### "Great features!"

February 19, 2026

5.0

Pros

Adobe Commerce helped my company with inventory, POS and editing our website. I found it easy to use with tutorials along the way and if in had questions customer service was there to support.

Cons

I feel it’s pricey and when in went to cancel it wasn’t as clear a process as I had hoped, but customer service did help.

### "A professional B2B, B2C efficient and fast solution!"

October 15, 2025

5.0

We started using Adobe Commerce as a separate platform for half of year now. During this time, a significant visitor number increase as well as new partners are now a fundamental part of our business. We have reached new customers and the overall integration is seamless, fast and stable with scalability at its core.

Pros

Based on Magento, Adobe Commerce helped us reach the desired B2B levels desired. We have managed to reach different markets and reorganise the small resell aspects of our operations. We have implemented Adobe Commerce to our clients as well, with speed increased and number of visits significantly increased.

Cons

Certain limitations, certain aspects require support or paid integrations. We had a smooth experience overall and with the help of their Customer Support we found viable solutions.

### "Powerful and Scalable eCommerce Platform for Growing Businesses"

April 24, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Adobe Commerce has been positive. It’s a powerful and feature-rich platform that supports growth and customization, though it requires time, resources, and expertise to use effectively.

Pros

I like the flexibility and scalability of the platform. It allows for deep customization and supports complex business needs, making it a strong choice for growing or enterprise-level companies.

Cons

The biggest downside is the complexity and cost. It often requires technical expertise to manage and can be more expensive compared to other platforms.

### "Complete, powerful, but expensive and complex"

November 3, 2025

After 5 years using it, I found it very limiting without a strong and dedicated IT team behind you...

Pros

Highly versatile and customizable, Adobe Commerce lets you tailor every aspect of your store’s design and logic.

Cons

High cost, constant need for a developer, and long working hours make it demanding to maintain the platform.

### "For the big dawgs, this one might be your ticket."

January 22, 2026

4.0

Tons of extensions, documentation, and third-party developers available, which makes it easier to find solutions (or help) when things get complicated...and they most likely will at some point haha.

Pros

Adobe Commerce is a beast in the best way. You can customize almost every part of the storefront, checkout, product logic, and backend workflows. It’s ideal for complex catalogs, B2B pricing, and multi-store setups.

Cons

This is not beginner-friendly. Non-technical users may find the admin overwhelming, and meaningful customization usually requires experienced developers.

### "Feature rich but overbuilt. "

September 6, 2025

3.0

Massive e-commerce platform with limitless customization and enterprise-grade features. Requires a level of understanding the average user may not have.

Pros

Extreme customization, advanced features for large enterprises, strong community of developers for third-party integrations.

Cons

Steep learning curve, very technical, not beginner-friendly. Expensive to build, host, and maintain. Developers are very much required. Extensions often add cost and can cause compatibility issues.

Clever piece of software that requires deep technical understanding to manipulate it but can be used to manage site day to day.

Pros

Cons

You need a development team competent with adobe commerce to program and maintain the site for you regularly.

### "Powerful but expensive"

April 19, 2026

4.0

It is a very powerful tool. However it is expensive and sometimes you do need a dedicated in-house developers team

Pros

You can freely customise the checkout, product pages, and backend workflow exactly to your need with no limit. It can also handle complicated and massive catalog and not choke on the data.

Cons

Upgrade needs working. Every time it upgrades, there is a big risk of my website being down. It also has conflicts with third party plug-ins. The hidden costs of maintenance is also another pain, even though the licensing fee is free. Sometime you have to pay a specialised Magento agencies for complex maintenance tasks.

### "Adobe Always Comes Correct with their Platforms!"

August 5, 2024

5.0

Overall, I will continue using Adobe Commerce because of the ease of posting items and the wide range of varying customizations which, make it something I don't need to spend a bulk of my time using.

Pros

The ease of use is what I enjoy most about Adobe Commerce. Like the other programs within Adobe they can be used to navigate workflow easily for ecommerce shop owners.

Cons

It can get pricey for a business owner if you have a larger inventory of items you're looking to sell. The customizations within your items can also up the price within the platform.

