in the worfkflow

Cons

Export data might require some experience using this app. If not used to work with SF you might find a little bit frustrated of so many options for reporting/exporting data

### "Salesforce classic better than the new Lightning"

November 17, 2023

Classic is great and very easy to get to info.

Pros

I really like the salesforce classic before they moved to lightning. It was much more intuitive and easier to locate information.

Cons

That they moved to lightning and it is not as good as classic

### "Truly Market Leading crm"

July 24, 2021

5.0

Pros

I have been using Salesforce for many years. I think the most amazing part of this tool is how customizable it Is as per clients needs. Moreover all these cusomized fields are available in reporting!

Cons

User based security is not available in essential. I wish it was so that we could enroll more users.

### "Currently left in the Dust"

August 8, 2017

2.0

our support center agents were able to respond to emails and log call notes.

Pros

multiple channels can be integrated, including social media posts. there's a live character counter for agents when writing responses.

Cons

SMS had to be integrated with an outside provider. slow, lacking features or any promise of a roadmap, reporting inaccurate. downtime and maintenance (both scheduled and responsive) very frequent - basically daily. since "next gen agent" was released 2+ years ago, this product has never improved. account manager never even bothered to elude to changing anything. as our contract was coming to an end, we asked, "why should we stay with desk?" and the response we got was verbatim, "great question...\[30 seconds of silence\]". salesforce stopped investing money into this product long ago, and subsequently, even the smallest crm companies these days are lightyears ahead in terms of functionality and reliability.

### "Great Experience - just put took off one star for the work that needs to be done"

December 19, 2017

5.0

I was able to save time in the company I work for. The software was easy to use and easy to implement into daily activities.

Pros

I loved the fact that they worked on the integrations and being able to make things to the mainstream. I was able to quickly show other workers how to use this product and quickly incorporate it into our business. This is a lot easier than our last software.

Cons

Running the reports is something we would all have a bit of trouble to do, there would be little things here and there that prevented our productivity. There are also some filters or basic features that should be fine-tuned a bit more but nothing too bad.

### "Best Database for Sales Funnel Management"

June 7, 2021

5.0

We use Salesforce in order to keep track of all leads, opportunites, converted clients at all steps of the sales funnel and store all contact information. If you want to reconnect with a lead that dried up 6 months ago, you have all the information and can do that as well as see where things were last left off with them. It is the ultimate sales database.

Pros

Salesforce is great for keeping track of leads, opportunities, tasks, contacts, and more. It is the best way to keep track of info, documents, phone calls, etc for these people/businesses at any stage of the sales funnel. Due to its detailed nature, it makes it easy to categorize these things and also create weekly reports for updates. I am looking forward to taking some of the free Salesforce courses just so I can take advantage of some of the functions that I still don't even know how to use for their full benefits.

Cons

Salesforce can be overwhelming when first starting to use it. There is a lot of information everywhere and the pages feel very "busy" when you aren't sure where to find something. The more you use Salesforce, the easier this gets, but for new users there can be a learning period.

### "Integrations Galore"

March 24, 2018

3.0

Good starter tool, but lacking a user experience that makes you "want" to use it.

Pros

Open API that allows you to connect to other tools that you're using to run your business. We have our tool connected to SalesForce, Talkdesk, Google Docs, etc.

Cons

The platform has gone down a few times, leaving us to figure out how to communicate with our customers. The UI/UX isn't the best.
