Landscape Technician Architecture & Planning Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Adobe Illustrator Brings Our Landscape Designs to Life" July 1, 2024 5.0 As an overall experience Adobe Illustrator is a great tool to have as a part of the suite of software that we use, it integrates well with the other Adobe apps in the Creative Cloud that we use as well and our CAD software packages. We wouldn't be able to achieve what we do without it. Adobe Illustrator is definitely in our top 3 must have apps. Pros Adobe Illustrator is fantastic, we use it extensively in our design studio to bring our landscape drawings to life. Illustrator gives us the flexibility to present our design drawings and plans as we had imagined them, it is far easier and much quicker to get the desired "look" in Illustrator than it is with CAD software. Illustrator gives a greater control over hatches and colours and helps us get it right first time. Cons The only thing I can think of is that as a CAD design studio, Adobe Illustrator operates in a completely different way to the CAD software that we use, so there is a fairly steep learning curve if you are not used to using it on a regular basis. However this can be quickly overcome to give great results.