### "Adobe Commerce: The Game-Changing E-commerce Platform You Need to Know About"

March 2, 2023

4.0

The difficulty in creating and managing personalized customer experiences on our e-commerce websites was one of our primary business issues prior to implementing Adobe Commerce. However, we have been able to easily develop and modify our websites to meet the specific requirements of our clients thanks to Adobe Commerce. There are numerous advantages to using Adobe Commerce. First, we were able to divide our customers into groups based on factors like their demographics, user activity, shopping cart, and previous purchases. We have been able to tailor content, pricing, and promotions to specific customers thanks to this, which has resulted in increased sales and customer satisfaction. Additionally, our website has seen an increase in traffic and conversion rates as a result of Adobe Commerce's SEO-friendly features increasing our website's visibility and ranking on search engines. We have also discovered that customization and ease of use are benefits. Customizing usability, shopping carts, and online store features has been simple for us thanks to the rule-based product relations and drag-and-drop page builder. In addition, we have been able to test new modules and roll back changes if necessary, ensuring that the customer journey is always optimized. In general, working with Adobe Commerce has been a fantastic experience.

Pros

I can confidently assert that Adobe Commerce has revolutionized our e-commerce operations. We were able to create and manage our e-commerce website with minimal technical expertise thanks to the drag-and-drop page builders. We have been able to provide our customers with a more individualized shopping experience thanks to the features for targeting and segmenting customers, which has resulted in increased sales and customer loyalty. The ability to create pricing and promotions for multiple e-commerce sites is one of Adobe Commerce's main advantages. We are able to offer discounts and promotions to a variety of customers and market segments through multiple channels by using rule-based up-selling and targeted promotions. We have been able to offer personalized discounts and promotions to our customers, which has not only helped us increase our sales but also strengthened our relationships with them.Adobe Commerce's drag-and-drop custom page builder is yet another great feature. We can now tailor content to specific customer segments and upload it, ensuring that only relevant content is included in the customer journey. Site owners can view and experience the site's content as a customer because all edits and changes are saved for future reference and content staging preview.Overall, I would highly recommend Adobe Commerce to any company that wants to improve its e-commerce capabilities and give its customers a personalized shopping experience.

Cons

I must admit that the platform's steep learning curve is one of its biggest drawbacks. For new users, it can be frustrating because it can take some time to comprehend all of the platform's features and functions. However, Adobe Commerce can be a useful management tool for your e-commerce business once you get the hang of it.The platform's high price is another drawback I've encountered. Adobe Commerce is designed for larger businesses, so it can be quite pricey. For smaller businesses looking to enter the e-commerce market, this may be a barrier. However, Adobe Commerce's advantages far outweigh its drawbacks. I believe it is well worth the investment for businesses looking to expand their e-commerce capabilities.

### "Is Adobe Commerce the Right E-Commerce Solution for Your Business?"

December 29, 2022

5.0

Overall, Adobe Commerce is a solid choice for businesses looking to create and manage an online store. Its user-friendly interface and wide range of features make it easy to set up and manage an online store, while its integrations with popular payment gateways and advanced security measures provide a secure and reliable platform for conducting e-commerce transactions.

Pros

One of the main pros of Adobe Commerce is its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy for us to set up and manage our online store. The platform also offers a wide range of customizable templates and design options, allowing businesses to create a visually appealing and professional-looking store.Another pro is the platform's integrations with popular payment gateways, such as PayPal and Stripe, which make it easy to accept payments from customers. Adobe Commerce also offers advanced security measures to protect customer data and ensure secure transactions.

Cons

One of the cons of Adobe Commerce is that it can be expensive, especially for businesses that require a lot of customizations or advanced features. Additionally, the platform may not be suitable for businesses with very large product catalogs, as it can be resource-intensive and may require additional server resources to handle the load.

### "If you build it they will come really should be if you build on here you're stuck!"

December 5, 2018

3.0

The platform is not plug and play the way Magento presents it to be. You are really only buying an outlined platform of how your site will approximately look. Most of the real work and heavy lifting still needs to be done in the programming. Not what expensive templates are supposed to deliver. Unless you can hire an in house experienced Magento developer stay away. You will either be taken advantage of and pay way too much for your site's development or be stuck with a foreign company impossible to communicate effectively. Almost all of the well know e-commerce platforms are easier to maneuver and have considerable affordable US based skilled help.

Pros

the ability to display and manipulate graphics is second to none.

