### "Illustrator Review"

November 23, 2025

5.0

I used to use it a bit less at first. then once I kept using and learning, I use it every day now. I use it for brochures, posters, logo designs. And I feel like there's plenty i haven't explored, it's that complex

Pros

I love the Recolor artwork where I can manually change the poster color or I can use eye dropper tool and change the entire pallet . I love Ai Vector generation and that integrated in recolor artwork. Various Effects, and gradients. align options works wonders as well. Mainly customized workspaces with reset workspace option. and I use the 3d options on icons.

Cons

You need a high end laptop to use this software. It hangs with too much effects. grid detection(pink lines) appear only while using the mouse to align. If it comes while using the arrow keys, it will be even more quicke to align.

### "Adobe- the greatest illustrator ever"

November 6, 2025

5.0

I have had an excellent experience with Adobe Illustrator. It is powerful, precise and intuitive, helping me to create everything from logos to detailed illustrations. The seamless integration with other Adobe apps makes my design process smooth and efficient.

Pros

Users have access to all latest updates and releases the moment they are available. Besides, Creative Cloud desktop apps can be installed and run on two computers.

Cons

Users experience a steep learning curve. Also, Raster graphics support is limited. There is also accuracy and precision issue. Besides. Higher costs and increased time consumption ,are two major limiting factors.

### "Adobe is the way to go"

March 5, 2026

4.0

Adobe has helped me in many ways for my multiple businesses and in my career. Its a great document and design tool.

Pros

Adobe Illustrator is a great software that can allow you to complete just about anything with a document that you need, image editing, animation and the customer support is great.

Cons

Sometimes when I open the program it does have a lot of features and is a large platform software that it can be a little slow when starting up but once I am in a session it works great for me.

### "A fantastic software that I enjoy using daily"

August 1, 2025

5.0

I love Illustrator, I wish some aspects of it would be similar to Photoshop, mainly layout and script capabilities, but it is a completely different software and shouldn't be compared.

Pros

Illustrator is a big software that seems daunting at first, but after a short while of using it, it becomes second nature. It has so many features that I still haven't discovered them all yet. And Illustrator is still updating with the newest capabilities.

Cons

Took me a good while to get into Illustrator, as it is completely different to Photoshop, but in a lot of ways Illustrator is easier to use than Photoshop. One example is that you can easily move objects around the artboards, off the artboards, etc.

### "Adobe Illustrator Review from a Towing Company"

August 4, 2025

5.0

Our overall experience has been nothing but incredible with Illustrator as well as any other Adobe products! The customer service has been phenomenal and anything that we may need help with, design wise, can easily be found in a tutorial of some sorts online!

Pros

It is perfect for the graphic design sector of our company! In an industry that doesn't call for creative graphics and design elements, we have loved using illustrator as a tool to set the bar high for the industry in our area, especially for the price and value that it brings.

Cons

It is most definitely a tough software to use, and many times, it can take longer than expected to make a graphic of whatever sorts due to the complexity of the software.

### "Powerful Product"

June 6, 2025

4.0

Great product, very powerful for editing design work, typography, and so on. It is a steep price in my opinion but the most powerful design software I've ever used.

Pros

I like that it is the standard in the industry for use of digital art and desing work. I use it primarily for logo and content design and features like the Image Trace tool stand out as something I use almost every day.

Cons

There is a huge learning curve. Even as someone who has used it for 5 plus years, there are still things I have not figured out and am still learning how to do.

### "Unique Branding"

January 6, 2026

5.0

Really great, been using illustrator for over 10 years and it’s still one of the best pieces of software for creating brands.

Pros

The ability to create any custom logo / brand that is needed. Having the ability to illustrate custom graphics for any sort of client.

Cons

Not too much I don’t like, that it doesn’t always integrate well with Figma is annoying and also sometimes it glitches when outputting assets for web use.

### "Illustrator- Perfect Graphics Designing Tool"

November 27, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Adobe Illustrator remains very very good and I earned lot of money through it.

Pros

Adobe Illustrator is very easy to learn and use. I’m using it since 2020 for making Logos, Social Media posts, to do the marketing for different brands.

Cons

Adobe Illustrator new version is hanging my laptop and acquiring lot of space from the memory, that is making my laptop very slow.

### "Powerful tool for people who know how to use it"

March 25, 2025

5.0

I don’t like to use it but I know how powerful tool it is when you know how to use it properly. Not my primary tool.

Pros

It has a lot of options for vector editing, gradient options are phenomenal, image tracing is crucial and also outlining strokes.

Cons

For me it’s not my primary software and I find it not intuitive and over complicated. I do think it’s because it has a lot of advanced options but I am used to using software intuitively especially that I know InDesign very well but sometimes even similar options work very differently and sometimes are named differently. It annoys me that it is not more integrated or even friendly with InDesign. I don’t like the lack of layout options and how much slower it is to work on. It might be that I am not an illustrator though.

Switched from

I switched to all Adobe products from Corel. I was happy using Corel but when purchased Adobe Creative suit it made sense to ditch it and start using Illustrator instead.

