For a salesperson, there's a holy grail of seamless interaction between email, contacts, and your pipeline. Tons of people have worked on this problem, but they all have shortcomings. RelateIQ has solved this by implementing best in class back end tech with a clean and intuitive UI.

Pros

\-Automatic email integration -Automatic "follow up" management -Reporting -Contact organization and curation -Integration w outside tools via API

Cons

\-Young company, so some features are still on the horizon, but you know they are coming given what they've been able to accomplish to date.

### "Desk was challenging to use on a number of fronts "

It was a good CRM a few years ago, but never received the attention it needed from the Desk product team.

Pros

It was intuitive to use when working on tickets and responding to customers. The reporting interface was easy when to create and run reports.

Cons

The reporting was barely functional and often times would time out when loading. There were countless days that I needed to run a report and was unable to.

Cons

J’apprécie énormément ce logiciel mais, le prix n’est pas abordable pour tout le monde. Sa configuration est aussi un peu compliqué.

### "Ridiculously Expensive"

I stopped using because I could never understand how to fully set up the system. Salesforce referred a 3rd party developer to set up system, they wanted $28,000 to set up system. Kinda shady.

Pros

Nice interface, lots of features. I never understood the system enough to offer more Pros.

Cons

Only for Mid-Large - Large Business. Salesforce is not for small business, because it is cost prohibitive. Salesforce nickel and dimes for everything, including an unethical override for their CPQ billing. I am stuck in a contract and still paying for Essentials. However, it was much more economical to use another CRM/Subscription Management System and pay Salesforce until my contact is over.

Pros

Super user friendly platform and easy to navigate. It keeps everything organized and makes it easy to track historical information. I like that any member of your team can pick up where you left off, it prevents from having to transfer all of your work and alleviates anything from falling through the cracks.

Cons

I wish you could customize the dashboard and add or delete fields that you may need or not need. I would also like to be able to sort the fields so it would make searching easier.

Pros

Having a virtual office and always out and about, the tool allows me to access and add records on the go.

Cons

the lower version allows limited customization but it is easy to adapt.

Instead of separate email inboxes for our three customer service agents, all incoming mail goes here and can be worked on by all. Perfect for when an employee is out and someone is covering for them.

Pros

Even with all of the restrictions of the Starter Plan I was still able to configure everything to work great for our needs.

Cons

Jedoch habe ich festgestellt, dass die anfängliche Lernkurve steil sein kann. Die Vielzahl an Funktionen und Optionen erforderte Zeit, um sie vollständig zu verstehen und effektiv zu nutzen. Dies könnte für kleinere Teams oder weniger technikaffine Benutzer eine Herausforderung darstellen.

Not helpful at all. Technology from some other decade/century?

Pros

Nothing; it's so irritating. And I'm an IT person, programmer and DBA? Can't imagine what it's like for a non-tech user?

Cons

Can't add multiple records at a time; groups difficult to work with; emailing a challenge

Has fundamentally changed the workflow not only for me individually but the whole team. We are more on top of deals, more efficient with our time, and seeing a major ROI on our investment. Honestly think I would choose my next job on whether or not they use RelateIQ as I could NEVER go back to Salesforce.

Integrations, UI/UX, Delivers right insight at the right time, automating the follow up process, Gmail plugin

Reporting tools aren't great yet

Having used several CRM tools in the past, I have yet to find one that has a mobile app worth using. The apps are either too limited in functionality, the UI is too complicated, or the app is too slow. That is until I downloaded RelateIQs app. They have accurately assumed how I would be using the app (prior to and just after meetings) and give me the most relevant information quickly and with the fewest clicks. If I want to dig deeper, I can. Nicely done!

We migrated from Zendesk based on positive feedback we saw. It was OK. The ease-of-use is there, but the support is horrific and the speed/repsonsiveness of the site is extremely bad. We have other solutions that are web-based that operate without issues, so we determined it wasn't a networking issue. The cost is definitely out of range for the functionality you get. We needed to contract out to get some custom integration done with other systems and to get a full feature set. Support was not helpful at all in this aspect after we signed the contract. Before signing the contract things were great, but they pretty much abandon you afterwards. There were few places that were not extremely over-priced to get things done. Finding companies that we were willing to work with that knew Desk.com was difficult. We finally were able to get a unified solution created at a reasonable price by leveraging our in-house development staff who we originally did not want to bother with it. All-in-all it works OK, but it's definitely not the best solution and we may end up switching after nearly a year of use due to lack of any ROI. Too many issues and bad support.

Bait and switch. Passing the buck. You get handed off to multiple "Teams". Almost every time...there is an additional charge for that "Teams" services. And then there is a recommendation of the implementation team for integration to make everything work that doubles the monthly cost of the platform. You have to pay part of the monthly cost up upfront to even get to the integration team. We are out $12,000 and never got to use the platform because it would not integrate with our Custodian, Fidelity. (We told them upfront -multiple times- who our custodian was and were not informed of this.) BEWARE!

Pros

Never got to use it because we could not integrate what we needed to with Fidelity to use it. We are out $12,000 for nothing!

Cons

This product is not designed for the Financial Services industry. It also not for a small business (Small Business being over 300 million AUM). SalesForce will not be upfront about the ad Ons or the additional expense of them ...so just DON'T!

Never again. It is not a user-friendly tool for a small business.

Pros

I've never liked using Salesforce. It's clunky, sterile, and a beast to master. I thought I could tackle the beast as we were experiencing incredible growth in our marketing agency. Bad idea! It really is not built with small businesses in mind.

Cons

Where to begin? User experience. Team collaboration. Actually making sure the platform was working for us.

SalesforceIQ assists in reporting insight into the data that you already enter in to Salesforce. The reporting features are great and it's easy to use.

Cons

Sometimes the integration into Salesforce can be a bit glitchy in the sense that it takes a while to load and the data needs to be refreshed manually.

It kept me on track when the company I worked for integrated it in the sales process. Helped me to stay focused and organized with call backs and meetings I had set up previously.

Pros

Made it easier to follow up on leads, track customer interaction and set meetings with clients. Provided a great overview of each customer/client.

Cons

As with all software that requires documentation, it's the actual entering recaps of conversations with customers and meetings that is always the 'chore'. Most salespeople find this to be the challenge.

I'm still learning how to use Salesforce, but it does have a wealth of features and is clearly an industry leader. It is a complex beast, however, so utilising the training modules is essential.

Pros

The Trailhead Playground and the extensive training modules allow you to become an expert in Salesforce, although you do need to dedicate lots of time to it.

Cons

It's almost too complicated at times. It can be difficult to resolve problems without having to search for help topics.

Pros

Tight integration with Salesforce. This allows you to bypass API cost restrictions imposed by Salesforce. Fairly easy setup

Cons

Only one person can work on at a ticket at a time. This results in someone looking at a ticket, walking away from their desk, and no one else can work on that ticket. This is an absurd limitation for ticketing system designed for enterprises. You are limited to 25 triggers. During our initial implementation and migration from Zendesk, we used 23 of them. During our one year, we also had 3-4 incidents of fairly-extended downtime that WE noticed (we were not notified by Desk.com).

If you are well trained on how to use it and know all the features inside out than it's great.

Pros

That it is saving a lot of your work automatically and that you can easily go back to previously opened case and modify them or look into it

Cons

There are too many features, which at times are repetitive and sometimes not easy to find/ not distinct enough to know what to click on