Cons

We purchased megento 2.0 platform for our ecommerce site. We asked our friends at Magento to recommend some developers. My partners and I are fairly savy HTML programers and quick learners. We picked Magento because it came with a solid template and touted it's back end admin ease of usage. We figured we would hire a developer to make sure we had a correct skeloton and basic map of what we wanted in a site and then take over the work of actually writing and inserting the messaging and digital content. All the developers we were reffered to wanted starting retainers of $30,000 plus for what we knew would only be 10 to 20 hours of work for a developer familiar or specializing in Magento. We ended up finding our own magento developer who we thought understood our concepts and scope of work. Apparently they did but since most affordable Magento developers are based in India be prepared for all types of language issues and conference calls in the middle of the night. I'm sure we got what we paid for so shame on us but the alternative because of magento's lack of credible viable resources was to cancel the project.

### "Flexible and Administration Ease"

August 21, 2018

4.0

Enterprise and dealing with the development company that supported us was terrible but community and a local developer has been great. We didn't have the budget for the big version but were sold into it by the developer when the community version was more appropriate.

Pros

We are a small family business and reliant (for many things) on our ability to manage the back end of our site. Neither of us have a background in building sites, managing integration, etc. but we have been able to get very comfortable with the back end of the site. For a novice or inexperienced person, I was surprised that I could pick it up quickly. We use the community version which has been critical to controlling costs. At that same time, we haven't sacrificed functionality in that there are some incredible plug-ins that ultimately replaced the Enterprise functionality (which we moved away from because of the annual price tag). We also work with a small development company locally who manage the set up of the plug-ins (but quite honestly it seems fairly straightforward). As the site "breaks" (for lack of a better word), we have our developer do it.

Cons

It's possible that it is far more plug and play than I realize for plug-ins but would love to see something user friendly created. There used to be some version of Magento that I think was discontinued but you almost need something for smaller companies that gives them the sophistication of the community edition but potentially managed by Magento. In the next few years, we need to make a decision to stay on Magento or move and Shopify has a managed version that is very intriguing. Our computers are using it and Big Commerce and they look every bit as sophisticated on the front end as we do but we are reliant on a separate developer who could move on or go out of business. A stable subscription based product for larger small businesses would be great.

### "Magento Among the Best for eCommerce"

May 6, 2020

5.0

Overall, I have been very satisfied with Magento Commerce. It did take some getting use to, and now that there are some other competitors in the market, I'd say that Magento has passed my expectations and I would consider Magento as a top competitor for eCommerce. Definitely watch a few tutorials to get an idea about the initial setup, and give Magento Commerce a try.

Pros

Magento is incredibly flexible, it allows you to start with a framework that has the function to develop an eCommerce platform / store just how you'd want it. There are numerous add-ons that intergrate effectively making it somewhat of an easy plug and play. Considering that I was working on one platform to run several micro-niche stores, it works extremelly well. There's a lot to learn, but it's a superb platform for eCommerce.

Cons

Just like any business, there will be some investments to make in order to get the eCommerce platform to perform the way you want it to, however, there's a steep learning curve at least from my experience. I had to read and watch a lot of tutorials to get the websites where I wanted them to be but it was also educational since this was the first time I was setting up multi-stores. It was a rather complex procedure, and I had to rely on Magento experts at times to help with the development of the site.

Reason for choosing Adobe Commerce

At the time, I wanted a reliable eCommerce platform that catered to multi niche stores and it didn't disappoint!

### "Only committed Adobe users should buy this software"

October 31, 2019

3.0

We were on Magento 1 and when it came time to upgrade, we realized that everything would have to be rewritten for M2. So, we decided to abandon Magento entirely and will save at least $8,000 month and probably $100k per year in dev fees. We'll be going with BigCommerce from now on.

Pros

Magento has tons of features A huge amount of apps to purchase Many qualified developers to contract with Standard features like page builders now come with it Rock-solid security

Cons

Magento is ridiculously expensive. Not just for the licensing of the Enterprise version, but for the apps, the developers and the entire ecosystem. You aren't getting the true value of open source any more. The only way Magento makes sense is if you are a part of the Adobe ecosystem and need to rely on the integrations that Adobe will (eventually--not fully done) provide.

Reason for choosing Adobe Commerce

We originally chose Magento for its power, but the power:cost ratio is terrible. We'll be using BigCommerce from now on, finally switching over early next year. Projected cost savings is over $100k per year and revenue increase should be $1M or more.

### "Magento : Perfect eCommerce platform"

November 13, 2018

5.0

More than just an ordinary eCommerce platform which is efficient and effective .