### "Daily use of Illustrator "

March 20, 2025

4.0

I've been working with Illustrator from past 3 years now. I use it for mainly printing purpose. I use it daily because it has feature of picture editing as well as layers with sub layers, which makes it easier to track the work.

Pros

Because it is all in one kinda app. You can edit pictures, writing documents, make 3D objects. I like the features like smoothening and pen tool. I use them a lot on daily basis. Also the perspective grid makes it easier to understand the view. And all the small changes in tools which can improve its quality.

Cons

Few bugs are there while saving the file. That is annoying.

Switched from

[Adobe Photoshop](https://www.capterra.com/p/229092/Adobe-Photoshop/)

Because photoshop is easier for image editing for sure but for vector graphic part illustrator gives you more freedom.

### "A world of possibilities"

September 29, 2025

4.0

I've been using it for over 10 years, and it has accompanied me in all kinds of projects: posters, typography, lettering, design for prints, T-shirts, drawings... it really is a very versatile programme.

Pros

I think it's a very complete programme for working with vectors. It's very comprehensive and easy to use, and it has lots of possibilities.

Cons

It could have more options for simple photo editing so that you can also work with pixels and edit images.

### "Adobe illustrator review"

Pros

Illustrator uses vector graphics and has quality graphical tools like the pen tool that creates great curves and help in branding and print work.

Cons

Adobe Illustrator is available through monthly subscription which can be pricey for students compared to a onetime purchase and also it\`s tools might be quite intimidating for beginners

### "Must have program for label creation"

August 28, 2025

5.0

Overall, I am very pleased with my experience. It helps me accomplish my daily tasks, and I plan on using it for the foreseeable future.

Pros

This program is amazing. I use it every day for my job, and it is capable of doing everything I need to succeed. One of the most useful features is its ability to import both DXFs and DWGs. This is especially useful for going back and forth with CAD software. I also like that I can pull in any image and create lines based on it.

Cons

It is not super intuitive, and there is a small learning curve. I wish the sketching more closely resembled other 2-D CAD software, but it is usable. It is especially hard to create unique shapes with fillets and line breaks, but it is doable.

Illustrator is essential for logo creation and vector-based branding projects. It delivers precise and scalable results.

### "Still the standard for 2d design"

February 21, 2025

4.0

I have been using Adobe Illustrator for over 20 years as it's the gold standard it does it's job and gives you great control though the control isn't as good as it used to be. Still other than Figma, there's no really viable alternative.

Pros

It's intuitive, easy to use. The standard

Cons

It's getting worse as they fit more AI in and take out other stuff, it's like you have less control over things now. Even thought they are trying to find that balance 2022 or so was really good and then it's slowly getting worse.

### "The best vector design programme for creatives"

February 20, 2025

5.0

Adobe Illustrator keeps getting better. The UI is really easy to use and the properties panel helps speed up your workflow. I love the flexibility of being able to use artboards and all the tools they keep adding for editing shapes and strokes, like intertwine and repeat.

Pros

Adobe Illustrator is a great piece of software for any designer or creative. They keep improving the features and making it easier to create stunning graphics for your projects.

Cons

I don't think there is enough type and paragrapgh style options available in illustrator. Hvaing more options available would be really helpful. I think some other features from indesign would be really useful in Illustrator. The ability to add columns and grids would be really helpful too.

### "Adobe Illustrator: In-Time Design and a Depth of Customization"

January 20, 2025

5.0

Overall, Adobe Illustrator is an excellent tool in helping me create just-in-time graphics, documentation, and word art for various business use cases. It is a perfect supplement to other Adobe tools, like PhotoShop or InDesign.

Pros

While Adobe Illustrator has a steep learning curve, the platform's ability to create custom graphics and word art remains a leader in the field. While it used to be difficult to get started, the incorporation of Firefly and generative AI makes it even easier to create.

Cons

The learning curve. There is a vast amount of options and settings to learn before you can fully create some of the graphics you have in mind.

### "Reliable vector design for print production"

April 20, 2025

5.0

It’s helped building our design-to-print workflow and reduce errors in color and sizing when printing client signage projects, and that has saved us time when we send proofs to clients.

Pros

Illustrator’s vector tools and print-ready presets are so detailed that it ensures signage designs will align perfectly for large-format printing.

Cons

The software won’t work well on old systems, so if you throw big, complex files into its maw, it’ll slow down, which affects production schedules.

I use it for advanced vector design and it really delivers. It's not easy but also not as hard as ppl say. I found the learning curve long and tricky but with practice and using it more, it gets lighter.

Pros

very good tool for vector work, really recommend it for logo design and that kind of stuff. those are the things that stood out the most for me from using it.

### "Pixel Perfect"

January 13, 2025

5.0

Illustrator is a core product in my workflow and I cannot live without it.

Pros

Illustrator is an industry-standard vector editing program. Whether you're a full-time illustrator or a designer who needs to vectorize a logo concept, Illustrator has the tools you need to bring your ideas to life.

Cons

The learning curve for Illustrator can be steep. This can make the barrier of entry difficult, but once you find your footing the product is so powerful it more than makes up for the time spent getting started. Illustrator can also sometimes bog down with intensive illustrations if your hardware is not up to the task.