Pros

Magento is suitable for any business group whether it is a small or large business and its admin dashboard will provide a perfect overview of the business. We can use free and paid plugins as our requirements. It is a Responsive eCommerce platform which can runs on any mobile or computer devices and also Highly customizable and developer friendly CMS platform.Enriched with important features and functionalities to provide everything in a one platform. Magento is capable for integrations such as payment gateways and able to set up currency and languages depend on the location.

Cons

I'm using magento 2.2 . The main con according to me is, when i need to edit the content of a page it will give us only a small size text area(text box) which is difficult to work with using mouse scroll and also If we are having large number of products website may slow with its performance. Developer skills are required if we want to customize the platform.

### "Industrial performance on an open source platform "

July 2, 2018

5.0

Incredible way to leverage the power of e-commerce on the internet.

Pros

Magento proves time and time again to be scalable beyond any other e-commerce platform that I've tried. With millions of plugins and plenty of developers working freelance worldwide, we've never hit a problem that can't be solved with an inexpensive plugin or a few hours of third-party development costs. We've put through tens of millions of pounds of transactions throughout the years and the ability of the websites to handle peaks and troughs of traffic are unparalleled.

Cons

The software needs a true developer to customise it's functionality. If you wish to do something that is not handled by a plugin, the process of specifying and developing a custom function takes more involvement than on other platforms. Magento provides a bulletproof solution for enterprises where a member of staff can be tasked with the daily running of the site, it's not a "fire and Forget" solution by any stretch of the imagination.

### "To create a professional ecommerce platform"

December 4, 2022

4.0

I loved working on Adobe Commerce, but it's good to point out that it's a service aimed at professionals, so it would be better to entrust it to an agency for optimal results. I used it with Adobe Analytics; it allowed me to have advanced statistics and boost my productivity

Pros

Since Adobe Commerce has taken over Magento, we must admit that there have been many improvements, and this is to be congratulated. Backend design is much more simplified, especially the drag and drop, no need to get confused in the source codes, the integration of AI for site optimization, and increased turnover, are among other tools that facilitate the use of Adobe Commerce. Adobe has brought the professional touch that we recognize. I love the page builder. It's good to point out that it's quite light and mobile-friendly, so SEO optimized. I'm just going to recommend it; you won't be disappointed

### "The best E-commerce Platform for Website"

April 30, 2020

5.0

My overall experience with Magento is really awesome and good. Because I have developed a number of websites for my users using the Magento. My customers really like the themes and templates of Magento. I really like the payment gateways which I can add on my website using the Magento. No doubt, the process of adding the product on the websites is really easy and simple. I always use some external extensions for different e-commerce purposes. In short, I am really satisfied with Magento and I really love and like this unique e-commerce shopping platform.

Pros

Magento commerce allows you to build stunning and professional e-commerce websites. You can increase your online shopping experience. The dashboard is really simple and incredible, where you can easily add products with different content like a description of the product and images of the product. You can see order and customer details in such a simple way. Magento Marketplace is the platform where you can get professional extensions for your Magento commerce website. These modules can improve your online store business and can give a unique and professional look to your website.

Cons

No doubt, Magento is the best e-commerce platform which is very best for the beginners and also for the advanced users. Selling products online now very easy with Magento. I don't think so there is any negative point in Magento. Because all options are really incredible and fabulous for the e-commerce business users ans also for the customers.

### "It was easy to transition from WordPress to Magento for a large e-commerce site"

July 12, 2018

5.0

Ability to successfully handle business with various types of customers for a business that does both b2c and b2b.

Pros

I used to think that WordPress was the best CMS available. However, once I started working for a company with complex e-commerce needs, I soon realized that WordPress just wouldn't do the job. What I enjoy about Magento is its ability to handle complex systems, and it's ability to integrate with various systems and plugins. Our business is both b2c and b2b, and I'm amazed at Magento's ability to handle our different types of customers.

Cons

At first I felt like the interface was a little clunky. It was not as clean of an interface as I was used to with WordPress. At first it can be a little overwhelming to navigate, but it doesn't take too long for the interface to become second nature. Also, there are a few work arounds that are needed here-and-there. For example, it's easier to copy and paste html code into a text editor instead of editing it within Magento. And sometimes there is a "save and continue" button that doesn't make much sense, as it redirects you to another page as soon as you save your work. But you get used to all of this pretty quickly.
